Quiet oasis next to il Duomo
Sophisticated oasis steps from il Duomo. We actually had a modest view from our room! Despite the heat and the crowds outside, this hotel’s rooms are spacious, quiet and cool—literally, great air conditioning!) Very friendly and helpful staff. You have your own key to enter classic palace doors in the evening. Good breakfast with fine cappuccino or coffee.

Location, service and Charming
Excellent, the service and the location are great, charming old world feel with updated amenities. Would go back when I visit again. Lots of restaurants near by. The hotel kept our bags in their storage when we left for a couple of days at no cost. Really enjoyed our stay

A Great Property Near Duomo
We used Palazzo Niccolini both before and after a week's stay in Cortona. We found the property charming and well maintained; for an historically significant building very close to the Duomo, it is marvelous. The staff was highly accommodating during our visit and helped arrange drivers from/to the airport and to Cortona. The breakfast was nicely done in the common area; the wait staff was professional and friendly. We recommend this property highly.

Wonderful Hotel and Location
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Palazza Niccolini al Duomo. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and our room was spectacular. The location is so perfect for seeing the city and a short walking distance from the train station. We would highly recommend this hotel!

Best in the City!!!
My wife, son and I stayed here for one night during spring break. I wish we could have stayed here longer. Beautiful place or should I say palace! We stayed in the Royal Deluxe Suite and enjoyed the spacious rooms. Great views of the Duomo out the windows. It's literally straight across the street with nothing blocking your view from top to bottom. Loved everything about the accommodations. Breakfast was the best we had on the entire trip. Staff was exceptional. They let us leave our bags at the hotel while we explored the city after check out. The train to the next destination didn't leave until mid afternoon so the temporary bag storage was great. Location is pretty central to all the attractions museums, restaurants, Ponte Vecchio and Santa Maria Novella train station. Maximum 5-10 minute walk to all attractions.
