location is absolutely unbeatable — right in the heart of the Serengeti with breathtaking views all around. The hospitality was truly exceptional. The staff made us feel so welcome and took great care of us throughout our stay. The bed was also incredibly comfortable — perfect for relaxing after a long day of safari. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the Serengeti!

We had an incredible stay at Melia Serengeti—it truly exceeded all our expectations. The location is absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of the Serengeti right from the lodge. Waking up to wildlife and endless plains was an unforgettable experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, blending comfort with nature perfectly. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The food was excellent with a great variety, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Everything was well organized, and the attention to detail really stood out. I would highly recommend Melia Serengeti to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable safari stay—it’s truly a special place!

From the arrival at the local Seronera Airport until the moment we were dropped off there again a week later we felt so welcome by all people who are part of the Melia Serengeti Lodge. What an amazing country and place to stay for a week. It was our first time in Tanzania and what great memories we have made. We will be back in the future. After a 2 hour trip from the airport to the Lodge(which already felt like a mini safari with all the animals we were already able to see) we arrived and got a room with a great view over the Serengeti. Actually all rooms have a lovely view. Throughout the whole week we stayed at the Melia Serengeti lodge the food was fantastic. Breakfast with plenty of choice and lunch + dinner every day a different menu. The room was very clean, fitness room great(small detail but even the water there was at the right drinking temperature), the restaurant and all staff serving us were so nice and thoughtful. A swimming pool with superb view over the Serengeti and having a drink there to see the sun going down was a small little gift every day. Also the various excursions, which we booked via the hotel, were very well organized by the hotel. The walking safari including a ranger and local tribe Masai(Mengoriki who has so much knowledge of the plants/trees and animals) taking care of us. The lunch in the nature with the protection of a ranger and a Masai was definitely one to remember. The cooks who prepared this lunch spoiled us with some great salads, seafood/meat, desert. And our guide Emmanuel for the most of the week driving us around the Serengeti and to NgoroNgoro Crater was amazing in spotting animals and telling us all sort of information about the animals and plants/trees. The way the hotel managed the safe return to the hotel after we got stuck in the mud in an evening with the jeep due to the rain was also remarkable. Within the hour after we could not move back of forward anymore they arranged for another jeep to meet us, pull us out and we could continue our journey towards the hotel after a long day safari. Last but not least I would like to mention and thank Martin Frois, the Guest Experience Manager at Melia Seregenti. He and his staff gave us such a warm feeling to be part of the Melia family for the whole period we were there. Truly remarkable to feel so welcome in Tanzania. Thank you again. This place is magical. From the views, to the people, the food and drink… the beauty doesn’t end. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived, being treated as long time friends rather than first time guests. The team here is INCREDIBLE. They give just the right amount of attention without being overbearing or intrusive. Cha Cha and his F&B team sure know how to deliver an exceptional experience always! Whether it was Jesica welcoming us at breakfast or dinner or Josh making sure we had enough food (always too much, but it was SOOOO GOOD!) we were always being looked after in the most beautiful way. When my partner didn’t feel well, they were overly concerned with his well being and sent a thermometer for us to check his temperature to the room! I could go on for days as to how amazing this place is but my wish is everyone could see for themselves. We have too many thank you’s to give, I’ll start with Mengoriki who got me safely (and quickly! He has long legs and you gotta keep up! 😂) to my room each night and said good morning to me each day. He taught me about all the plants on property too! Also a special thanks to Hajiid, David, Mariam, Jacob for always practicing Swahili with me. Also so many people in the restaurant and bar who took care of us ( order a dowa if you want the best medical drink ever) ❤️‍🩹 every day and night! Martin, your team is incredible and we miss you all so much. On the cold Chicago days we dream of returning to see you all in paradise!
