Wonderful resort!
The resort is beautiful in a choice location. The rooms are well appointed, service outstanding and food exceptional. Amenities include a gorgeous golf course, remote motor boats, and fun 9 hole putting range. The fitness center and pool are well-equipped and relaxing.

Perfect Getaway Near Big Sur
Beautiful property, top notch service and a very attentive staff. The lodge is very close to downtown Carmel-by-the-sea, and several shops/restaurants. Hotel pool was heated with a great fitness center. Rooms were very clean and spacious, our family will definitely be back!

Golf Get Away
I had an amazing stay at this hotel, and the highlight was definitely the incredible golf experience! From the moment I arrived, everything was top-notch — the staff were friendly and professional, the check-in process was smooth, and the accommodations were both elegant and comfortable. The golf course was absolutely stunning — beautifully maintained greens, scenic views, and a layout that was both challenging and enjoyable for all skill levels. Tee times were easy to book, and the staff at the course were just as welcoming and helpful as those at the hotel. They even offered helpful tips and local insights that made the rounds even more enjoyable. After golfing, it was great to relax in the hotel’s serene environment, enjoy a delicious meal at the on-site restaurant, and wind down in a cozy, well-appointed room. Everything about this stay felt thoughtfully curated for relaxation and recreation. If you’re looking for a perfect blend of comfort and world-class golf, this is the place. I can’t wait to come back for another round (or two)!

Spiders in the rooms.
I recently stayed at this resort and was extremely disappointed with the condition of my room. At around 3 a.m., I was startled awake by something crawling on my face. At first, I thought I was dreaming, but unfortunately, it was very real—a spider. When I reported this incident to the front desk, the staff member simply apologized and explained that the pest control spraying cycle had ended and would need to be repeated. I found this response to be both unprofessional and lacking in responsibility. Later, when I reached out via text, the staff apologized again and offered an upgrade for a future stay. While this gesture was appreciated, it does not make up for the sleepless night we endured, and I am not inclined to risk another vacation being ruined. I expected much higher standards of cleanliness and customer service from a resort of this caliber. I sincerely hope management addresses these issues so that future guests do not have a similar experience. Until improvements are made to pest control and staff training, I cannot recommend staying here.

Best Place to Stay in Carmel!
The Quail Lodge was one of the most amazing places to stay for our family! From the outstanding customer service to the quality of the food, The Quail Lodge exceeded all of our expectations. The staff here really went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Any issues were quickly addressed, and the rooms were very nice and clean! I highly recommend this resort for families and couples who want to get away and relax!
