This property is dated and in desperate need of a renovation. The initial lobby has obviously received a lot of updates and funding, however the room we stayed in was totally lacking. The carpet has to be from early 2000s, the bed has egg crates on it, but must also be at least 20 years old too (and very noisy!) and the bathroom has window curtains from the 90s. There is no ventilation in the bathroom (they have been yanked out and never replaced). As soon as we stepped into our room, the floor is extremely dirty and the floor is so old that it is peeling up. I made sure that my son not walk barefoot on the carpet! In the White Mountains where it's winter October-May, there should at least be shoe trays to place your shoes right when you walk in. Cleaning is NOT a priority in these rooms. I would say the only redeeming quality is that it's only 15 mins drive from Attitash mountain, complimentary breakfast and the hot showers. I would never recommend this property to any of my friends, nor stay here ever again.

I stayed twice and both experience was not good! I don't think the room was actually cleaned, especially the bedding. I have to change the room both times. During the first time, the bed was not made. During the second time, the comforter even has nails on it, and the sheet has yellow urine like dirt. The staff was courteous though.

ago on Google Absolutely disgusting!!! My pictures will tell all but it but I highly recommend staying away , pictures are false. I asked to move to another room because the condition of the room they gave us. Staff tried telling me all that dirt was staining . Well then buy new stuff, no excuse. The second Room was slightly better but as you can see in the bathroom picture there was rust on the ceiling and when the people upstairs took a shower the crusty rust was crumbling down on my towels. Gross!! Walls are paper thin , beds are beyond uncomfortable , the list goes on but my pictures are self explanatory. Stay away!!!! FYI: I booked through hotels.com and they will not refund me , beware of 3rd party booking . This place was a huge gross disappointment .

I have stayed here multiple times over the past two years, and each visit has been a positive experience. The front desk staff is truly exceptional—helpful, kind, and welcoming every time. The rooms are a bit outdated, which is understandable given the age of the hotel, but they still offer a cozy, rustic charm that perfectly captures the North Conway vibe. If you're seeking luxury, this might not be the place for you, but if you're looking for an authentic, rustic North Conway feel, this hotel is a great choice. I look forward to my next visit!

We have been going to this hotel for years, it really needs some updating. The room did not have a hair dryer, had to go to the front desk to ask for one, they only started a fire in the fireplace in the lobby because it was requested. The coffee maker in the lobby was out of chai tea and hot chocolate. Breakfast was good, and Bobby was so cordial, checking in with all of the guests to make sure they had everything that they needed. Hopefully next year, our favorite spot has a face lift and is back to being the comfortable hotel that we know and love.
