Unforgettable Honeymoon in a Red Rock Oasis — Incredible Dining & Hospitality! My wife and I spent 5 nights in early October for our honeymoon at Gateway Canyons Resort and Spa, and it was a wonderful getaway. Nestled in a breathtaking high-desert canyon with gorgeous surroundings and impressive architecture, the resort provides an ideal setting for relaxation. Location & Stunning Scenery The location itself is part of the magic. The drive into the resort through the canyon on Highway 141 was absolutely beautiful, and the resort's proximity to sights like the Hanging Flume overlook provided incredible scenery and fascinating local history right in our backyard. Accommodations & Patio We stayed in a Kayenta Signature King Suite, which came with a private patio featuring a fire pit and hot tub. Given the warm high-desert autumn weather, we saved the fire pit for our last night when temperatures finally cooled down, and it was a lovely addition. We also used the hot tub a couple of times; while it ran quite hot for the warm afternoon temps and one of the jets was fairly noisy/obnoxious, having that secluded private space right off our room was still a nice perk. Impeccable Hospitality & Service What truly set our stay apart was the outstanding staff. Upon arrival, we were touched to find a thoughtful congratulatory card in our room for our honeymoon. Our housekeeper, Kelia, went above and beyond every single day, leaving specially folded towels and flower petals on our bed each night. Additionally, the resort’s text messaging service made communicating effortless—the team was always prompt, responsive, and quick to fulfill requests or answer questions. Dining, Spa & Amenities • Dining & Dietary Coordination: A special shout-out to Ryan, the Food and Beverage Director, who was extremely helpful both before and during our stay in answering our questions and seamlessly coordinating my wife’s dietary restrictions. The food at Paradox Grille was extraordinary! My wife and I are still debating whether the Lamburger or the Wagyu Bacon Burger was the best burger we’ve ever eaten. A huge thank you to Chef Jacob, who arranged a magnificent semi-private dining experience for us on a breezeway balcony on our third night—the views of the surrounding canyons and cliffs were stunning. Our servers Hayden, Fred, and Melba were consistently warm, attentive, and incredibly hospitable. • Spa & Pool: We booked an 80-minute massage at the spa, and it was so relaxing that we only wished we had scheduled a second one. We also spent time at the pool every afternoon, which was the perfect way to cool off after short hikes and unwind in the sun. Property Condition & Final Thoughts The property is showing a bit of age in places—we noticed minor wear inside our suite, a few missing tiles in small areas around the pool, and some cracking stucco on exterior structures here and there. However, these minor cosmetic details did not take away from how special and beautiful our overall experience was. If you are looking for stunning canyon views, superb dining, and exceptional customer service, Gateway Canyons is a fantastic choice. We left with amazing memories and hope to return!

My wife and i along with our good friends (couple ) just returned from a two night stay at this wonderful resort. Each and everyone of the staff that we encountered were wonderful fron Ryan the Mgr, our pool bartender Matt, our waitress Alaina and Melva, Venessa at the front desk and many others went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The resort sits on a beautiful piece of land and is immaculately cared for. We stayed in a spacious well appointed casita which felt super comfortable. There are tons of activities offered, however staying only two days we opted to hang at the pool and leverage the spa. Thanks for a great say we will return.

A fairly remote GEM of a property, tucked away amidst Mountain splendor, and nearby National Parks of Utah. Driving route #141 from Grand Junction, CO , southwest to Gateway, CO, was absolutely gorgeous, and a highlight in and of itself. A quiet and peaceful resort and spa.

This resort has become outdated and in bad need of refresh. I contacted manager about several issue during stay and received NO response. The EV charger only works on Tesla NOT other EV's. I explained to maintenance and security and asked that they update website with correct information and they did NOTHING. This hotel is 50 miles from other towns so accurate information about your place is extremely important

Wonderful place, people and location, The staff is incredibly nice and outgoing. Really unique location that is set in a beautiful area.
