WARNING ! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE Hotel cancelled our room last minute
WARNING! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE. My husband and I planned a decade birthday weekend for 2 in Cambria centered around our premier ocean view suite at White water ( $1000/night). We booked directly on their site, then were directed to Hotels 1 for final booking. We had a confirmed and paid contract then less than 48 hrs before our trip were told that our reservation was cancelled! That "hotel over overbooked" . At that last notice there were no other comparable accommodations available anywhere in Cambria. We had to cancel the entire trip. Other than a "we're sorry" there were no concessions made by this hotel nor an offer to even try for other dates. We were saddened and outraged. Will never attempt to book this hotel again.

Great little lodge!
We had a great stay at the White Water and would recommend it! Service was excellent. The morning basket provided with coffee and pastries was excellent. This is a small boutique hotel, so dont expect a full service resort, but frankly that was part of the appeal. Super clean room and grounds. Front desk was extremely friendly and helpful.

Absolutely fabulous. Luis was super helpful when our Kauai trip fell through and we needed a place to stay in California. Everything about this place was beautiful with the ocean just across the street. The breakfast basket with muffins and mimosas was decadent. We played cornhole and rode their bikes to town for brunch. Everywhere we looked in the room showed an attention to detail and we will be back.

A glimpse into heaven
My best friend & I stayed at White Water Lodge to celebrate turning 70. Our experience was incredible. Luis and Leah who worked at the front desk and interacted with us were incredible. We enjoyed a wonderful charcuterie board with a glass of wine our first evening as we were tired from travel. Both were so helpful with any questions we had. The basket of pastries, coffee thermos, OJ, and champagne delivered every morning in a basket-how special. The location on Moonstone Beach incredible. I think this is the BEST lodge on Moonstone Beach-hands down. Loved every moment....on our last evening we enjoyed s'mores on the fire pits in front of the lodge...honestly, there are no words adequate to describe this place. Magical, inspiring...one of the most special experiences of my life! Your won't be disappointed.!
