We rented The Farmhouse for a group of work colleagues doing a writing retreat. Venetia and Sheila were so welcoming. I had stayed in winter previously (beautiful and calm). This early August stay was also stunning, and we were able to enjoy some s'mores and the fire pit! Breakfast is really good, they have nice yogurts, berries, and apple turnovers.

The property was beautiful and elegant. It is self check in, so upon arrival we entered the Inn to beautiful era decorated rooms with nice music playing from the past. The staff was excellent, accessible but not intrusive. The owner greeted us on our last day to ensure our stay was exceptional. The property is very private and rich with history. We highly recommend The Red Clover Inn!

The Red Clover Inn was a wonderful getaway, comfortable and welcoming and very homey. We were able to use the main floor living room, game room and tv lounge. Our room was clean and nicely decorated and the grounds were spacious and beautiful. The owners were friendly and responsive to our needs and it was a pleasure getting to know them.

What a wonderful place to stay in central Vermont. Rutland is close by for all your commercial needs. All of historical Vermont is an accessible drive away. The hotel is clean, well maintained, quiet, and the staff are friendly. The owner comes down every morning to greet everyone at breakfast. Our room was perfect for our needs. But from what we hear about the other suites, we may try an upgrade next time. Sounds worth it. I'm told they can also host events, which could be helpful in the future as well. Our breakfast included locally baked pastries from a nearby orchard. I loved the small snack bar in the sun room. Every day I grabbed a bag of apple chips. There's sparkling drinks in the fridge displayed neatly, too. The overall atmosphere is that you are a guest in someone's home. It does not feel like a hotel or an Airbnb. We felt like we were invited and welcomed into someone's personal home. We were asked multiple times if the was anything missing. Prior to arrival, we were encouraged to call if we remembered something we had forgotten to ask for. We did this and our accommodations were waiting. We stayed 6 nights. By the time we left, we had had 2 or 3 breakfasts with Venetia and watch her support her staff, helping them grow. Sheila clearly knows how this home works. She's always there for us. We'll be back!

We just stayed at the Inn for the weekend for a family wedding and we loved it. The ambiance, decor, comfort and surrounding nature was just amazing. We felt right at home. Staff wasn't obvious but you knew help was literally seconds away. I'm an early bird. What a joy to get up and make a coffee anytime without waiting for a specific time to get the "Morning Joe". It was a peaceful time for my meditation practice and I loved being able to fire-up the fireplace and relax. Your Inn is flat out graceful, elegant yet amazingly comfortable. We will certainly let others know about this great place!
