Worst experience I have ever had checking into a hotel. The front desk clerk- Karina- is the most unprofessional, rude and disrespectful human I have met. Did not stay!! And won’t stay at a Quality Inn ever again!!!!

WHERE TO EVEN START!!!!

How this place keeps it's Wyndham La Quinta franchise is beyond me. This place is a travesty. The day we checked in the elevator was broken to the 2nd floor and climbing stairs was very difficult dealing with altitude sickness and carrying luggage. We had booked 5 rooms, all paid in advance with Wyndham points (husband has worked for Wyndham for 30 years) and 2 of our family members (2 rooms) decided right off to stay elsewhere, I was so embarrassed as we had provided the rooms as a gift during a family wedding. Our family are very easy going and normally just ok, is ok, especially when you are exhausted from travel but this place was disgusting, it was almost laughable. From the crumbling foundation for many stairways to the TRASH EVERYWHERE! Just everywhere you looked there was garbage, the walkways, the stairs, the parking lot. The rooms stank. One of my family members left because of this. It was VERY overpowering. There was hair all over our sheets. We slept on our own blankets we brought. There looked to be feces under the rim of the toilet of one of our family's rooms, they chose to not stay. BUT THE MOST infuriating is charges that showed up on our credit card (again, everything was paid with points ahead of time). After 2 weeks of calls the manager just lies and says charges have been reversed. They have not. We are reporting this La Quinta to corporate office. Just do yourself A FAVOR and say absolutely anywhere else.

When my group chose this hotel, I wasn't expecting the royal treatment, but my experiences at La Quintas were always pleasant, so I went along with the choice. At first glance the hotel looked decent, but things quickly added up to completely make my stay unsatisfying. From the disgusting litter in the parking lot to the mold and mildew in the bathroom to being overcharged for the number of days that I stayed. It was unlike any La Quinta that I've stayed at. I can't say it's the worst hotel I've stayed in, but it is a competitor for it.

Forgotten location by the Wyndham Gods

I just needed a place to rest for the night. I drove TX and heading back to the West coast. I was trying to make it to Denver but there was a heavy downpour in Colorado Springs, and it was already 5pm, so I decided to stay for the night. From the outside, it looked decent. I wasn't looking for a 5-star hotel. There were also a lot of decent looking vehicles parked in the complex, so I decided it shouldn't be too bad. Room was so, so. I only needed a basic room. Seemed like most of the guests were just passing by like me. Water in shower took a while to heat up. I think this is one thing that hotels try to skimp on, not thinking that there's more waste on water because you have to wait too long before water even gets warm. Breakfast was very minimal. They had 2 kinds of bread, and 1 kind of bagel. They didn't even have butter. The protein option was boiled egg that was in a tray that looked like a fridge tray. No tongs to use, anyone can just grab with their bare hands and not think of sanitation. If you're so tired and just needed a bed for the night, this will do. But if you're expecting for the old La Quinta/Wyndham service, you'll be disappointed.

Purchased the package at The Cheyenne Cañon Inn for a quiet weekend with my wife. Was not sure what to expect but was more than pleasantly surprised. We had a nice reception when we arrived, got a tour of the facility and our room. The room was fantastic and we got to view the other unoccupied rooms which were all decorated in different themes. The views from the inn were fantastic, with views of both the North and South Cheyenne Cañon , Mount Cutler and Cheyenne Mountain. It was great to sit outside and watch the birds, deer and people go by. The entrance is just inside the boundary of Colorado Springs City Park. There are some outside sitting areas around the property, but the real charm is the people who made us feel like we were at home. We give The Cheyenne Cañon Inn the best rating by planning a return trip and enjoying the hospitality some more.
