We just returned home from an amazing overnight stay at Milliken Creek Inn & Spa, and it truly exceeded our expectations. We were visiting Napa to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and even though the rain put a bit of a pause on our plans, the experience at the Milliken more than made up for it. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. Upon arrival we were greeted by Latrice in the lobby. She checked us in was incredibly personable and welcoming, with great communication throughout. She went above and beyond by upgrading us to the Cedar room with a soaking tub, which made the stay feel even more special. After checking out of our previous accommodations on a rainy morning, we were so appreciative that our room was ready before 11 AM. The staff also surprised us with slice of cheesecake and a handwritten birthday card sent to our room, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. It really made the celebration feel extra special. The room itself was beautiful, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was comfortable, the shower pressure was great, and the soaking tub was a perfect way for us to relax. Although it was raining, the balcony view was really nice. Every detail felt intentional and really elevated the overall experience. We also really enjoyed the wine and cheese hour in the lobby. It was such a welcoming way to unwind and added to the overall charm of the stay. Breakfast, which was included in the stay, was made to order and so delicious. It was the perfect way to start the morning and added even more value to the experience. Overall, it was a relaxing, comfortable, and memorable stay. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend Milliken Creek Inn & Spa for anyone looking for a peaceful Napa getaway. And again, Latrice was amazing and truly heaven sent. Thank you for everything!

Our most recent stay in March 2026 was disappointing compared to previous stays at the property. The Inn has always been more expensive than other choices in Napa but the charming rooms, riverside setting and high touch service were worth returning many times over the years. The drawbacks: road noise, dangerous exit and entrance to the Inn’s parking lot were offset by the charm and attentiveness of the front desk staff, as well as the delicious breakfasts. We found it to be now a VRBO class accommodation at twice the price. The breakfast, ordered through an in room ipad like device with a clunky interface, was neither accommodating nor hot. When we requested at the front desk some toast, the person who said she had been there only a few months was unsure if it was possible and the toast was lukewarm when finally delivered with prepackaged strawberry jam. The Holiday Inn in lobby-breakfast at least has toast that you make yourself and is hot. Why not provide a toaster to the guest as hotels at this price point often do? Our room ventilation was inadequate and several inquiries of the front desk did not remedy the 80 degree room temperature. When we were disturbed on our first morning by the noise and room vibration of a jack hammer in the room we were not offered any accommodation. Better management with better informed and empowered staff would go a long way to remedying the deficiencies. We will find other high end accommodations for our future visits to Napa.

Fantastic experience. The staff was as friendly and helpful as I’ve ever encountered. Our room was really nice. The breakfast was really nice as well.

Fantastic, beautiful inn located so close to downtown Napa. Beautiful location right on the river, and lovely grounds. Robert and his staff were exceptional, and truly made the experience one where we could just worry about being on vacation and having a great time and nothing else. They were genuine, helpful, and professional. We were also lucky to experience an upgrade to our room, which was a nice surprise. Overall, cannot recommend this place enough. First time we'd stayed in a small, boutique like hotel like this. The interactions and amenities were well worth it. Looking forward to our next trip, whenever that is!

From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed!! The place looks just like the photos - it’s beautiful! They have complimentary wine tasting at 5pm daily, complimentary port for evening by the fire. A fire in the room. A fire on the patio, a fire in reception, fire everywhere. It’s just perfect! Would definitely return if near Napa again. Thank you. 🙏🏼
