Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti

I don’t think there’s enough words to describe my experience at the Four Seasons Serengeti. Going to Tanzania has always been my dream since even before I met my husband and so when It came to plan my honeymoon, I knew where we had to go. I did a lot of research and while there’s so many incredible lodges in the Serengeti, I love air conditioning, hot water, and I’m a big fan of “glamping” and that’s the main reason I chose Four Seasons and It delivered that and more. The lodge itself was beautiful, AC worked wonderfully, our room was very clean and free of insects, the bed was so comfy, and the food was amazing. I also appreciated that they had indoor covered air conditioned areas for breakfast/dinner because as much as I love nature, I hate flies/mosquitos/insects. To start off with the service. The service was top tier. EVERYONE was so kind and friendly. They greeted us every single moment of everyday and were always willing to do anything to help us out. Our housekeeper in particular (room 403) left special touches while cleaning our room everyday that were so considerate and left me in awe. I will also never forget how the first day I checked in they decorated my room for my honeymoon and my birthday which was a couple days before (which I only mentioned when I made my reservation 6+ months ago and never brought up again). I thought that was so sweet on its own but then at dinner that night our waiter along with some of the other restaurant staff even sang me happy birthday as well (It was so unexpected because my husband never mentioned anything). I was so touched by all these little moments that really made our experience so memorable. The concierge service who I was in contact with through email for many months was also so attentive and helpful and made the experience very carefree for me as well (and I’m a type A planner). The location was also incredible for the time of year I went (May 23-25) because the animals were right outside the lodge so we never had to drive far to see them. There were thousands of them on the first day I checked in surrounding the lodge, It was unreal. Now onto our guide Emanuel. There are not enough words to thank him for the experience he created for us. He was extremely knowledgeable about all of the animals, there was not one thing he didn’t have an answer to and we appreciated all the facts. He also had eagle eyes!! He spotted animals that were miles away. He also always went above and beyond for us to see all the animals we wanted to see. He is truly one of a kind and we are so lucky that he was our guide. We will never forget him. I really could go on and on but as I said there will never be enough words to convey the magical experience I had the few days I was here. This was truly the most special trip so thank you for everything!!

The most amazing all-inclusive Four Seasons experience in the middle of the Serengeti! We were so impressed with the breakfast buffet, dining/drink options, gorgeous infinity pool that looks over the Serengeti, the attention to detail and even sending us with packed lunches and snacks for safaris. Our kids loved Violet in the kids club. The Maasai Boma dinner was such a treat - one of our friends even got to participate in the dancing! Rooms were spacious, clean, and provided everything we could possibly need. Above all, the staff was so warm and welcoming - everyone made our stay so comfortable and greeted us with a smile wherever we went. We loved our stay!

An unforgettable stay at Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti. Incredible views over the savannah and the nearby watering hole made wildlife sightings unforgettable. The lodge combines true safari adventure with Four Seasons luxury—beautiful suites, excellent service, and a once-in-a-lifetime atmosphere in the heart of the Serengeti.

We are seasoned travelers but I was hesitant going to Tanzania. In hindsight, just my ignorance of Africa. We had an incredible experience with the amazing service offered to us by the Four Seasons. For roughly the same investment as staying in a Safari Camp we were treated to a first class experience from the many emails to Bridget to set it up to the final hand off at the Kilimanjaro airport to depart. The Four Seasons staff was there to make sure all of our tentativeness was overcome by exceeding our expectations in every possible area. Again, we travel often but have never experienced the genuine kind, sincere and professional service we received at the Tanzania Four Seasons. The staff was amazing especially Dao in the lunch/bar restaurant. He is perhaps the nicest, proactive human being we ever met. My wanted to bring him home with us. Our guide and Safari driver was Hans. He made sure we got great pictures of the big give and many other beautiful sights. Incredible customer service. Everyone we met in at the four Seasons were so genuinely kind and it easy to see why. The first person we met when we arrived was the General Manager, Marisa, and she was the last person to say goodbye when we departed. I never thought I'd say this but based on our incredible experience may go back next year to visit again along with their new property in Zanibar.

Wow wow wow and another wow! What an incredible experience! We stayed for 4 nights and I can honestly say it was perfect from the moment we arrived! The staff at The Four Seasons are something else and made my trip a memorable and truly amazing experience. From the minute you arrive they are waiting to greet you with the most welcoming smiles and ready to provide anything you desire (literally)! Everything is ready - there is no waiting around for anything - breakfast, lunch and dinner service prompt and like clockwork! Seamless and delicious! Any requests are accommodated immediately! Snacks provided for day trips without prompt and already in your safari truck when you set off for the day. Lunch options available too! The staff hairdresser plaited my hair - nothing is too much trouble! Then there are the artists in the lobby who are super talented and produce the most beautiful artwork of African wildlife! The staff were pro-active and preempt anything you may want/need - the attention to detail was remarkable on every level. The managers greet you personally and always take the time to check in with you. We were personally greeted by all of the managers throughout our stay and they were just as lovely as their wonderful staff! The whole experience was exceptional and faultless from start to finish! Safari was fantastic beyond words and the accommodation was exquisite but the real gems are the staff who provide a world class service consistently with a smile and definitely made my trip a memorable one! Gorgeous humans inside and out! I miss them all! Grace is a diamond ❤️! Daniel is just 👌 and the twins (Boma and breakfast service) are hardworking and inspirational! Thank you to every single one of you ! You are all amazing and we can’t wait to come back and see you (very soon) !
