Paws Up/Green O was a wonderful. The ride is pretty short, 30-40 minutes from the airport. It's scenic as you travel along the river. The Green O houses were really something. Beautiful, well-appointed, comfortable - everything. The housekeeping came twice a day, and they must coordinate with each other because whether we went out early or we went out later, when returning to the house, the cleaning was done. They had a lovely turndown service, where they gave you a fly fishing fly for each night that you were there and they explained what it is. The snacks were very good. We read the pet policy before we got there, and we were very prepared to follow it, however, they allowed dogs in most areas. My dog came with me into my therapy room when I was getting a massage, and then she got a massage herself. My pup was treated like a queen. At the five-star restaurant they had homemade dog biscuits for her along with treats that they gave us in a little doggy bag. The food was incredible, it wasn't anything we expected for an all-inclusive resort or for being in montana. The social haus restaurant, that was only open to the green o residents, gave us a meal that rivaled any Michelin restaurant we've been to. We dined at the other locations and they had barbecue and they had a great selection for breakfast and lunch. The service was just phenomenal. On the last night we attended the Big Sky bash, which was out on the lawn. The Big Sky bash is a family style dinner, and you don't order off of a menu, they just bring you the food that they choose for that evening. Many dressed up as cowboys, which was really cute. There is a huge wilderness store there and they sold a lot of Western Wear, and this event is probably what it was for. As an aside, the no-tipping thing was nice, I have to admit. At so many all-inclusive resorts, you have to tip more to get better service, but not here. Having everything taken care of was great. While talking about the store, they sold clothing, jewelry, western wear, cowboy boots, the blankets that they kept in the rooms, a lot of stuff for kids, it was great. My spouse really enjoyed the fly fishing trip. They packed a lunch for him they took him directly from the resort to the Blackfoot River. They started at the top of a 12 Mile stretch, and then they were met met at the bottom of the river, and he caught and released about 40 fish. He said it was definitely worth the money, and the guide was nice. I really liked my massage. They have a group of tents all together and they call that Spa town. My masseuse was wonderful and she did a great job and they had facilities there for you to shower after. They have your little tent open up to the view with the mountains and the Prairie and it was lovely. We went hiking on one of the well-marked trails. The staff was very helpful, we did not do a guided hike, we did this by ourselves and it was just fine. We did see bison, they tell you where the bison are on any given day and they tell you where to go see them, and we saw about 50. They gave us a Lexus SUV to use for the entire stay of our trip. What is funny is that they give the same exact vehicle to all of the green o guests - color, make and model. So when you were somewhere on the resort, there would be 10 exact lexuses parked next t0 each other, in fact I got into someone else’s by mistake. When the resort vehicle came to pick us up, they came right to our door, we didn't have to do anything. If you can get there, I definitely recommend The Green O and Paws Up.

We stayed in one of the treehouse residences and cannot overstate the attention to every detail. Not only is it an incredibly unique hotel suite, you are pampered beyond belief from the moment you arrive on property. And the restaurant is beyond belief. I have eaten several times at PerSe in NYC and all the best restaurants in France; and this dining experience is right up on par. Plus there are endless activities. We went white water rafting, skeet shooting, rented a private island on a lake for swimming and water sports, and truly had the time of our lives!

Quaint little place with first class service and fine dining. Our stay was for three nights in the Green Haus. Breakfast was delivered at our scheduled time every morning. Lunch and dinner is chosen from a fixed menu and each and every meal we had for lunch and dinner were fabulous and there were never more than two other couples eating at the same time as us so it seemed very private and special. All excursions are on site. We did some horseback riding and fly fishing and loved every minute of both. The Green Haus has its own hot tub and gas fireplace that you can see through to the outside. Super comfortable bed and large walk in shower and soaking tub. The powder room includes bidet with heated seat. Private car included during our stay also. Really nice and secluded property for our twentieth anniversary trip.

Booked this as a surprise weekend getaway for my wife (I unfortunately caved a week beforehand and told her where we were going, which was probably a good idea). We could not have enjoyed our time more. Our only complaint is that it was too short. Described as the “shoulder season” we were literally the only guests and had our own private slice of heaven the entire weekend. The accommodations are beyond incredible. We stayed at the mountain modern Light Haus and indulged in all that it had to offer. Wood burning fireplace by our hot tub. Super comfy bed and indoor fireplace and wall to ceiling windows to enjoy the beautiful forest and sky. I was a little worried when I booked at this time of year because I wasn’t sure if it was more winter season or spring season in regard to the activities. We lucked out and got the best of both worlds. We were able to go dog sledding and go on a snowmobile tour of a ghost town all while enjoying 50 degrees and sunny skies. The guides were great and we had so much fun. This place is known for its food and it sure did not disappoint. Chef Brandon was out but we were lucky enough to have Chef Carson and he dazzled us with so many fantastic, fun, and creative dishes. We also can’t forgot Amy at the Social Haus who really made us feel welcome and at home. Truly one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. Definitely worth every penny and we can’t wait to come back.
