I had an awful experience at Iberostar and would strongly advise others to stay elsewhere. We called ahead to confirm that 3 guests could stay in our room with no extra charge, and were told it was fine. Despite this, we were later charged an additional $250 and treated extremely rudely when we questioned it. One of our guests stayed because her original plans fell through after a traumatic incident where she was drugged. Instead of showing any compassion, hotel staff stalked and harassed her at 6am, demanding to know why there was a third person in the room. I also have serious food allergies that I clearly communicated. The hotel messed up my food order four different times—including serving me eggs and salmon, which I cannot eat—and still charged me for the meals. That is unacceptable and dangerous. We were told breakfast was included, only to be billed for it later. The AC in our room didn’t work, and when I brought it up, I was yelled at by a staff member. When we escalated to the manager and IHG support, we were basically told they didn’t care. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The combination of lack of accountability, poor communication, harassment, and safety concerns made our stay incredibly stressful. Avoid at all costs.

Stayed in Marbella with a group of friends and had a late flight on our last day. We didn't want to waste a full day so checked into Iberostar Coral Beach Marbella on a Day Pass... what a fabulous experience, so much so that this will be my next hotel stay when visiting Marbella. The pass cost us €90 and was worth every cent. We were able to store our luggage and enjoy the lovely pool area with really comfortable sun loungers and parasols. Included in the price of the day pass was an amazing lunch with drinks from an extensive menu. Drinks were included during our lunch but the drinks prices whilst sitting at the pool were very reasonable. Most cocktails were €10/€12 and were very good. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and the service was excellent. A particular mention to Zamora, who looked after us during lunch. We honestly couldn't have asked for better service. We were able to use shower and changing facilities to prepare for our flight home... would really recommend this hotel. We only had a day in it but definitely on my list of places to stay. Thanks Iberostar staff.. you made our last day very memorable... hope to see you again very soon for an extended visit 😊

This was our second time staying at the Iberostar Selection Coral Beach, and it somehow managed to exceed our already high expectations from our first visit! We stayed for 5 nights from June 29th, and every moment was pure bliss. We’re already counting down the days until our return in just 8 weeks! From the moment we arrived, the reception staff welcomed us with warmth and efficiency, setting the tone for an incredible stay. The entire hotel is spotlessly clean—every corner sparkles, thanks to the diligent housekeeping team who refreshed our room daily with fresh towels and meticulous attention to detail. The room itself was perfect, equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and luxurious stay. The staff here truly make this hotel exceptional. Everyone, from the breakfast team to the bar staff, waiters, waitresses, and cleaners, is incredibly attentive, friendly, and goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel special. Their genuine smiles and willingness to help made every interaction a pleasure. Whether it was a perfectly poured drink at the bar or a thoughtful recommendation from the waitstaff, their service elevated our experience. The evening entertainment was a highlight—lively, well-organized, and so much fun! It’s the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. Speaking of which, the hotel’s location is ideal. We loved the scenic walk into Puerto Banús, which is close enough to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere but far enough to feel like a peaceful retreat. Everything about this hotel screams quality and care, from the pristine facilities to the outstanding service. We can’t wait to return in 8 weeks for another dose of Iberostar magic. We have just returned from a 4 night stay. We had upgraded to a roof top sea view suite . Room 333. We also upgraded to all inclusive when we arrived. It was so worth it. This is the most honest review you will read about this hotel. It’s worth its weight in gold. Staff cannot do enough. They work incredibly hard to make sure your stay is perfect. There is nothing they would not do. We had not been away in years and just wanted to go away and relax and that’s exactly what this offered. The food was amazing with theme nights at the buffet each night. The lunch menu is fabulous so much to choose from. I always opted for the cheese and ham toasty , it was to dye for and followed by their cheesecake OMG amazing. The menu went from a simple sandwich to a steak. The hotel is stylish and clean. When you arrive you are greeted with a cold towel and a choice of drink. The hotel porter takes your bags to your room and your holiday begins. There is evening entertainment but not too long into the night to ensure the guests can enjoy then relax. The pool area is perfect and kept clean, though we used our suite balcony as it had a whirlpool. The views from our room were spectacular. The housekeeping staff give you a turn down service every night with a wee chocolate. I would not hesitate to stay here again. It was amazing. So relaxing and chilled.

We have just returned from this hotel. First time at this hotel and marbella. On arrival we noticed how clean the lobby was and service at check in was fast.. 10 mins. We were greeted with a cold towel and a glass of champagne When we got to our room, it was even better than on the pictures. We stayed in a pool side suite.. room 27. The room was very clean, fully stocked mini bar, bed and pillows so soft. An amazing shower and our patio was massive. 2 tv in room, 1 in lounge and 1 in bedroom. No room key or wrist band but a magnetic bracelet to unlock your room. Location was amazing, close to beach, 10 min walk to porta marina and 20 min taxi to old town marbella. Food - we ate mainly in the buffet in the evening and pool bar in the evening. Breakfast .. Amazing choice and great service. Lunch.. nearly everyday great, however on 1 afternoon left waiting 30 mins for a drink and when food arrived it was cold. The service when I complained to head waiter was unacceptable and very poor. Considering the other 4 days were great, both food and service, it was ashame as this has put me off. Evening meal, we ate out a few nights, even though all inclusive, but the food and service in the evening was amazing. Pool - we loved this area, clean, loads of sunbeds, activities at the pool. Spa- AMAZIING. We booked 2 treatments. Best massage and lovely ladies. Checkout, again so easy Value for money - yes initially expensive as we were all inclusive, but we'll worth it. Would highly recommend I am going to finish this review about service. Absolutely Amazing. All staff were lovely, however Stephanie who worked at the pool bar is a diamond, so hard working, is lovely to everyone and really looked after us. I really do think she should be recognised for her outstanding service.
