Overall we had a wonderful stay thanks to the entertainment crew. The entertainment staff were by far the best part of our holiday, if they weren’t there our review rating would be a lot lower - all the entertainment staff made the negatives of the trip feel much better, Israel, Carlos, Lorenzo, Sariy, Oscar, Nora, Raphael - all amazing, so engaging, made us feel so welcome, you could join in anything you wanted but also weren’t pushed into anything you didn’t want to do. They all deserve a raise! There were negatives… Maintenance men on your balcony at 8:30am, opening your curtains on the second floor in your nightware at that time in the morning was quite distressing, workmen basically saw me in my underwear - reported to a lady in reception on the day it happened and asked her to raise a report. The next day we went for feedback and spoke to Fernado, he advised nothing had been raised therefore he then raised the issue again . The following day the Manager called our room to advise “ it was maintenance men on our balcony”. Given I already knew that (and told them that) my response was “WHY were they on our balcony” at 8:30am and why had no one told us…..no response given to that, they thought that wasn’t an issue, I beg to differ. The other issues were around the pool bar staff, soooo grumpy, if you didn’t tip every drink some would completely ignore you! Not our experience at other resorts Further issues around booking the Teppanyaki, you’re told you can only book in person at 10am, however this isnt true, some areas would take your booking at 9am, so when you went to queue for a booking at 9:55 they told you 40 people where ahead of you (despite there been no one in the area)- have a rule or don’t, but make it fair for all guests- again reported to Fernado at reception, no real response The hotel itself is beautiful, you need to visit to experience the amazing entertainment, but the rest of the service isn’t 5*

Had a wonderful time at the Valentin. Service was great, food was good and the pools and beach were awesome! Stars in a junior deluxe room and had an issue with the bathroom and I do think the junior suites need updating. But everything else was fantastic. Night life was great and restaurants were good!

Room was excellent, good service and delicious food. The beach was also beautiful! We went with family and really enjoyed the new cafe Sisal, the shows and the Churro Cart!

Always a beautiful and relaxing location! Our 5th visit and will be back for 6th! Muy excelente! Pool great, beach great, service perfection!

Great place! Relaxing, great food! Great sunrises and beach! Excellent food and hospitality! Clean comfortable rooms!
