My husband spent 2 nights here in order to go skiing at Sugarbush. It was a bitterly cold weekend and lots of snow on the ground. The inn over all seemed very quiet. i dont know if winter is an off season but there were only a handful of other guests there and it was very quiet. we had the terrace room which is the only room downstairs. it is located next to a game room with a pool table, a tv, a little counter/sink area with a refrigerator and coffee maker. theres also a lot of books, a checkers table, and a big cozy couch. we never saw anyone using this room and felt like we had the whole downstairs to ourselves. our room was right next to it. the room was very spacious and quaint. a VERY TALL bed was in it (thankfully with a stepstool) and what i believe is called a trundle bed as well. there was two chairs and an electric fire place. there was no tv, microwave, frig, or coffee maker in the room but literally directly outside our room in the game room was all of those things. there was also a small walk in closet that had robes in it. I will say, though it didnt matter to us and no one ever used it, the bathroom for the game room shared a wall with our room and that felt a little weird but again we never saw anyone in the game room. Everything in the room was clean and in working order and we enjoyed it. my two tiny little notes are in the bathroom the way the door opened you couldnt really stand in front of the sink without the door basically jammed into your back. Also the fire place was nice but if you wanted it on the setting where it actually threw off heat it was very loud and rattly. If you just wanted it on for ambience it was not loud. The bathroom also had a pretty deep tub which I used after a day of skiing and it was GLORIOUS. We did not go to breakfast our first day as we were out of the inn pretty early to go skiing. The second day we were heading to the slopes a little later (it was literally -9 degrees out) so we stopped in to get some coffee. The hosts we very friendly and offered food to us. We took the apricot scones they gave us and omg i dont know what kind of witch craft went into these scones but they were the best scones ive ever eaten. they told us they were making eggs benedict for breakfast and we declined so they offered to make us whatever version of eggs we wanted. I said i was a vegan and I was totally fine with the coffee and scone. we noticed (but didnt use since we were skiing all weekend and also it was super cold) that they also had snow shoes available in the inn. The inn i believe was about 15-20 minutes away from Sugarbush and was a great home base for our weekend. it's even closer to a little village area and a covered bridge. if we had spent more time i would have explored the little village but we were only there about 2 days. Lawson's Finest Liquids brewery is about 5-10 minutes away and was a fun place to go have dinner and some drinks. we would definitely stay here again if we found ourselves back in the area.

My daughter and her now husband just had the most amazing magical experience at the round barn. And both the groom and the brides family stayed at the Inn. The rooms were whimsical and elegant and the morning breakfasts were incredible. Both Kim, the owner, and Ashley, the Innkeeper, made us feel so comfortable and pampered. We didn’t want to leave!

Ashley was the best Inn Keeper and an amazing breakfast cook! We loved our experience, our breakfast, and the Inn was super charming, welcoming, and one of our favorites that we have stayed in. We will definitely be back! We loved every moment there.

This is my second time at this location. It's one of my favorites. It is very clean and neat and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are very nice and it is a great way to relax and unwind in the mountains of the Vermont countryside. The breakfast each morning was fantastic and the atmosphere is very cheerful. We met the manager and the owner of the location and they were both very friendly, informative, and courteous. I highly recommend this location for anyone really wanting to experience quiet country living while staying at an A+ location.

Our 3 night stay couldn't have been more perfect! We packed up the family and off we drove from New York to Vermont for private, uninterrupted family time. While there, we had an absolute blast skiing, enjoying GREAT food and comfortable-as-home accommodations. Our goal was to enjoy each other, relax and have fun, and we did! The Inn at Round Barn Farm was exactly where we needed to be, and offered everything necessary to guarantee lasting memories for all of us. We've dragged our kids all over the country and across the world. THIS is where they remember having the most laughs! Thanks so much! We'll be back!
