Reviews for Tanque Verde Ranch

Memorable family vacation!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

Such a fun place for the entire family, aged 6 to 51. Kids program was amazing for the younger ones and very flexible to allow older family members to ride. Horses were mostly gentle and fairly easy to handle, even by beginners. We were concerned about visiting in the summer but we got the riding done early then spent midday at the pool and then did other activities in the afternoon as it started to cool down. Food was delicious with highlights being cowboy cookout and breakfast ride. Online portal for scheduling activities is cumbersome with a large group so I'd recommend just calling the front desk and having them do it. Remember to sign up for all activities by 8 pm night before (though we forgot one day and they were very accomodating). Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience. I cannot wait to do it again. My kids loved all of the activities with the all inclusive experience. The casita we stayed in was so spacious and clean. I could have stayed longer! I loved it all.

Best Family All Inclusive Resort

This was our 3rd year going to TVR. My whole family enjoys it from grandparents, parents, teens and kids. The horseback riding through Saguaro's is top tier. The meals including allergy options are fabulous! Clean, valuable family time and excellent customer service!

Perfection!

My wife and I wanted to go here for the horse riding because she had heard about it on a morning show she watches. We signed up for activities that weve never done before and had a great time. Everything was great about the entire long weekend, the food, the staff, the horse riding, the scenery! Will be coming back in the fall or spring!

Tanque Verde Ranch was our first experience with a guest ranch. We arrived in Arizona not knowing what to expect. When we finally arrived we were both amazed by the place. Our room was upgraded to a fireplace suite and it was lovely and spacious with a back patio that opened onto the wide desert. The horseback rides out into the Sonoran desert were both beautiful and exciting. The food was fabulous. It was the best vacation we'd ever had!
