When my group chose this hotel, I wasn't expecting the royal treatment, but my experiences at La Quintas were always pleasant, so I went along with the choice. At first glance the hotel looked decent, but things quickly added up to completely make my stay unsatisfying. From the disgusting litter in the parking lot to the mold and mildew in the bathroom to being overcharged for the number of days that I stayed. It was unlike any La Quinta that I've stayed at. I can't say it's the worst hotel I've stayed in, but it is a competitor for it.

I just needed a place to rest for the night. I drove TX and heading back to the West coast. I was trying to make it to Denver but there was a heavy downpour in Colorado Springs, and it was already 5pm, so I decided to stay for the night. From the outside, it looked decent. I wasn't looking for a 5-star hotel. There were also a lot of decent looking vehicles parked in the complex, so I decided it shouldn't be too bad. Room was so, so. I only needed a basic room. Seemed like most of the guests were just passing by like me. Water in shower took a while to heat up. I think this is one thing that hotels try to skimp on, not thinking that there's more waste on water because you have to wait too long before water even gets warm. Breakfast was very minimal. They had 2 kinds of bread, and 1 kind of bagel. They didn't even have butter. The protein option was boiled egg that was in a tray that looked like a fridge tray. No tongs to use, anyone can just grab with their bare hands and not think of sanitation. If you're so tired and just needed a bed for the night, this will do. But if you're expecting for the old La Quinta/Wyndham service, you'll be disappointed.

There is a pool, but it is closed. Limited lighting and trash in parking lot. Bathroom smaller than they appear in the online pictures. Room is okay (no bugs but dark and damp) Internet was satisfactory Water pressure and water temperature was satisfactory A/C unit worked You definitely want to make sure that you arrive to your hotel before dark. This hotel will take anyone that is able to pay for a room.

Kind and great staff and decent facilities. Breakfast was good quality and staff were very attentive. Parts of the building may be starting to age. Easy to check in and check out. It was slightly a maze to get to our top floor room. Would recommend.

Worse place to stay if you are handicapped. Elevator outside in the rain. Too many stairs. Old rooms cheaply repainted with the cheapest appliances. Bathroom shower mat dirty and doors on outside not safe! Police in the lobby in the morning.

Purchased the package at The Cheyenne Cañon Inn for a quiet weekend with my wife. Was not sure what to expect but was more than pleasantly surprised. We had a nice reception when we arrived, got a tour of the facility and our room. The room was fantastic and we got to view the other unoccupied rooms which were all decorated in different themes. The views from the inn were fantastic, with views of both the North and South Cheyenne Cañon , Mount Cutler and Cheyenne Mountain. It was great to sit outside and watch the birds, deer and people go by. The entrance is just inside the boundary of Colorado Springs City Park. There are some outside sitting areas around the property, but the real charm is the people who made us feel like we were at home. We give The Cheyenne Cañon Inn the best rating by planning a return trip and enjoying the hospitality some more.
