It's both the journey and the destination
Berkeley River would not be for everyone but if you are seeking peace, relaxation, tranquility and to disconnect from the world this is a perfect destination for that. With curated itineraries, fine dining, excellent service set in a stunning wilderness location then this for you. Not to mention the very small group activities, the knowledgeable guides and the wildlife.

Berkeley River Lodge stay
We have just had a wonderful experience while staying at the lodge and could not fault it. The accommodation and food and beverages were outstanding. The staff were very friendly and helpful

Kimberley high end holiday.
Take sturdy shoes for walking. The hike can be a challenge for less agile/active folk. Lots of red dirt so careful with the pale colours. More distant villas have great views but a longer walk (350 m) to the lodge. Fishing is marginal - this is not a fishing trip. Helicopter options are a must - especially to see absolutely stunning rock art in a very remote rock shelter. Read up on it before you go. Lots of crocodiles - but staff are very careful to keep people safe.

Outstanding stay!
Had been 3 times before. Quality still outstanding, especially so soon after the destructive cyclone late in 2025. Inclusions are excellent. All staff super friendly and efficient. Guides first class. Top food experiences. Thoroughly recommend.
