Spectacular resort in natural setting but restaurants hit & miss.
My wife and I (62 & 72) spent a week at this magnificent property Dec 6-13, 2025. It was our first visit here and we loved the natural beauty and abundant wildlife everywhere we looked. The room was spotless and well appointed and the staff were all very friendly. Tipping was not expected but was appreciated even in small amounts. The large pool is “party central” and so we moved over to the quieter Gold pool after our first day where chairs in the shade were available most mornings without a hassle. Our only issue was that (1) The buffet was not open for dinner and (2) The food at the themed restaurants was “hit and miss”. Some meals were exceptional and some terrible. The salmon Wellington and steaks at the Mar & Tierre were overcooked and tough as nails. That said, the baked sea bass and salmon dishes at Alsace and Oliveo were fabulous! I had beef three times and it was tough every time including the Filet Mignon at Alsace. Just avoid all beef!!! The buffet was great but not open for dinner. This is a great resort if you choose your meals wisely!

We had a swim up room and it was absolutely stunning!! The food and drinks are everything you could want! Everyone is so friendly and very helpful!! Diago was the best server we had the whole trip! But everything and everyone was so wonderful!

THE BEST RESORT EVER
My best friend had her wedding here and it was AMAZING. The people are so friendly and wonderful. Shoutout to Dora and Arturo for going above and beyond. ❤️❤️

Everything was wondering! The view and the room and drink and the staff was so friendly and helpful! This place is definitely a very luxurious and accommodating. We came here for a friend's wedding and everything turned out beautiful. 5 stars for everything except the room service, sometimes we would have to call back for room service because the staff was overwhelmed and it took around 1 hour to an hour thirty for food and our mini fridge never got refilled but for us it wasn't that big of a deal and that would be the only downside of this experience. But showing up and checking in, we were served a glass of champagne and felt spoiled!

Wonderful stay, the food was great and all of the people were so nice! We loved celebrating our honeymoon here. It was great to have so many options for dinner and the night shows were a great experience. Definitely recommend the churros! The band was great and time by the pool was a favorite activity. The beach views were beautiful.
