Great Resort
Great location, amenities and service! Loved Captain Larry, Kevon, Queyli, and Freedo. My only complaint is the soliciting from Mayan merchandise sellers and the kids unaffiliated with the resort. The children would bother us at the beach and interrupt dinner to ask for our food or money.

Highly Recommend!
Highly recommend Jaguar Reef! The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was good. I have Celiac (gluten free) and there was a good amount of options on the menu that I could order (and they were happy to make accommodations). Fredo and Queyli were the best servers—we loved chatting with them at meals. Captain Larry and Kevon were also fantastic (10/10). Always showing up with coconuts for us on the beach. They made our trip really great. We also loved the half-day snorkeling (so much that we did it twice). Shamiqua was our guide both times and she was awesome! She was super knowledgeable and funny. Fantastic experience.

This isn’t my 1st stay at Jaguar Reef in Hopkins it was very nice to see so many upgrades to the property my stay was 10/10 per usual Robin at the front desk was the 1st face I seen she welcomed with a huge smile that was really refreshing Nincy served with great excellence night after night in the restaurant Brandon and Jerry are 2 of thee best bartenders in Hopkins and Capt Larry is always all hands on deck there when you need him

GREAT STAFF and Central Location for Excursions
We visited this resort in its offseason (July 19 - 25), but wouldn't know it thanks to the staff! Captain Larry, Tahida and Julio at the front desk, bar tenders (Edgar, Jerry, and Lucas) and each of the folks that provided room service from the Paddle House (yes, EACH ONE OF THEM), were incredible! Friendly demeanor while constantly making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The cleaning staff was also excellent! The resort location also worked out great as were less than hour to cave tubing, and 30 minutes or less to our other excursions (ATV riding / waterfall swimming, Sittee River kayaking, and snorkeling a couple of those incredible Caribbean reefs)! Another great feature of this resort is the 2 story dock bar that overlooks the sea. This very large double-decker offers a full bar at the top, netted beds to relax while hanging over the sea, a platform to jump in from the top deck, and a swinging rope to fly off the dock. This dock even has fresh cevechie made daily (cold dish consisting of seafood, traditionally raw fish or shellfish, marinated in citrus juices, herbs, and spices).

Belize 10/10..Sargassum aka seaweed -10
"Captain" Larry was great. Took care of any needs we had, made dining and recreation recommendations and even got my wife and kids coconuts. Be aware of the sargassum the really eliminate the option of swimming from the beach.

I will never forget my honeymoon at the Jaguar Reef resort in Belize! I can honestly say it was one of the greatest experiences in my life! The trips, the food, the people, from the piña coladas to the friendly service, I would recommend this place to anyone and hope to make it back there again someday.

Paradise is the only word you need to describe the Jaguar Reef experience. Starting with one of the most beautiful places on earth and add the opportunity to share that with some of the friendliest, most generous people I've met, it's just a wonderful vacation.
