Beautiful location! Request Marama from the concierge team, she is incredible! Prepare for slow restaurant service if you have kids. Not enough staff to provide a unique or special experience.

Room was beautiful. Service was NOT. Kimber (concierge) was your typical shocked that you weren’t happy with them getting your name wrong for starters. This property has potential but is not currently reflective of the Auberge brand. The best, friendliest, most approachable lobby staff member at check in was the youngest one. The snooty dark haired older woman at check in should take a note from him; she’s obnoxious. This property advertised a Christmas experience and under delivered. The one high point of our trip was the silver stamping ornament experience. Restaurant notes- Basic, and not in a good way. Not busy and still took forever. Nothing terrible but nothing special. Coffee shop- didn’t visit except on Christmas morning and they had one single person working?!? This isn’t a 5 star vibe. They had a super basic assortment of sundries and postcard ish things…was in line with an over priced juice and card and walked out after 10 minutes and there still were 5 people ahead of me in line. Again…..you advertise a holiday experience then don’t staff your coffee stand?

Overall this property is not meeting the standards of a 5 Star resort. I’d like someone from Auberge corporate to reach out to me.

Auberge seems to just get it right and Bishops Lodge is one of their best examples. You feel like you are tucked away in the mountains but with a five star staff, food, and accommodation. I highly recommend experiencing this resort.

Resort is beautiful during the Christmas Season, with the entire resort lit with farolitos and lights. Staff is wonderful, food was excellent. Short drive into Santa Fe Plaza for Christmas lights. Our weather was extraordinary with temps in the upper 50's and lower 60's so walking the grounds and a few of the adjacent trails behind the resort, although challenging for some due to the steep hills for some of the rooms, was very nice.

“The Bishop's Lodge Ranch Resort & Spa was fabulous. They are so nice and treat everyone like they are the only people at the resort.”

“The reserved rooms were either shabby or had views that overlooked industrial buildings...for $50 per day we were upgraded to an outstanding villa that was probably worth much more”
