Off the beaten path - Luxury meets the great outdoors - One of a Kind place.
This place is enchanted. 360 views of beautiful red rocks and the Palisade rock formation right outside the door of Gateway Canyons. We’ve been here 5 times, and come back every year. The Casitas are luxurious and the decor is beautiful. The Stargazer is by far the most lovely. We stayed one year and still by far one of the nicest resort rooms we’ve stayed at. The staff is attentive. The grounds are beautiful with hiking trails right outside your door. Pool amazing for lounging. Perfect place to relax. Lots of families and kids. If you’re looking for true off the beaten path, luxury meets outdoors, Gateway Canyons delivers. Tip: try to take a side by side tour up to Dolores Point, is special and memorable.

Gorgeous property, very nice sauna and steam room for free. The restaurants food is amazing, the only setback was that the bathrooms and gym should be renovated.

A must stay!
Honestly 10/10, no notes. A must stay if you are in Western Colorado. Very close to a lot of national parks and the staff is so friendly and professional. You will be amazed at the property and the views. Plenty of activities to do while on property. The perfect place to unwind and get away!

Best Wedding location !
We had the most magical wedding at Gateway Canyons. Everything was perfect. The staff was incredible and Holly was so great to work with. Thank you to the entire team for making our special day so memorable.

I'm a fifth-generation Coloradan, am a stalwart fan of Gate Gateway Canyons for multiple reasons, and this year's visit was the 5th year for our family. The first included my father and his nurse/companion when Gateway was just being built. Every time we go, I am further impressed with the integrity with which this vision was conceived and is being carried out. I speak with staff when I visit and every single staff member is consistent: The place is wonderful, the seasonal activities are fun, and they love the area and the vision for Gateway. All this by way of saying that I truly appreciate the hard work and emphasis on a private yet comprehensive experience on the Dolores near the Colorado Plateau.

I just wanted to take a minute to write about what a wonderful facility Gateway Canyons is. The accommodations were beautiful, food was fantastic and the staff was great to work with. We received an informative tour of the museum and they even helped us find the game in the Kiva Café Sunday morning. We told ourselves we would get up there from the day I toured with the VCB and it just didn't happen. I'm sorry we waited so long but it was well worth it. I'm glad to see the project continuing to grow given the economy. Thank you again for a fabulous getaway!
