Beautiful, relaxing, and enriching

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

My wife and I had a delightful time. Fresh delicious coffee and food, engaging tours (we did coffee and birdwatching), on a beautiful property. We wished we had stayed longer to enjoy our time — well worth adding a few days to your trip to stay here

Beautiful hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

We stayed at this amazing hotel for our first two nights in Costa RIca. Tired from our long flight, we were immediately uplifted when we went through the gates into this small boutique hotel. Our rooms were incredible! Large enough for several couples, really well equipped with fresh coffee and water, huge shower and such a comfy bed. The bar and restaurant area were intimate without being too close to other people, the food freshly cooked and delicious and friendly and smiley staff. We can thoroughly recommend the coffee tour (about 2 hours with a bit of an uphill climb) followed by a tasting and then cookies made with coffee bean flour - delicious! Nice pool (although not a huge number of sun loungers) and if you get a chance check out the poly tunnel where they grow all the fresh herbs and lettuces hung from the ceiling - genius! Lush gardens and lots of wildlife.

Great find!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Visited the Finca for the first night of our Costa Rica hol after an extremely delayed flight. In retrospect we would have liked to stay longer. Reasons: Our room, Aves, was great, very quirky. Lovely comfy huge bed, big bathroom with jacuzzi bath and separate shower, great towels. The fridge, which was a bit noisy, had the usual over priced drinks but also real milk, not often found. Coffee from their organic farm, just across the road and well worth a tour, was a bonus. Outside we had a little private garden with seating and a hot tub, fab!! Because the Finca stands in a huge garden, great to walk around and full of lovely plants, we saw and heard some of the local bird life. Food. Breakfast was included, GREAT! Local produce, local dishes. We also ate lunch and dinner, no faults to find. Staff. As good as all the above. Finally we found, just as we were leaving, their information booklet which included lots of available visits and activities that they could book for you, hence why we would like to have stayed longer. This is a longer than usual review but I hope it proves useful because I can't recommend the Finca more highly, wish it wasn't so far away!!!!

Luxury lodge in sustainable forest coffee plantation in San Jose’s suburbs. Perfect to decompress after a long flight

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

In Santa Barbara, this sustainable forest coffee plantation lodge is a gem and a haven of tranquility just in the outskirts of the bustling San Jose. This is a great place to decompress for a night or two after travelling in to Costa Rica. Traditional Costa Rican food, coffee and a warm welcome are waiting for you. All suites are individually decorated in a hacienda style and feature fantastic views of the plantation and of San Jose. Elegantly decorated with extra touches like hand painted tiles, ground coffee from its own plantation, local hardwood furniture and handmade mascaradas. The hotel offers an excellent tour of its coffee plantation which is more like a wildlife and sustainability tour. It’s followed by a coffee ‘cupping’ to sample the goods. We also took advantage of a tour to San Jose and its museums, exploring how Costa Rica came into being and what brought the country to its decision to disband its army. The pool area is tranquil and relaxed with great views and enchanting bird life. Much of the food is locally sourced (if not from its own gardens) but expect meals to be interrupted as the restaurant is outdoors and you’ll want to watch the birds.

Our trip to Costa Rica was especially memorable - Finca Rosa Blanca was beautiful. The perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful interior of Costa Rica. The food was outstanding, and it was wonderful to dine and meet the other people who were staying there. The guest rooms and pool were also very welcoming and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Finca Rosa Blanca.

Our first trip to Costa Rica was to the magnificent, elegant property called Finca Rosa Blanca. We were given great attention by their lovely staff, enjoyed organic and fresh cuisine by their on-site chef and relaxed on the grounds of an amazingly lush gated property. We were so taken with the experience that we purchased the same trip to return the following year!

We stayed in Costa Rica at Finca Rosa Blanca, and the experience provided us with a top-notch hotel room, unique and elegant, with added benefits like spa treatments, horseback riding, dinners with wine and so much more. With the quality of the facilities and the courtesy of the staff, every effort was always made to welcome us.

My brother and I had the pleasure of staying at Finca Rosa Blanca Country Inn in May. From the moment we stepped on the property we were treated not only as guest of the hotel, but also as a part of the Finca family. Our every need was addressed or taken care of with exemplary service. The room was very clean and the food was absolutely delectable. I plan to visit this resort again and again and again. We had a WONDERFUL time. From now on, I will utilize Luxury Link to make all of my travel arrangements. This visit proved that they recommend only the BEST!
