Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti

Fantastic stay in the Serengeti! From booking the trip almost a year in advance, they were so helpful with booking our flights from Kilimanjaro and then departing to Zanzibar through Arusha. They were so wonderful to work with and help plan our trip. From the air strip transfers, to booking our Safari drives, hot air balloon safaris, etc, everything was seamless! I had forgotten that I had mentioned when I booked the trip almost year in advance that it was a family trip celebrating our daughter’s high school graduation. They did not forget and we were surprised with a graduation cake in our room upon arrival and had decorated her bed the following day in flowers. It was so thoughtful for them to remember. Those small touches make such an impact. Our favorite part of the experience was having our guide, Baraka. He took care of us all week, was so knowledgeable about the animals and area, and was always making sure that we had everything we needed and were comfortable. We’ve been gone for two days now and our family has said multiple times how much we miss Baraka. He is a true gem. Anne, Happy and all of the front desk/concierge staff were all so kind, welcoming and helpful. We truly had a great five days and would highly recommend! All the best, The Compton Family

Our stay at the Four Seasons Lodge Serengeti with my children to celebrate my 50th birthday was an exceptional experience and the trip of a lifetime. We are grateful to the staff, beginning with Lodge Manager Matthew Senyard, who upgraded our stay to the beautiful two-bedroom villa with pool overlooking the Serengeti. Deo, our guide, Anne, Alex, Irene and Liviana, our fantastic cooking instructors, our housekeepers, Deo in dining services and many others all showed our family incredible hospitality and kindness. We are deeply appreciative of the hospitality and kindness that you showed our family during our stay. Our family truly enjoyed the daily game drives and learned so much about the wildlife and history of the Serengeti. Deo drove us across the park throughout the week introducing us to lions, leopards, cheetahs, baboons, zebras and a broad range of diverse wildlife including The Great Migration. In the Ngorongoro Crater we were lucky to catch sightings of the magnificent and elusive black rhinos. At Olduvai Gorge we immersed ourselves in the archeologic record of human evolution. Back at the Lodge our family enjoyed the delicious cuisine, pool service, fantastic cooking class and even a bush dinner watching the Lion King after the sun went down. Wow, what an incredible week! We will always carry the beautiful memories of this week in our hearts and hope to return in the future!

An absolutely unforgettable experience – the Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti exceeded every expectation. The two-bedroom villa was stunning, spacious and perfectly appointed, with breathtaking views over the Serengeti. Waking up to wildlife right outside your door never got old. The infinity pool overlooking the savannah is simply magical, especially at sunset. The game drives were incredible – every outing felt like a new adventure. The food was outstanding throughout our stay, with every meal beautifully presented and delicious. But what truly set this experience apart was the staff. Our butler Saningo was in a league of his own – he anticipated our every need before we even had to ask, took wonderful care of the children, and made absolutely everything possible. He is the definition of five-star service. Matthew was equally exceptional, always helpful and ready to assist with whatever was on our minds. A special mention also to Fausta, who was a pleasure to deal with throughout. All three of them made us feel genuinely looked after from the first moment to the last. I don’t think there’s enough words to describe my experience at the Four Seasons Serengeti. Going to Tanzania has always been my dream since even before I met my husband and so when It came to plan my honeymoon, I knew where we had to go. I did a lot of research and while there’s so many incredible lodges in the Serengeti, I love air conditioning, hot water, and I’m a big fan of “glamping” and that’s the main reason I chose Four Seasons and It delivered that and more. The lodge itself was beautiful, AC worked wonderfully, our room was very clean and free of insects, the bed was so comfy, and the food was amazing. I also appreciated that they had indoor covered air conditioned areas for breakfast/dinner because as much as I love nature, I hate flies/mosquitos/insects. To start off with the service. The service was top tier. EVERYONE was so kind and friendly. They greeted us every single moment of everyday and were always willing to do anything to help us out. Our housekeeper in particular (room 403) left special touches while cleaning our room everyday that were so considerate and left me in awe. I will also never forget how the first day I checked in they decorated my room for my honeymoon and my birthday which was a couple days before (which I only mentioned when I made my reservation 6+ months ago and never brought up again). I thought that was so sweet on its own but then at dinner that night our waiter along with some of the other restaurant staff even sang me happy birthday as well (It was so unexpected because my husband never mentioned anything). I was so touched by all these little moments that really made our experience so memorable. The concierge service who I was in contact with through email for many months was also so attentive and helpful and made the experience very carefree for me as well (and I’m a type A planner). The location was also incredible for the time of year I went (May 23-25) because the animals were right outside the lodge so we never had to drive far to see them. There were thousands of them on the first day I checked in surrounding the lodge, It was unreal. Now onto our guide Emanuel. There are not enough words to thank him for the experience he created for us. He was extremely knowledgeable about all of the animals, there was not one thing he didn’t have an answer to and we appreciated all the facts. He also had eagle eyes!! He spotted animals that were miles away. He also always went above and beyond for us to see all the animals we wanted to see. He is truly one of a kind and we are so lucky that he was our guide. We will never forget him. I really could go on and on but as I said there will never be enough words to convey the magical experience I had the few days I was here. This was truly the most special trip so thank you for everything!!

The most amazing all-inclusive Four Seasons experience in the middle of the Serengeti! We were so impressed with the breakfast buffet, dining/drink options, gorgeous infinity pool that looks over the Serengeti, the attention to detail and even sending us with packed lunches and snacks for safaris. Our kids loved Violet in the kids club. The Maasai Boma dinner was such a treat - one of our friends even got to participate in the dancing! Rooms were spacious, clean, and provided everything we could possibly need. Above all, the staff was so warm and welcoming - everyone made our stay so comfortable and greeted us with a smile wherever we went. We loved our stay!
