Welcome aboard the Northern Belle, where the elegant style of the 1930s is brought vibrantly to life in the luxurious carriages of this fabulous train. Departing from 60 stations around the UK, you will travel in style through the beautiful landscapes of Britain. Handcrafted interiors and beautiful materials are masterfully employed in each of the six carriages. Named and designed after historic castles and stately homes, each carriage has its own distinct décor. Alnwick, named after a fortress in Northumberland, offers splendid marquetry depicting floral motifs and castles. Warwick features gorgeous 800-year-old oak paneling. Or perhaps you will ride in Glamis, named after the 14th century home that the future Queen Elizabeth grew up in, which was also the setting for the Bard's Macbeth.
