A darling hotel with lots of attention to little details. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was top notch.

We stayed here last year as well as this year and the hotel is excellent. The cabins make you feel like you are secluded from town but really you are only 3 blocks away. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfast in the main house is perfect and set up well. The chocolate chip cookies in the evening are a nice touch. We used our personal fire pit every night. Stay here if you are looking for great parking a great room and great service.

We loved our stay at the AWOL was. The sheets and bed were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed and very nice. We especially loved the bath products which is something rare for us. The breakfast was nice and the front porch always cozy. Easy parking and a quick walk into town but just enough away from the heavy traffic.

Easy to get to and easy check in. Excellent location to walk to the town center but is located in a quiet area of town. Very good staff who laid out a very nice continental breakfast. Plenty of on site parking. We got the cupola suite which was very expensive but very unique. Relaxed up there late afternoon, late night, and early morning. Very cool.

Pros and cons. Stayed in a Cabin studio for $800/night. Nice location near downtown kennebunkport, spacious living area, small bathroom. Nice breakfast in the main house. Coffee started at 7:30, continental breakfast 8-10. Each cabin had an outdoor seating area that might have been comfortable but was dirty with landscaping unkept. This should have been clean given the expense of this room
