The hotel is about to close for a major renovation and it shows. Completely under staffed. Staff were very pleasant and supportive but overwhelmed I guess because people either quit or left given the imminent closure. Rooms and views can be nice albeit tired and barely maintained. Service in the restaurants is beyond bad, you will wait for everything and wait for more. I won’t go on any longer. Maybe it gets better when the renovation is complete but how can a property that is Ritz branded treat its guests like this? If it happens now it will happen again.

This hotel is totally unimpressive. It’s a Marriott trying (and failing) to provide an elevated Ritz-Carlton experience. Spend your money at a better hotel than this.

Fantastic stay from start to finish! Beautiful property and great location. We traveled for the Miami Open but also for a romantic weekend and we were not disappointed. The suite had amazing views, the room service was excellent and all the staff was helpful with what ever we needed. We did not even have time to take advantage of the spa or some of the restaurants but we really enjoyed riding the bikes along the ocean path. It was also a short drive to the Bal Harbour shops which were amazing. We would definitely stay here again! This oceanfront property is perfect for couples or families.

They had a face paint lady who was amazing at the pool for the kids.

A terrible hotel, and the worst service I have ever experience. The beach never has chairs available and you need to tip your way to get chairs, after spending a crazy amount for a connecting suite for presidents weekend. The breakfast room was disgusting, belongs in a ramada in and def not a ritz carlton property. Is a slander to the brand. Further - maid service sometimes came sometimes didnt only once a day. We would ask for things and it just would never show up. Its the last time I am staying there. Its a horrific place. Worst of all we were accused for minibar charges, which we didnt consume. Our children were playing with it but in spite of us making a fuss about this and our kids being kids, this super high margin items - after paying so much for a suite and room - was a non negotiable item they wouldn't turn a blind eye for. Just bad people ... bad management. It should be renamed and called the hilton its not a ritz cartlon property. Its my last time there (forever) and maybe my last ritz carlton. Shameful
