Trip 23 was an excellent vacation from start to finish, highlighted by wonderful meals, experiences, drinks and renewal with the amazing VIM staff. We had an excellent experience with the E gates at the Cancun airport, waiting on luggage and locating our transportation thru Local Tours (Santiago Chavez) took the shortest amount of time we've experienced in recent trips. Jose, our driver had ice cold cerveza on hand and whisked us to VIM quickly. Joselo at the Prive check-in provided our room quickly and efficiently. He was very kind, informative and welcoming. After changing to pool attire, we made our way to the huge main pool and reconnected with the best bartenders in the business, Joel, Johnny, Jose, Diego, Michel, Sonia, Abelardo, Jameer and Veronica. A new cocktail made it's appearance, the Cantarito, which was delicious and became a regular selection. Meals were so appetizing, so far, never a disapointment. The beef tostada at the food truck and the hamburger were delicious and Miguel, the manager at the food truck insured our food was piping hot. Lunch the next day was at Mar and Tierra, served professionally and cordially by Bennick one of the reasons we alway return. Samuel, Mar and Tierra's manager seated us close to the ocean, a perfect location, perfect weather and a stunning view of the gulf. Isidro was our server for our next meal at Mar and Tierra, he recognized us and provided wecome guidance with our meal selection. This is what brings us back, consistancy, customer consideration year after year. Evening entertainment, cocktails at Don Miguel's and meals at the various restaurants were impeccable. Alan at Don Miguel always takes excellent care of us and keeps the cocktails flowing exactly how we describe them. A new favorite is the French 75 which the mixologists provided perfectly. Dinner at L'olivio was expertly served by Jose and on another occasion by Blanca. We were perusing the menu and she politely suggested Sea Bass piccata. We agreed to try something new and it was so good that we ordered a third plate to split between us. We were very grateful for her suggestion for such an amazing meal. Each trip is always an opportunity to catch up with old friends, David and Imelda at Sisal, Jorge, Noami, Jose Luis, and Isaac at Le Marche. Daniel at L'Alsace, Angel, Yolanda and Edgar who are everywhere about the resort. The entertainment team deserve special mention, they really keep the party going, sexy Lorenzo, Israel, Carlos, Zyanja, and Pablo. I'm missing some but they all did an amazing job at the pool and the shows. On our last day Mariella checked us out, she is the sweetest at the Prive lounge that we've met so far. We will be returning in September for 9 days and have our countdown clock currently keeping track. The VIM has never disappointed us in the last 12 years. We miss those staff members who are no longer with us but we are happy to meet new ones. The food, staff, grounds, cocktails, beach, and value keep us returning, we've tried other resorts but have yet to find a close contender. See you in Semtember!

Valentine Imperial is an absolutely beautiful resort. Beautiful clean, well kept, lush grounds. We stayed in the top floor Dunas suites right at the ocean. Building #16. There was reviews of it being quite a walk to the lobby/ courtyard/restaurant / main areas of the resort but isn’t really..even with heels on.. It is a beautiful loungey walk through the pool area maybe 7 minutes and you can always call for a golf cart to take you anywhere you want to go! Next we may try emerald suite or the golden superior suite and we heard while there the base level junior suites are great, spacious and central to everything! Of course many YouTube videos watched before and after booking so can see all the rooms, don’t watch too many tho…leave Some to the imagination! The staff are so welcoming, the atmosphere and all the staff ie service and entertainment are excellent. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and lush! The entertainment crew was fun. Lots of areas to lounge on the very extensive area of beach front, beach volleyball and…yes multiple drink waiter and waitresses frequenting past you even on the beach….and around pool areas. We spent two afternoons over at the golden swim out rooms pool little quieter atmosphere they have their own bar and food over there lots of food and drink :Paloma, and drink of the day was always great, options around the main pool the chip truck style food options, taco, burrito,burger, etc.if you want to stay at pool or you can go to main buffet for lunch, just have to put your sundress or shorts back on :) which had more options of amazing fresh food than I’ve ever seen at a buffet!!!! , yes Canadians can even get an actual Caesar!!! you cant go wrong here! French restaurant had a live chello player, amazing fillet M and French onion soup, Italian live violinist, amazing pasta of course lasagna, Mexican outdoor space was gorgeous and all had red and white house wine one of our faves: an amazing Malbec, and Chivas Regal scotch at all bars, at beach steak and seafood red snapper and too many types of melt in your mouth steaks to mention! And it is always fun to dress up, collars can be long or short sleeve polo or button, and closed toe for men, ladies can have open dressy sandals, Don Miguel piano bar and fun drinks martinis, Fun events in event hall rotate each night and then head out into the open air courtyard and bar for live Music house band most Nights playing great classic hits! It isn’t a 20-30 yr old party scene if that is what you are Looking for head up to Cancun, but lots of fun, we are in our late forties- there were a Couple of wedding parties there in mid 20’s and they appeared to be having fun….Aprox 30 or so mins from airport, we used MTS- Mexico travel solutions .. after plane delay due to weather in Canada and over one hour waiting to get our bags at cancun airport…. There was still someone there to take us to the resort !

I'd like to thank the Valentin Imperial Resort and staff for their superior service during our stay. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for the perfect escape. Also, a special thanks to the Go-Team members, like Pablo and Israel, for making the resort feel like our home away from home. Much Thanks, Colin & Julia

Hospitality was great! I loved the food, especially the buffet and French restaurant. I also loved the pools, and super clear ocean. Would highly recommend.

The room was beautiful, yes open to the room and you hear your partners business but, whatever, we’re married! Food, a lot of reviews said it was mediocre but it surpassed my expectation and was delicious! Staff was very friendly, passing by staff they all say hello. Everything was fantastic!
