Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

This was our 2nd trip back & it was again, the BEST adult resort we’ve been to!! Everything was amazing…service, room, food & drink quality, overall vibe & beach experience. Preferred club team went above & beyond to make our trip special. Shout out to some fun/amazing people…THANK YOU🥰 PC Beach Club Restaurant - Margarita, Matteo, Marco (at the bar), Manaces, Alexis, Ivan, Gabriela, Chef Ischl PC Beach - Heliodoro, Alberto, Leo, Gaspar PC Lounge bar - Gonzalo Also, Gilberto in the French restaurant was so fun & outstanding service🤩

The whole experience was great! Roger, our concierge in building 26 gave us phenomenal service all week, responded promptly to my requests. The chef and staff at Oceana were wonderful, the salmon was generous and cooked to perfection. I can’t say enough about my stay there, simply fabulous!

Roger our concierge was the absolute best, as well as Hector with UVC- both exceeding our expectations. Edar our waiter at the pool was phenomenal & made each day wonderful. The preferred beach club restaurant was perfect each day for breakfast/lunch and our waiter at El Patio- Edgar? (tall young man) was the kindest best server. Our room was always clean and the fridge was stocked with our favorite drinks/snacks. Check-in and out was a breeze and the spa was beautiful/relaxing. This is our second trip to Secrets Maroma and we cannot wait to return.

This resort exceeded all my expectations. It was clean, staff was attentive, food was delicious, environment was not too crazy or overcrowded. Everyone was so professional, well groomed, and well dressed. The club access rooms were beautiful as well and had Jacuzzi inside the room and on balcony. Hans and Orlando greeted us very nicely, Mari cleaned our room and left it in an excellent shaped, Roger our concierge was excellent and was very attentive. The staff had no issues making personal accommodations as we were celebrating my mom’s 60th birthday. I look forward to staying at another secret resort again, hopefully soon.

We just got back from a 6 night stay at Secrets Maroma Beach, and oh my goodness!!! It was a DREAM!!!!!! If you are choosing a resort, CHOOSE THIS ONE!!!! There is not one bad thing that I can say about our trip and this resort. I’ll break it down into categories… Entertainment Team HANDS DOWN the best part of the trip! The entire entertainment team was incredible. A special huge shout out to the few that went above and beyond to make our trip so special, and who quickly became friends. Marcelo, Fritz, Ricardo, Sebastian, Leo, Claudia, Ixchel, Oscar, Abraham…they were THE BEST! They made sure to join in our activities-for example, learning a new way to play darts and joining in our foosball & ping pong tournament. But, they also included us and adapted their activities to our interests. Do the activities! Play the games! Join in the experiences. Marcelo and Fritz did an AWESOME job on both the bike and kayak tour and made us feel so welcomed and included, Leo was awesome at getting everyone hyped poolside, Ixchel and Claudia were so sweet, Ricardo brought his adorable smile and energy to everything he did, and Sebastian did a great job making us feel as if we were home right alongside the whole team. They started as our entertainment, but we all left as friends. Entertainment We’ve been to other resorts where the shows were just okay and provided something to do. The shows at Maroma Beach are professional quality shows! Elements and The Rock Show were PHENOMENAL!!! The vocals, the wow factor, the acrobatics…oh my gosh! Don’t skip these!!! The silent disco was also a HIT!!! We went 3 nights because it was so much fun. Again, the entertainment team made sure everyone was having a good time but the nightlife was overall GREAT! Always live music playing, whether outside the buffet, in the lobby, by the pool. Incredible! The Resort It is stunning. From the well manicured lawns and landscaping, to the up lighting, and ambiance…they didn’t miss a thing! It is truly stunning! Instagram picture worthy everywhere you look. The pool is also incredible. Enough space in the pool for everyone, the swim up bar is a super fun hang out spot, and there are enough chairs for everyone-as long as you get there early enough to stake your claim. We never struggled finding a spot to drop our stuff (even if we weren’t up early), but if you do, the pool concierges will help you. The waitstaff around the pool is also wonderful! They are quick and super pleasant!!! The Food Chef’s kiss!!! Every restaurant we went to was top tier! Our favorites were the French (order the filet mignon and the onion soup!!!!!!), the Asian Fusion (the hibachi table was fun, but the menu is even better. The yellow curry was to die for!!!), and Oceana (order the mussels and then order some more!!!). Seaside Grille for lunch was great, (the aguachile and the fruit salad in the pineapple were delish!!!). Another HUGE benefit of this resort vs. others is the amount of food served poolside. They have a standing grill restaurant that serves burgers, salads, hot dogs, nachos, chips & guac to order as well as a build your own wood fired pizza. Louis was amazing and brought special ingredients just for us! They also had a different “special” meal each day-sushi and tuna, paella, seafood, coconut drinks…it was never ending. Can we talk about coffee???? Coco Cafe is open 24 hours and is better than Starbucks. The Coco Cafe coffee (that’s a special drink) is SO good, but everything was excellent. We started each day with coffee and pastries, and ended each night with a cappuccino. The baristas were so kind and friendly and made better coffee than I’ve ever had. The Rooms Book the swim out. It’s worth it!!! The rooms themselves are beautiful and are equipped with anything and everything you need. No need to pack your own shampoo, conditioner, body wash, or lotion. They are stocked in the room and smell delicious! Your mini bar will be stocked with whatever you ask for and room service is just a phone call away. Preferred Club We booked preferred club, but don’t know if we would do it again. The exclusive restaurant is delicious and access to the club is really nice, however, I don’t know that using them and having access to them was worth the extra cost. There’s SO much to do, so much quality food at the other restaurants, and everything is at your finger tips whether you are or are not in preferred, that I don’t know that it’s worth the extra money. Just my opinion! Final Notes 100/10 vacation. It was a DREAM. I can’t stress enough how much the entertainment team positively impacted our trip, how delicious the food was, how incredible the atmosphere, shows, assortment of activities were, and how breathtaking the grounds, beach, and pool are. Book it!! (And take me back with you!!!!) Secrets Maroma Beach…I left part of my heart with you. We’ll be back!!!!
