We had a wonderful stay at the Red Clover Inn this summer! Our family of five stayed in the Farmhouse with our three children, and it was exactly the peaceful retreat we needed. The Farmhouse had plenty of room for everyone to spread out while still feeling warm and cozy. The grounds are beautiful, and there was no shortage of outdoor activities for the kids to enjoy. It was such a refreshing break from city life with quiet mornings, fresh air, and a relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unplug and reconnect as a family. The property is charming, well maintained, and perfectly situated for exploring Vermont while also being a destination in itself. If you’re looking for a peaceful family getaway, a couples’ retreat, or simply a place to slow down and enjoy nature, I highly recommend the Red Clover Inn. We left feeling refreshed and would happily stay again!

Wow, what an amazing place. This is my second time coming to the Red Clover for a business retreat and it was just perfect. The location and ambiance are really special. The space is ideal for collaborating with colleagues as well as spacing out in small groups. We were able to work hard and play hard, combining some outdoor adventures for team building, and relaxing in the most comfortable bed after enjoying a campfire with s'mores. The meals were so great, thoughtfully planned. The place is spotless. and the surroundings are so peaceful. Thank you to the amazing host Venetia and her staff. This place is a gem!!!

We had a very pleasant stay at the Red Clover Inn. Our spacious room with a big tub within the room and a private balcony with a beautiful view was the perfect setup to relax, recharge, and reconnect with nature. Only short drives away are many options for activities like hiking, biking and indoor rock climbing at the Green Mountain Rock Climbing Center in Rutland.

The ambience and the personal care here at the Red Clover Inn makes me want to move in and stay forever! I grew up in New Hampshire, so I’ve been all over New England and this is one of my absolute most favorite places to visit. When I was here in July, we took a three hour canoe trip down a local river, hiked to the top of a couple of local mountains, dove to the lake at the state park, went rock climbing at the local climbing gym. We stayed at the Inn and had a beautiful dinner outside on the lawn in a setting that made me feel like I was being pampered at my wedding again. In the winter, it’s cozy and snowy and so easy to ski and snowshoe on Killington and Pico. I took peaceful walks on the local dirt roads in the mornings and had a kind of walking meditation in a beautiful wooded area peacefully by myself. The hosts had fresh cut flowers everywhere, in my room, in the dining areas in the coffee areas, tucked in next to the stairway as you enter the end, flowers blooming as you drive in the driveway in an old urn, flowers at the barn when you walk over for morning yoga. The personal touch feels so memorable, and the setting is so lovely that I just can’t wait to come back again. Can you give a place more than five stars?
