Cozy Winter Getaway

We came to AWOL to experience Christmas Prelude weekend! The cabins were cute and cozy and the breakfast was delicious each morning! It was a quick walk downtown to all the events and we felt lucky to have such accessibility to the town. The hospitality was incredible and we would definitely recommend the stay!

The Captains house that is on the National Register for historic places was beautiful from the outside but when you went inside it was a minimalistic nightmare. There was not one comfortable chair or place to sit on in the entire house. The sloppy wornout futon used as a sofa was more for a down and out hobo.

Beautiful, historic building. We stayed in the main house— in the top room with the 2 floors. The place was very clean, staff were friendly and breakfast was perfect to start our day. I would highly recommend.
