First time in Charleston and we were overjoyed to have chosen this Inn. Its right near all the great sights, shopping and dining. Valet parking was effortless and the welcome at reception was friendly and efficient. Rooms are clean, stylish and a good size. The bar is great and we enjoyed drinks in the pretty courtyard where the hotel also serves evening drinks and canapes. Breakfast was fine, coffee, pastries a couple of cooked items etc. What made this Inn stand out are all the extra touches and the kind but professional service from staff It might be slightly pricey but we have payed more at 5* hotels and had a lesser experience. Would definitely recommend as a relaxing, welcoming and beautiful base when visiting this gorgeous city!!

The Inn was expensive, but we had a very nice room with good amount of space. The bed was very comfortable, and we had great room service with chocolates and fresh towels daily. Although the breakfast buffet was decent the eggs and some of the cooked foods were not very good. They were often dried out and not flavorful. There was fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, cereal, juices and coffee. The coffee was disappointing too. If the main items and coffee were better, we would not have gone out for breakfast twice. There were yummy chocolate chip cookies at night, fresh and warm. We only wish they had them a little earlier in the evening. The location is convenient to sites downtown.

It's perfectly located in (or just adjoining) the French Quarter so it's walkable to the waterfront, the lovely historic homes and neighborhoods, and the best restaurants. Every single staff person I encountered was professional as well as personable, from the front desk to housekeeping to valet services to food and beverage service. The property is spotlessly clean, the beds are comfortable, and the pillows are the best! The breakfast and the wine reception provide a delicious and abundant array of food and beverages. In summary, I HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

What a beautiful and charming boutique hotel in the heart of Charleston. The service was impeccable and the rooms were so well appointed. The beds and pillows were some of the most comfortable of any hotel I have ever stayed in. It's a little pricey, but so worth it!

Immaculate service! Was my wife’s birthday- asked for flowers in our room when we arrived! She loved them. Such a great place and awesome service all around! Hotel is located at the market and in easy walking distance to one of our fav restaurants. View of the church spires from our room was amazing! Highly recommend!

I am a former chef and am now a catering director at a private country club. Being extremely picky and wanting the best possible accommodations and food - we were nothing but happy with French Quarter Inn!

My wife and I stayed at the French Quarter Inn on a Monday and Tuesday evening. As our second visit to Charleston, we wanted to enjoy the Battery area history and restaurants for a couple days. French Quarter Inn was fantastic! The staff really set the stage for a memorable and rejuvenating visit. Charleston really is a unique and wonderful city, and I highly recommend the French Quarter Inn for helping us take a little of Charleston with us.
