Great place and the leaf peeping on the way from Denver to Gateway was incredible. You need to continue the roadtrip to Telluride for a day.

Amazing property & the staff there is TOP notch. I would definitely check out the Adventure Center and rent vehicles to explore the area! Dylan from the Adventure Center is Awesome!

Other than a shortage of front desk and wait staff several times (they house most employees on site due to remote location) this place is enchanting. All staff members were happy, helpful and courteous. They are obviously trained or experienced. You can tell no expense was spared when constructed. It's spread out and very relaxing with unmatched surroundings. A few things slightly dated for a discerning eye but everything clean and grounds well maintained.

From Check-in to a final breakfast, everything was perfect. The hotel has quality furnishings and a great staff. Just a huge pleasure to spend free time here.

We attended a wedding here, and didn’t know much about the resort in advance. The location is incredible, but the warm hospitality of the staff is really what made our experience. There are tons of activities to participate in, or you can relax at the spa or pools. I will definitely return!

I'm a fifth-generation Coloradan, am a stalwart fan of Gate Gateway Canyons for multiple reasons, and this year's visit was the 5th year for our family. The first included my father and his nurse/companion when Gateway was just being built. Every time we go, I am further impressed with the integrity with which this vision was conceived and is being carried out. I speak with staff when I visit and every single staff member is consistent: The place is wonderful, the seasonal activities are fun, and they love the area and the vision for Gateway. All this by way of saying that I truly appreciate the hard work and emphasis on a private yet comprehensive experience on the Dolores near the Colorado Plateau.

I just wanted to take a minute to write about what a wonderful facility Gateway Canyons is. The accommodations were beautiful, food was fantastic and the staff was great to work with. We received an informative tour of the museum and they even helped us find the game in the Kiva Café Sunday morning. We told ourselves we would get up there from the day I toured with the VCB and it just didn't happen. I'm sorry we waited so long but it was well worth it. I'm glad to see the project continuing to grow given the economy. Thank you again for a fabulous getaway!
