Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Plantation & Inn

our first 2 nights in costa rica and a wonderful place to start Super food and staff and so comfortable rooms it was a great syart to 18 days of paradise in the country Very quiet lovely pool and lots of wildlife

This was our last stop on the trip! A great way to end our stay in Costa Rica and 25 minutes from the airport. We did the coffee tour, a fun way learn more about coffee and grow your appreciation for each cup. Afterwards you’ll have coffee and a cookie made from the cherries of the coffee tree. The room was adorable, and they made it extra special for my birthday by decorating. 😊 We spent the evening at the hotel bar with Sebastian making delicious drinks!

The absolute best part of our stay was due to three employees; Simon, Front desk, Luis and Sebastian, servers. Unbelievable attention to quality and customer service. Simon was extremely helpful and arranged for all we needed, even before arrival, including airport transfer, birthday treat for my husband and rental car drop-off. Luis and Sebastian have the biggest and kindest hearts. Excellent service at all meals and Luis even took the time and effort to pick us up a meal for our early departure which was incredible. I travel to Costa Rica frequently and this is of my top place to stay in and around the airport and Heredia in general.

This is a good option for a stay the night before or after a flight. The grounds are lush and beautiful, offering a charming alternative to a typical city or airport hotel. While the facilities are somewhat dated, the property exudes the character and artistic flair of its owners, showcased through the unique architecture and eclectic artworks. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and carry a certain 1980s glamour. We especially enjoyed the tour of the coffee plantation and the coffee cupping experience. You can genuinely feel the owners’ love and passion for this place — it’s a privilege to get a glimpse into the world they have created here. Although we didn’t enjoy the food as much as some other reviewers, the service was excellent.

Absolutely incredible experience staying at Hotel Finca Rosa Blanca for 3 nights in mid-April! From the moment we arrived at the hotel we felt taken care of. We arrived in the afternoon and were greeted with coffee and cookies. We had lunch and dinner at the hotel that day and the food was amazing - a lot of it is grown in the local garden! The next day we had a birdwatching tour and the coffee farm tour with Ulises, do NOT miss these, they were so incredible and he is an extremely knowledgable tour guide!! Finally, the last day I last-minute wanted to visit the spa and they were able to accommodate me. All in all, a truly top-notch customer service and hospitality experience, would absolutely recommend!!
