A Hidden Paradise in the Heart of Nature
My stay at The Lodge at Pico Bonito was absolutely unforgettable. Nestled in the lush rainforest, this place offers the perfect balance between adventure and relaxation. The cabins are cozy, beautifully designed, and offer a real sense of privacy surrounded by nature. Waking up to the sounds of tropical birds and the river nearby was pure magic. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. The food at the restaurant was delicious, with fresh local ingredients and beautiful presentation. The trails around the lodge were well-maintained and led to breathtaking waterfalls and wildlife sightings — we even spotted toucans and howler monkeys! If you’re looking for a peaceful escape or an eco-adventure, this is the perfect destination. I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already planning my return. Highly recommended!

Great for family and friends
Great visit with family and friends! We were a party of 12 and had an amazing stay. The hotel is a bit outdated, but nothing that made us feel uncomfortable. The rooms were clean, the food service was okay, and the front desk staff was outstanding — very helpful and welcoming. We’ve been visiting this property every year and truly enjoy coming back, though it’s clear the hotel could benefit from a renovation. Hopefully there’s a project in the works soon, as we can see the team is doing their best to keep everything running. Looking forward to our next stay!

Connection with nature
The walk was great and the river is beautiful. The food was very good and the people were really nice. The guide was very nice and he knows a lot about the place. The butterfly farm was so nice and they were beautiful. It was quite an experience and I enjoy the connection with nature so much.

A comeback must!
The surroundings where amazing. The hike to the river was great too, we even saw monkeys. The guide was very knowledgeable and patient. Also have butterfly sanctuary and serpents to touch! And the food was abundant and well prepared. Will definitely come back!

Great day at the lodge!
Excellent food, very beautiful location and atmosphere! Very relaxing spa area, and also have great options if you want to hike and see nature, swim or just hang out. We even got to hold the snakes in the reptile area, and there is a butterfly park as well that is really unique, definitely recommend if you can make it here

We would like to thank Luxury Link for helping us discover the extraordinary Lodge at Pico Bonito in Honduras. The setting was spectacular, the outings each morning with the naturalist were fascinating, the food quite good, and the staff a delight. Our very private cabin was the epitome of quietly elegant, rustic luxury. But most memorable was sitting on our cabin deck with our early morning coffee watching toucans and parrots, butterflies and the occasional agouti! As you can tell, I can't say enough good things about The Lodge at Pico Bonito. I think many people do not think of Honduras as a luxury destination, and this lodge proves otherwise.

My fiance and I recently stayed at The Lodge at Pico Bonito...it is a truly beautiful place. The food there is awesome, the service great. The menu is superb and everyone is so wonderful and friendly. We had a very pleasant experience and we intend to go back this year if our schedule permits. It's a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of one's everyday life.

Pico Bonito is truly a nature lover's paradise with fantastic cuisine and rustic yet lovely accommodations. All of the activities the lodge offers are fantastic. The nature guides are very well versed and the restaurant and room staff are wonderful
