We loved our stay at the Red Clover Inn

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

We had a really lovely stay at the Red Clover Inn. The property is large, quiet, and beautifully located, with plenty of space to relax. We spent time sitting outside on the sun loungers by the pond, which was very peaceful. The house itself is newly renovated and very tastefully decorated—cozy, full of thoughtful details and nice smells, that make it feel welcoming. There are several common areas to relax in, we lit the fireplace every evening. Breakfast was great and varied, with fresh fruit and granola, and felt genuinely made with care. The room was very comfortable and nicely designed, as well, and very clean. We also really enjoyed getting to know the owners, Venetia and Mark—they’re interesting, warm people, and we had some great conversations. Mark gave us excellent hiking recommendations. We would absolutely recommend this place for a great vacation.

Red Clover Inn was a wonderful place for a family! Close to Killington and Pico mountains, with a wonderful kitchen, as well as breakfast available from 7:30am-9am every morning. The owners are attentive and kind, and made our stay very comfortable!

Wonderful stay near Killington

Red Clover Inn is a lovely winter getaway that we will definitely be coming back to!! We loved the location halfway between Killington and Rutland - only a 15 min drive to each. The rooms are cozy, warm, and very well kept. There is plenty of space in the huge, gorgeous main house: tons of board games, comfy couches and fireplaces. It was like having a huge living room right off our bedroom. We loved the many tasty snacks that were different each evening (fresh baked chocolate chip cookies! Apple pie! Bare banana chips!) well as the excellent breakfast spread (yogurt! lots of fresh fruit! waffles! cherry turnovers!) Hot tub was large enough for 8 and felt great after a day of skiing. Also loved being able to travel with our dog, and the many places to walk him around the Inn. Our family of four plus dog fit very comfortably in one suite. Highly recommend the Red Clover Inn to anyone looking for a great b&b near Killington!

Great stay at Red Clover Inn

Red Clover Inn is in a great location!! Close to skiing, hiking and restaurants. The bed in our room was extremely comfortable. There was also a hot tub and a game room if you need a break from the slopes. The staff was very friendly and their breakfast was delicious! Venetia, the owner, gave us a lot of great recommendations. Our dog loved his stay as well and there were lots of nearby walking trails. We would stay here again in the future!!

Lovely country Inn with all modern amenities. Beautiful grounds and views.

We were graciously welcomed by the owner the evening we arrived. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and quiet and decorated in the style of a Vermont country inn. The breakfasts were a good start to our day, which included yogurt, bagels, fresh fruit and coffee and juice, served in a large common area. The staff was friendly and available. This is a cozy place to get away from it all. We were able to easily visit Vermont to see the leaves changing as it is close to Rutland and the surrounding countryside. Nearby was a sugar shack for maple syrup and Plymouth Notch, historical home of Calvin Coolidge. We hope to stay here again when we visit Vermont.
