Grace Bay Club

My husband and I had an incredible stay at Grace Bay Club. Our room was modern, beautifully updated, and felt both luxurious and comfortable. Breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious. The service everywhere was consistently friendly, attentive, and always welcoming. A special highlight was our concierge, Tiffany. She was so helpful, positive, and on top of every detail. She exudes positive island vibes in the best way. She made our trip smoother, more relaxing, and more memorable. We can’t wait to return.

Way to annoy guests at check in and check out. First off their pre-arrival team is completely useless. If they didn’t exist that would be a plus one star; right off the bat our expectations were set really low. Seemingly not super interested in her job, slow to respond (a week!), and did not do the one restaurant reservation I asked for. We got a table but they couldn’t find a reservation in our name. At check in we arrived early with 3 small children. The hotel was low occupancy as confirmed by several staff members but somehow we had to wait about 4 hours for a room. Not a great first impression. The rest of the hotel experience was very good. There were great employees and some not so great ones. One of our assigned concierges was great (Ramsey) and we didn’t feel like the other one was that interested in making our experience great- responses seemed perfunctory and even dismissive. Room itself was gorgeous (2 br suite), breakfast was excellent, and housekeeping service was consistently great (shout out to Veronica from housekeeping). Beach is lovely, the one bummer I’d say is the family pool. Quite small and not very impressive, with a bar at the end that kills the family vibe. Now day of checkout our flight is delayed. We ask if we can check out later since the flight is delayed (and we waited 4 hours to check in day one, inspite of low occupancy). Nope, we were told to get out at 11 “because other guests were arriving early.” Like what??? We did too, and we were told check in time is 3pm. You can’t have rules for one set of guests, but not another. Maybe it was someone else’s turn to wait for a 3pm check in, and they could be reminded that check in is 3pm. Our concierge (the disinterested one) has disengaged and stopped checking on us. This was the vibe from him all along, just doing his job but not that interested in the guest experience. We were talking about a trip back before this exit debacle but their mishandling of this situation is very telling.

I rate this resort a 10 out 10! The property is gorgeous the view is breathtaking. Friendly staff and full breakfast available on the beach! My husband and I didn't want to leave.

Grace Bay Club is located on a perfect and pristine stretch of beach in T&C. The hotel and resort has an elegant, laid back Caribbean vibe. Our 1 BR suite in the adults only section was HUGE and included a coffee maker, mini fridge, washer/dryer, an extremely comfortable bed, and a balcony/terrace that overlooks the ocean. The rooms were recently renovated and have nice furnishings, but one should note that the furnishings/decor do not look anything like the renderings on the hotels website. They really should update the photos on their website. Grace Bay Club does provide extra amenities including bug spray, aloe, and high quality sunscreen so you don’t need to pack your own. There is a well equipped fitness center, several beautiful pools, and a great variety of dining options on the property. The food on-site is fresh, innovative, and delicious. Complimentary breakfast every day included fruits, yogurts, freshly baked pastries, gluten free options, and more. Omelets, eggs, French toast and more can be ordered with waitstaff. Our server, Junie, started each morning with energy and enthusiasm. She instantly makes you feel like part of the Grace Bay family. We had lunch on the beach every day (6 in total) and never had to repeat the same meal twice. Speaking of the beach, our beach server Aceliene, took excellent care of us every day. We never needed to leave our beach chairs as he attended to our every need. There is other staff that pops by to offer complimentary scoops of homemade sorbet, boba with fruits, and other cool sweet treats. Don’t pass these by as they are delicious! Grace Bay Club is also ideally located for eating off property at some of the best restaurants T&C has to offer. You can walk to several amazing dinner options in 3 to 10 minutes. We made our reservations in advance, but if you don’t want to do that, your personal concierges at Grace Bay Club will do that for you. While we did not need help with dinner reservations, our concierges, Trey and Antonio, stepped in and assisted us with some very specific, personal requests during our stay. Our not-so-simple requests became opportunities for Trey and Antonio to show us how they could assist us with agility and creative solutions. The only problem with Grace Bay Club is that eventually you will have to leave this paradise and return to the real world. We were truly sad to leave, but we will be back!
