A Perfect Family Getaway in Carmel Valley
We stayed at Quail Lodge to celebrate our daughter’s kindergarten graduation and had such a wonderful experience. The location was perfect for us—close to Carmel-by-the-Sea and Pebble Beach—and the dog-friendly suites were spacious and comfortable. Our daughter loved the scavenger hunt, mini golf, and nightly s’mores, while we enjoyed the pool, steam rooms, and wine hour. The grounds are expansive and beautifully maintained, and we really appreciated how family-friendly the property felt. What impressed us most was the service. When we had a flat tire at checkout, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and back on the road safely. Between the beautiful setting, fun activities, and exceptional hospitality, we can’t wait to come back!

We had a really nice room. The people at the front desk were very helpful. Pool area is quite nice. Enjoyed complimentary wine in the afternoon.

8 stays and it’s still our favorite relaxing getaway!
This was our 8th visit to The Quail Lodge Resort, and it’s easy to see why we keep coming back! From the moment we arrive, the customer service is always exceptional—staff members are friendly, attentive, and make us feel right at home. The resort’s atmosphere is calm, peaceful, and perfect for truly unwinding. The spa services are wonderful and leave us feeling completely refreshed every time. We also love the fun 9-hole putting course—it’s such a great way to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Each visit reminds us why this is one of our favorite places to escape. The combination of excellent service, a relaxing environment, and enjoyable amenities makes The Quail Lodge Resort a true gem. We’re already looking forward to our next stay!

I believe they need new photos for the website because the rooms are exceed the photo by a mile. The staff the food the location all exceeded all expectations! The perfect weather the perfect views the breathtaking scenery we’re all contributory to the experience then add the value !! 1000000 stars. ! We will be back!

A Perfect Vacation at The Quail
My husband and I stayed at The Quail this last August and had the best vacation in this magnificent resort! When we got there we were generously upgraded to the Deluxe Suit which has a wide bay window that we both loved, a view of the golf course, and a beautiful patio. The room was full of light and very comfortable. We spent time at the pool - the water was warm and so nice to swim in. I loved it. We took e-bikes and rode along the golf course road and into the park at the end of it. We took long walks every day and watched the golfers. My husband wanted to play pickleball but that did not work out. We drove to Monterey to see the sea lions, 500 of them came to visit. We ate in great restaurants, in and out of the resort, and visited some local wineries. We enjoyed the weather and the location. I very highly recommend The Quail to golfers and non-golfers alike.
