Great times in Calistoga

Worthy of a trip. Beautiful place. Looked like a typical 5 star resort so nothing unique in experience but that doesn’t change the fact that it is beautiful and relaxing.

Lovely Stay in Napa Valley!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

This was a fantastic stay as a base for visiting Napa Valley! Beautiful rooms, pool, gym, and a great restaurant. Michael, Zowie, and Elizabeth at Solbar went completely above and beyond to make us feel welcome- we enjoyed the restaurant so much! Excellent dinner, drinks (homeade root beer!!), and breakfast were make special by the kindness and professionalism of servers who actually like their job!!

Relaxed, Private, and Genuinely Welcoming

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Solage makes you feel genuinely cared for from the moment you arrive. Management was exceptionally attentive and responsive throughout our stay, the presence that elevates an already lovely property into something that feels truly personal. Mineral Pools The mineral pools are a standout feature. What we especially appreciated was the access hours extending well into the evening — a thoughtful touch that allows guests to unwind on their own schedule rather than racing the clock. The pool vibes overall were exactly what you want: relaxed, unhurried, and beautiful. Cottages & Privacy The cottage layout is well designed. While the individual cottages sit in close proximity to one another, each has its own private courtyard that remains completely screened from neighbors. The result is a combination of privacy and walkability — you feel tucked away without feeling isolated, and getting around the property is effortless. Food The food was excellent across the board — another area where Solage delivers. Overall, genuinely attentive hospitality, thoughtful design, and an atmosphere that invites you to truly let go. A wonderful Calistoga stay we'd return to without hesitation.

Great Experience

We stayed here with friends while riding with Backroads. Part of the Auberge collection. Luxurious service from start to finish. Beautiful pool and spa. Rooms are actually individual cottages which are spacious and luxurious. Very private. Gorgeous grounds.

The only bad part was leaving!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I'm not sure how to outdo this trip! The location was terrific, it was an easy bike ride to town. The entire resort is very peaceful. We booked a spa treatment while we were there. The mudslide is NOT to be missed. The food was all top notch! I loved the private patios with the fountain and the star jasmine in bloom...smelling divine!
