Stayed in the Chester Suite—lovely view. Peaceful, quiet. Sat out on the balcony watching the moonlight reflecting on the water over Long Island Sound and the marina yachts. Friendly and helpful staff. Recommend!

We came to CT to see my Mom @ Essex Meadow's Nursing Center, as well as my Sister & Family living nearby, hoping to make our trip a special one for my Husband & I, too, needing a nice getaway for ourselves, with life always being so busy!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Saybrook Point Resort - everyone was so friendly, the Room was amazing, the scenery was even better and the weather couldn't have been nicer - it was all we'd hoped for, we hated to leave!! We could have used a few more days just for ourselves @ Saybrook. We'll definitely be back again!! Thank You, Thank You!!

Clean, efficient, friendly, and accommodating. Breakfast was great although it could have started earlier. Coffie in the lobby also should be earlier if restaurant not open

Everything about the resort was 5 star. Every one of the staff was pleasant and helpful. The food was delicious. The location - perfect. my only complaint is that the pool and area needed to be bigger !

We just returned from a three-day trip to Saybrook Point with three other couples; this has become somewhat of an annual tradition-- a wonderful, if short, vacation to reconnect with good friends, relax, and enjoy the Connecticut shore. Saybrook Point is the perfect spot! The people (including Chris, the General Manager, and Casey, the Guest Relations Manager) are warm and welcoming; the location of the Resort is stunning and perfect, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The Connecticut shoreline area is filled with great things to see and do-- there are numerous nearby towns with charm and appeal (like Madison, Mystic, Essex and others), lots of great restaurants in the area (we particularly enjoy returning to The Essex in Old Saybrook), there's no place better for long walks than nearby Fenwick, and it's just a relaxing and special area. My only small nit is that the Resort is so popular (with small conference groups as well as guests) that it's often hard to find an area by the outdoor bar to just sit and have a drink-- those areas were blocked by private events on both nights of our stay-- but overall, it's a great spot for this sort of trip. In addition, the Resort has privileges at the nearby Fox Hopyard golf course, which is a great course-- fun, challenging, scenic. This is our fourth or fifth trip to the Resort, and hopefully we'll return in the future.

The Saybrook Point Inn and Spa was romantic and absolutely beautiful (even in the dead of winter). The staff attended to every desire, and the spa treatments were marvelous and soooo relaxing. I highly recommend facial and massage as well as the mud body wrap.

It was a lovely getaway at the Saybrook Point Inn & Spa. As we arrived for our serious pampering, I could feel the tension leave...

If you are looking for a romantic place with a spectacular water view - then the Saybrook Point Inn in Old Saybrook, CT is the place for you. We had a lovely sitting area with a balcony for enjoying the sunset water view and a working fireplace. Excellent staff and the hotel was immaculate. In any season the Saybrook Point Inn is fabulous.
