What began in 1915 with a few tents on the shores of stunning Lac Beauvert has evolved into one of Canada's most beautiful resorts. Today, Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in Alberta's Jasper National Park is a breathtaking enclave of cedar chalets and heritage log cabins. Although secluded in its rugged landscape, this picturesque property tends to the desires of discriminating travelers, with an elegant spa and an array of refined dining dedicated to the bounties of the Great White North.

Went for a few days and enjoyed the piano music. I asked him to play Piano Man by Billy Joel and he did. Such a sweet guy. The next day he wasn't there and I was pretty upset to find out that he got fired. Just shows that they don't care about guest happiness there. I will not be going again.

NOT family friendly. If your kids have a good time during your stay then the employee responsible will be fired without notice. Yes, you read that right. Employees who do their job and ensure guest satisfaction are terminated without notice. They breach contracts, and do not support their staff.

The staff at this location are unbelievably rude towards children. If you have kids - do not go here! Your children will have the worst time and will be put down any chance the staff gets. My kids broken spirits were horrible to see. If you decide to go, all I can say is I told you so!!!

weird that they don’t allow families to enjoy music at their lodge. i was very disturbed to be informed of the firing of our favorite pianist of the last 6 years at this lodge. kind of bizarre they chose to fire him when the children of these families started singing along to songs he happened to be playing.

The piano player had everyone in a good mood. But, I've heard since, that he wasn't what they wanted. Why? Children were enjoying it. Other patrons could have objected or moved to another part of the complex, I'd they didn't like it. Maybe the staff were the problem? Were they in a bad mood?
