A gracious English-Style country house, the former private home called Devonfield crowns 29 acres of tree-shaded meadows just outside Lenox, Massachusetts. With the rolling tapestry of the Berkshire Hills beyond, this charming bed and breakfast offers New England elegance in the town of Lee, whose quaint shops and residences have remained largely unchanged for 75 years. Perfect respite is promised in exquisite, traditionally styled guest rooms -- some with wood-burning fireplaces or Jacuzzis, hand-crafted quilts or fluffy down comforters, and all with complimentary brandy and hand-made chocolates.

Hello Doug and Jim, You have a lovely inn and you are warm and welcoming hosts. The second Thanksgiving I have been to Devonfield. It is a wonderful place to stay. Staff are all so accommodating and sweet. Rooms are immaculate and breakfast incredibly delicious. It is definitely deserving of a 10+ rating! 👍👍 I look forward to visiting again! Happy holidays! Just spent the MOST relaxing Thanksgiving week at the Inn. Every morning there was a different breakfast. Thanksgiving dinner was superb along with a wine and cheese pre-dinner warmup. The day after, the Inn turns into the Winter Wonderland of your dreams. We stayed in a spacious room with a wood burning fireplace, nothing like the smell of a wood fireplace. We have booked Xmas through the New Year, Can't wait....

Stepping into the entrance foyer of the Inn is truly a journey back to a more genial time when hospitality was prized. The comfortable furnishings and thoughtful touches are everywhere. A handful of M&Ms or an evening cordial are all available. The lush bath towels and impossibly comfortable bed make your stay enjoyable. The next morning greets you with an excellent selection of breakfast choices and fresh coffee on the sun drenched porch or dining room. To say you will be spoiled would not be an overstatement. Doug and Jim are consummate hosts, book and enjoy!
