Saybrook Point Resort & Marina

Every aspect of our stay was superb. We stayed in the Chester suite. Incredible amount of space. Super comfortable bed. Large living room where we met up with our friends after dinner every night. The shower pressure was wonderfully intense. We had dinner at the resort both nights that we stayed. The food was superb and the waitstaff was professional and friendly. The wine list had great selections at every price point. Our breakfast...at the same restaurant.... had great selections and was delicious. We had a rainy weekend so we stayed inside at the pool. Very comfortable with plenty of chairs and perfect water temperature. We will absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed the cozy room with the fireplace and the friendly service. Gerard was the worker who came to our room to light the fireplace. He was delightful to talk to and offered us much information about the area. The high quality of the service and the comfort, cleanliness and elegance of the room is what will bring us back!

Saybrook Point is an exceptional Resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and efficient in checking us in. We booked a Deluxe King Water View room. It was absolutely wonderful. Spacious, clean, tastefully decorated. Enough furniture to make it very comfortable for two people. There was a bar area, with a small refrigerator, stocked with a variety of beverages. A coffee maker and large mugs were also provided. There were some nice snacks for purchase. The balcony overlooking the marina was a plus. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the amenities provided were excellent. Towels were plush and absorbent. The resort itself has an on-site spa and health club which are included as part of your room reservation. The pools are wonderful. The indoor pool is large and heated to a perfect temperature. There is a Sauna and Steam room. There is also a heated outdoor pool which was great for doing laps each day. These facilities were excellent. There is a restaurant, on site, Fresh Salt, where we had a delicious breakfast. Everything about this resort is wonderful. The location is beautiful. My husband and I hope to return there another time. It really is a perfect getaway.

- 20 resort fees per day unexpectedly added at check-out - Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 11am, no justification for charging full day, and getting 5 hours taken away from it, even during the pandemic it would have been an egregious policy

I absolutely loved it. The beds are so comfortable and our room and bathroom was immaculate. Food is excellent. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the pool situation. Very crowded and not that big. You have old timers that go there from the morning and don’t leave. Good place to go just for brunch. It’s amazing
