Going on this safari was an amazing experience to see the wild animals in real life but the experience was truly made by the staff at Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge. In all my travels around the world I’ve never met more hospitable people. Our Ranger Bethuel and spotter Bongi were exceptionally good at sharing their knowledge of all the different animals. They were very welcoming, created a fun vibe for our group every day, and felt like family by the end of our stay! It took 28 hours to travel here and I would do it every year if possible!

The resort is absolutely beautiful. We were in a suite, which was by far the most beautiful room we stayed at throughout our vacation, and perhaps the best shower I've ever had! There's a nice gift store onsite as well. Albert was our guide and Scelo was our tracker throughout our stay. They were both incredibly knowledgeable. We saw the big 5 many times and saw cats quite often, including a pride of 16 lions. We also went on the community tour. It was interesting to see the nearby community and learn more about the culture. While the food was very good and plentiful with options, all meals are buffet style.

Our group of 12 LOVED everything about SabiSabi...from the lodge, the staff, our guide and tracker, and being able to view a parade of animals each day at the watering hole!

We have been on a few safaris before - but Sabi Sabi Bush lodge was not about sigthings but experiences. Yes we saw the big 5 and on one day within the day, but it was our guide Jana and tracker NhlaNhla who made the safaris extra special. From just observing a few hundred buffalos, to failed hunts of a leopard masking her scent rolling in the dust and not to forget tracking a pride of lions. Its the sincerity, shared enthusiasm when they would have seen them many times and painstakingly explaining the ways mother nature worked which made the the trip memorable. The location of the bush logde adds the extra special to see elephant herds coming to frolic in the water and teach some manners. Thank you Conrad and team for living the purpose of keeping nature first as the aminals were always kept at the core with no more than 2-3 vehicles around. We have been planning this for 12 years and yes, it was worth every bit of it!

My family (husband, daughter, son-in-law and I) stayed at Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge August 11 – August 15, 2025. It was an absolutely AMAZING experience! From Conrad, the general manager, to Werner and Sidney (our ranger and tracker), to Innocent (our dining server), to the sweet young lady in the gift shop, and everyone else on staff, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The accommodations (we were in the Tumbela villa) were wonderful and the food and drinks were great. Werner and Sidney were outstanding! They were so knowledgeable, personable, friendly, able to answer any questions we had, and were just as excited as we were to see everything. We saw all of the Big 5 (lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, and leopards) as well as zebras, giraffes, hyenas, kudu, warthogs, antelope, baboons, monkeys, impala, dwarf mongoose. Seeing lion cubs and juveniles playing, adults basking in the sun, being trumpeted by a young elephant, and everything else was just unbelievable. It was so awesome to experience the South African bushveld and see all of these beautiful animals in their natural habitat. It was the trip of a lifetime, and we would highly recommend Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge (and especially Werner and Sidney)!

To visit Sabi Sabi's Earth Lodge is a chance of a lifetime to participate in the very best of a world class bush experience. Thanks to the diligence & commitment of our ranger/tracker team, the game viewing was spectacular. Add to this the experience of staying in a luxury lodge with large comfortable suites, fine cuisine, excellent facilities and a level of camaraderie not often found in such surroundings and you truly have the best in the world. This all made for yet another truly memorable visit, never to be forgotten!
