Perhaps best described as a combination of the architectural styles of Gaudi and Frank Lloyd Wright, Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Plantation & Inn is one of Costa Rica's preeminent boutique properties. This eco-friendly hotel rises gracefully above the beautiful Central Valley and offers striking views of the area's volcanoes, cloud forests and coffee plantations. It is renowned for its fine cuisine and elegant four-course dinners, creatively prepared from the bounty of its orchards and organic gardens.

Our stay at the Finca Rosa Blanca was fabulous. The hotel building is a stunning, Gaudi inspired work of art itself, and is beautifully decorated with original works of art, hand painted murals and beautiful tile. Every detail is unique! My room was the top floor bedroom of the Blanca Rosa suite and it had panoramic views of the property and the city. The restaurant was lovely, outdoors but covered, and the food was excellent. The service was also excellent. We enjoyed the coffee the next morning in our room and had another delicious meal at breakfast before attending a very thorough and interesting tour of the coffee plantation. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and we learned a lot! I would have loved to stay another night but our itinerary was set. Transportation to and from the airport to the hotel was super easy and door to door service. This is a one of a kind hotel that should not be missed!

A nice room but breakfast was very slow. Other meals OK but not great. The staff though were good and friendly. Lovely views as well.

Rooms: pictures in Tripadvisor do not do justice to their beautiful wall paintings or to the amazing views over the valley Comfort level, please be aware that their is no air conditioning or heating for the colder nights. No Television either. Furniture is need of some updates. Although nice I would recommend some refurbishment and improvement to the expected amenities. Restaurant: the food is ok, the star are the amazing views Coffee Tour: this is a small organic coffee finca, therefore you will be shown the traditional method of coffee production We only stayed for one night prior to our departure flight from Costa Rica and it was a great way to finish our trip. For longer stays I would except a greater level of comfort in accommodation. Overall recommended for short stays

Come for the incredible rooms – skip the pretentious restaurant! The Finca Rosa Suite blew us away (book it directly!). You sleep at the very top of the iconic white tower, and the bathroom/bathtub feels like stepping into a giant mural – absolutely stunning. The restaurant, however, was a total let down. Lunch on day one was a dried out overpriced burger and for both dinners they were out of several menu options. The “breakfast boxes” (for early tours) were laughable, and despite reserving one of the four coveted open-air tables with city views, they gave it away when we returned from a day trip that they recommended. We ended up ordering Italian via Uber Eats and eating on our private lower patio – way better. Verdict: Stay for the jaw-dropping suite, skip the restaurant, and note that the property is quite far from the airport (especially in rush hour).

Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Farm and Inn truly embodies the beautiful spirit and rich culture of Costa Rica. Nestled in the midst of an organic coffee farm high in the hills of the Central Valley, Finca Rosa Blanca exudes local charm and artistry in every detail, from the graceful, curved architecture to the finely crafted coffee served every morning and afternoon. My family stayed here 25 years ago, and we returned to find it every bit as memorable and lovely. As women traveling alone, we felt extremely safe and well cared for from the moment we arrived. We had two rooms that joined together to make a comfortable family villa and home away from home to explore the countryside. The villa was exceptionally clean and well tended, with so many pretty details in every room and full of thoughtful touches including an electric kettle, mini fridge, french press, and delicious chocolates each night. The beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms have lovely decor and luxurious jetted tubs for a relaxing soak. The pool, with a wonderful waterfall and surrounded by lush foliage, was a crystal clean delight. The grounds are incredibly beautiful, with trees, flowers, birds, and wildlife, and are fun to explore, including visiting the happy hens which provide fresh eggs for the scrumptious breakfasts each morning. Be sure to enjoy the delicious complimentary afternoon coffee (grown on the farm) and fresh cookies. A relaxing treat! The gracious staff were all very friendly, attentive, and helpful, and even worked overtime to ship my phone back to me that I left in the room when we departed. Thank you very much, Ed! We appreciated your kindness and hospitality throughout our stay so much! The housekeeping staff was so friendly and attentive, and our server Andrea made every breakfast delightful. The Inn is convenient to many attractions. We particularly enjoyed La Paz Waterfall Gardens and exploring the towns of Grecia and Sarchi. It is not hard to see why Finca Rosa Blanca is one of the National Geographic “Unique Lodges of the World”. Unlike being hurried off to a bustling, impersonal resort, this is authentic Costa Rica, where the beautiful culture, friendly staff, and gorgeous property come together to showcase the very essence of “Pura Vida!” I cannot recommend it enough!

Our trip to Costa Rica was especially memorable - Finca Rosa Blanca was beautiful. The perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful interior of Costa Rica. The food was outstanding, and it was wonderful to dine and meet the other people who were staying there. The guest rooms and pool were also very welcoming and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Finca Rosa Blanca.

Our first trip to Costa Rica was to the magnificent, elegant property called Finca Rosa Blanca. We were given great attention by their lovely staff, enjoyed organic and fresh cuisine by their on-site chef and relaxed on the grounds of an amazingly lush gated property. We were so taken with the experience that we purchased the same trip to return the following year!

We stayed in Costa Rica at Finca Rosa Blanca, and the experience provided us with a top-notch hotel room, unique and elegant, with added benefits like spa treatments, horseback riding, dinners with wine and so much more. With the quality of the facilities and the courtesy of the staff, every effort was always made to welcome us.

My brother and I had the pleasure of staying at Finca Rosa Blanca Country Inn in May. From the moment we stepped on the property we were treated not only as guest of the hotel, but also as a part of the Finca family. Our every need was addressed or taken care of with exemplary service. The room was very clean and the food was absolutely delectable. I plan to visit this resort again and again and again. We had a WONDERFUL time. From now on, I will utilize Luxury Link to make all of my travel arrangements. This visit proved that they recommend only the BEST!
