Join us deep in the heart of the world’s most celebrated wildlife reserves, where the Big Five – the lion, the leopard, the buffalo, the elephant and the rhinoceros – run free on the endless, untamed landscape. Perched on a series of elevated platforms and walkways, our Lodge sits next to an animal watering hole, where you can watch a family of elephants stop for their morning drink as you sip your own out on your room’s private balcony. Under the constant protection of local Maasai tribes people, we’ll take you in the bush for an exhilarating game drive, or you can soar high in the sky on a hot-air balloon safari. However you spend your day, our Spa is waiting to help you rehydrate, restore and re-energize for your next adventure. Our only question – where would you like to begin?

Be careful eating here! Lost 24 hours of an expensive vacation because of bad food. About 20 of us in our group became very ill after dinner one evening. Two people in our group who didn’t eat dinner were fine. Due to the bad food, I spent 24 hours in bed and in the bathroom. They obviously have issues in their kitchen. I have traveled to Africa before & this is the first time I have had any issues with sickness. Many in our group are still recovering.

The Lodge itself is beautiful with beautiful views. Plenty of animals to watch closeup at the watering pond next to the pool. 5 days later, Unfortunately, 10 of the 12 in our tour party have or had come down with gastrointestinal issues we believe came from a special outdoor buffet dinner served one night. Some of us were over it in two days. Today, Some are still suffering, 5 days later. Today, at the Fairmont Kenya Safari Club, we are being treated by a doctor. He mentioned that he and his partner are treating several others at different hotels who recently were at the Four Seasons Serengeti. They will report their findings to the appropriate health organization.

Our stay at Four Seasons Serengeti was nothing short of fabulous and truly exceeded all our expectations. The location is exceptionally beautiful, surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of the Serengeti. Waking up to the incredible scenery and being so close to nature and wildlife made the experience truly unforgettable. What stood out most, however, was the exceptional service. Every member of the team was warm, attentive, genuinely caring, and always willing to go the extra mile. The staff made us feel incredibly special and ensured that every little detail of our stay was taken care of. A very special mention goes to Mr. Ritesh, the chef, who was absolutely outstanding. He went above and beyond to make our dining experiences memorable, paying close attention to our preferences and adding thoughtful personal touches. His passion, dedication, and hospitality truly made a difference. We would also like to extend our appreciation to Chef Mustafa, who was equally wonderful and contributed to the fantastic culinary experience throughout our stay. The entire team deserves recognition for their incredible hospitality and professionalism. It is rare to experience such genuine warmth and attention to detail, and that is what makes Four Seasons Serengeti so special. The combination of an exceptionally beautiful location, world-class service, outstanding cuisine, and genuinely wonderful people made our stay unforgettable. A huge thank you to the entire team, especially Mr. Ritesh and Chef Mustafa, for making our experience so extraordinary. Four Seasons Serengeti is truly a destination where the beauty of the surroundings is matched by the excellence of its people. We cannot wait to return!

I came to the four seasons safari lodge in Serengeti with my family of 6 and we had an unforgettable experience, something the kids will never forget. Everything was perfect, from the tours in the safari, to the views from the rooms, and especially the staff, there was not one employee who didn’t treat us with the fullest of respect. I would like to highlight 3 specific employees who stood out to me and my family. First, Julius, besides his amazing and warm personality, he made us feel part of the team and treated my boys like one of his brothers, he would arrange daily soccer matches with the professional local soccer team for my boys to have fun and experience the Tanzanian football culture. Second, John, there was no request that John couldn’t deliver successfully, from specific protein shakes in the morning to spending extra time and care to create special mocktails for my children, all completed with a huge smile on his face. Last but definitely not least, Gift. My kids had incredible daily experiences at the kids club with Gift, I couldn’t have wished for a more bubbly, kind personality than Gifts own. She interacts so naturally with kids that just made them want to be Gifts sibling. Thank you all for an unforgettable experience, - The Kalush’s

Dear Reader If I could describe the perfect vacation through experiences instead of words, this would be it. From the moment we boarded Grumeti Air, we knew this trip was going to be something special. The flight itself was outstanding, and their team of pilots was exceptional. But the true Four Seasons experience begins the instant you land. Waiting for us on right there on the airstrip was the most beautiful picnic for a group of very thirsty travelers could/would have imagined. Every detail had been thoughtfully prepared—even accommodating dietary restrictions without hesitation. The answers were always "that's no problem," but simply, "of course." Then came the drive to the lodge. Calling it a transfer would be doing it a disservice—it was our first safari. Within minutes we were surrounded by wildlife, all while our guide, Ramsey, shared fascinating stories, history, and facts about everything we encountered. One thing I quickly realized was that he never once said, "I don't know." Later, we learned why. Every guide undergoes extensive education and rigorous training, and it shows in every conversation. Their knowledge, passion, and enthusiasm elevate the experience beyond anything I could have imagined. Honestly, it would be easier to tell you what we didn't see than what we did. The wildlife was simply that abundant. Ramsey made every game drive feel like a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, and by the end of each day our cheeks hurt from smiling so much. If you're lucky enough to have Ramsey as your guide, consider yourself fortunate. And if you're really lucky...he might even sing for you. Arriving at the lodge felt less like checking into a hotel and more like coming home. From the warm "Jambo!" greeting to the refreshing cold towel and perfectly chilled welcome drink, every member of the team made us feel like honored guests. Special thanks to Toti, Ramsey, Grace, Mustafa, Charles, Beno, Baltazary, Silas, Mlungwana, Peris, Abraham, and especially Jonas. If you're relaxing by the pool and need a perfectly timed cold beverage on a warm Serengeti afternoon, Jonas is your guy. The property itself is breathtaking. Every path, every garden, every view is immaculate. It's hard to believe a place in the middle of the Serengeti can be maintained with such perfection. There truly wasn't a blade of grass out of place. Then you step inside your room. The accommodations perfectly balance authentic African design with the luxurious comfort Four Seasons is known for. Every detail feels intentional—from the décor to the bedding to the incredible bathroom. It's elegant without feeling overdone and luxurious without losing its sense of place. Now let's talk about the food. If you're a foodie, prepare yourself. Every meal was a masterpiece, thoughtfully prepared and customized exactly to your preferences. Our group takes food seriously, and every single meal exceeded our expectations. Breakfast, lunch, dinner—it didn't matter. Each one somehow managed to top the last. And don't hesitate to enjoy the fresh vegetables and salads. They're locally sourced, incredibly fresh, and absolutely delicious. Coming from the United States, I was reminded what produce is supposed to taste like. The tomatoes actually tasted like tomatoes. One experience you absolutely cannot miss is the campfire dinner. It was pure magic. Watching your meal prepared over an open fire beneath the African sky while surrounded by the sounds of the Serengeti is something you'll remember forever. Every course was exceptional, somehow improving on the one before it. And the soups...I still think about them. Prepared fresh daily, they're worth the trip all by themselves. I also have to mention Toti. If you're fortunate enough to have him looking after your accommodations, don't get too attached...or maybe do. I genuinely wanted to pack him in my suitcase and bring him back to Texas. Unfortunately, I was already over the airline weight limit, so he had to stay behind. I could write pages about this place and still not do it justice. Some destinations impress you. Others entertain you. Very few truly move you. Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti does all three. If you're searching for a destination that is magical, unforgettable, breathtaking, luxurious, and deeply authentic, stop looking. Book the trip. You'll leave with incredible photographs, unforgettable memories, and a piece of your heart that will always remain in the Serengeti.
