Reviews for Grace Bay Club

Great view, subpar service and amenities

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 7 hours ago

I spent a lot of time researching my ideal hotel in Turks and Caicos- specifically Grace Bay as it is known for its beautiful water and beach. The view was indeed A+. Unfortunately that was the only highlight. When we arrived at the hotel we were barely greeted and took longer than expected to get us situated. The overall vibe was friendly but not really interested in working or going above and beyond. I expected more when paying over 1K a night. The room, which was said to be recently redone, reminded me of a 70’s style art deco Florida hotel. Empty refrigerator, no amenities besides a small bottle of premade Espresso Martini mix. Bathroom was bare bones. The buffet breakfast was nice. Plenty of options and service at the restaurants in general was much better than at the Spa, beach or pool. The spa was nothing special. A couple of rooms and again minimal amenities. The steam room was out of order. We were told by our butler that we needed to get chairs early before breakfast. The beach and pool staff were basically nonexistent. They only came by when we went looking for them. They had flags to signal them but that often went unnoticed. Food and drinks took over 30 minutes to get. Definitely faster to just walk up to the bar/restaurant. While the beach view and ocean were spectacular, it is important to note that there is constantly large boats coming in and out, blasting music (in the swim area) to pick up/drop off guests for excursions. Note that these excursions which they highly recommended and pushed were in large (100+ people) boats. It did not look like what they frequently post/advertise. The hotel is located on a long strip with other hotels which made it nice to walk but unfortunately it was extremely crowded. The Infinity restaurant on property stood out. Beautiful views. Service and food were very good and we ended up eating there most nights. We headed to the Ritz for dinner one night. We would not return to The Grace Bay Club but would definitely come back to Turks. We enjoyed Parrot Cay when we went years ago so was looking for something different but along those lines.

Flawless 28th Anniversary Trip – An Absolute Paradise!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

My wife and I just returned from an unforgettable stay at the Grace Bay Club to celebrate our 28th anniversary (along with 20 and 25th), and we are already counting down the days until we can return. It is such a beautiful place with incredible food, stunning surroundings, and world-class people. The entire experience was seamless from the very start. A huge thank you to Dieula in pre-arrival concierge for her amazing help coordinating our itinerary, excursions, and dining—she made the planning completely stress-free. Our room was incredibly nice, spotless, and beautifully maintained throughout our stay. The beach and ocean water are absolute perfection, and the setup of beach chairs and umbrellas made it so easy to just relax and soak it all in. The dining was a massive highlight, but a special shout-out has to go to Garth and Andre at Offshore. They took such great care of us—the fish tacos were phenomenal, the drinks were perfect, and the music created the absolute best island vibe with a country twist. Every single person we encountered was incredibly friendly and genuinely welcoming. If you are looking for a paradise with great food, a flawless beach, and exceptional hospitality, this is it. We cannot wait to go back!

I found Grace Bay Club one of the friendlest and accomodating resorts we have ever been to. People were always willing to help in any way. Always greeting you in am or pm with a smile.

GBC sits in a beautiful location in the heart of Grace Bay. The beach is beautiful plus the hotel staff, facilities, and food/bev are all first-rate. Will definitely be back.

Great island and people

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

So the service and quality of employees are 5 star. The pools and other areas are very nice. We stayed in the Estates and room was very clean and again all service excellent. As we stay in 5 star facilities, the rooms are a little old and get a 4 and restaurants good not great. People and service make up for most so really a 4.5. For the cost over 2000 per day, should be a solid 5. Again beautiful island and people!
