About the Hotel

Join us deep in the heart of the world’s most celebrated wildlife reserves, where the Big Five – the lion, the leopard, the buffalo, the elephant and the rhinoceros – run free on the endless, untamed landscape. Perched on a series of elevated platforms and walkways, our Lodge sits next to an animal watering hole, where you can watch a family of elephants stop for their morning drink as you sip your own out on your room’s private balcony. Under the constant protection of local Maasai tribes people, we’ll take you in the bush for an exhilarating game drive, or you can soar high in the sky on a hot-air balloon safari. However you spend your day, our Spa is waiting to help you rehydrate, restore and re-energize for your next adventure. Our only question – where would you like to begin?

Reviews for Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti

A magical resort - not to be missed

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Our stay at the four seasons in the Serengeti was nothing part of magical. When we arrived at the elephants were standing at the watering hole right outside of the check-in area you could see wildebeest and zebra all waiting to drink from the watering hole and the front desk staff was friendly and gave us a thorough tour of the property. Our room was gorgeous and all details were considered when designing the space. At dinner, Anne did an amazing job, accommodating our food, allergies, and guiding us in our order. The food at the four seasons was unmatched with any food we had on this trip. The overall day was absolutely incredible. My only regret is that we did not stay there several more days this hotel is definitely not one to be missed.

Exciting Adventure and Comfortable Stay at the Serengeti

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

The experience overall was amazing and transformational for our family. We have travelled to many different exotic locations and always stay with the Four Seasons because of the exceptional customer service. This one was the most unique and exciting one we have been on, as we got to explore the amazing Serengeti National Park and all it had to offer from the comfort of a top-tier resort. There was a lot of planning involved as it was a trip packed with activities and inherent difficulties, such as the transportation to the remote location, the safety aspect, and many others. The only problem we had was with the logistics of getting there which were somewhat confusing and included a lot of waiting time. However, the Four Seasons staff at the resort seamlessly handled everything thereafter and made it as comfortable and organized for us as it could have been once we got there. Everything from the tour guides for our game drives with Sadik, to our beautiful room, and the delicious food run by passionate chefs and the food manager was pleasantly memorable. We specifically want to emphasize the exceptional service provided by Fausta and the General Manager of Food Services, Skander Gharbi. Additionally, our walking tour around the Serengeti was enhanced by our guide, Ahmed Attas, who gave us an overview of the rich history of the Serengeti. What elevated the service of our trip above all the other Four Seasons locations we've been to was the assistant we had for the duration of our stay, Deo. He not only was very kind, personable and knowledgable, but also anticipated many of our wants and needs, which takes another level of attention to detail and skill in hospitality. Deo was a big part of making our stay that much more comfortable and enoyable. Additionally, all the companies Four seasons partnered with for the other activities we did like the hot air baloon ride provided an equally high level of customer service.

Adventurous stay complemented by an awesome staff.

Our stay was an adventure! The property is in the middle of the National Park with no explicit boundaries between the two. We had two comfortable rooms with spectacular watering hole and savannah views, and we happened to see an elephant herd at the watering hole on one of the evenings - an amazing experience (see picture). The nights were a bit more challenging with the environment being uncontrolled; everything is out - bats, lizards, and all, and getting used to it took a bit of a toll. Despite such challenges, the service staff was amazing. A special shoutout to the Chef De Cuisine - Ritesh Rajguru who went above and beyond to cook us a special Indian dinner (see picture) and made us feel at home - from appetizers to desserts - a difficult task to accomplish in the middle of the Serengeti. Similarly, our driver and guide - Gideon - was knowledgable, resourceful, and tenacious; he made sure we got to see all the big five! Overall, don't expect a typical luxurious Four Seasons stay, but the location and the staff ensure you make fond unforgettable memories.

An exceptional resort in the heart of Serengeti safari country. Definitely worth the price!

Absolutely one of the finest resorts I’ve been to. Excellent facilities and exceptional staff. The rooms were beyond spacious. Restaurant and bar service very accommodating, especially for guests who are gluten intolerant. Highly recommend 3+ nights if there on safari.

Magical family Safari

We stayed in a private villa with our own water hole, and all I can say is that our experience was truly exceptional. Our private butler, Deo, anticipated all our needs with such care and professionalism, making our stay incredibly comfortable. Omari, our driver, was patient, knowledgeable, and an absolute pleasure to be around—he really elevated our safari experience. Five of us enjoyed massages during our stay, and every one of us loved it—the spa was fantastic! One of the highlights was having a herd of elephants visit our water hole three days in a row. On our final morning, we counted 34 elephants gathered at the water—an unforgettable and magical way to end the safari portion of our holiday. I also highly recommend the Bush Dinner—beautifully organized and absolutely delicious. A perfect touch to an already amazing stay.
