Reviews for Grace Bay Club

Not worth it

Truly would not recommend. The location is undeniably beautiful, right on Grace Bay, but unfortunately everything else fell short. This hotel advertises itself as a 5-star property and charges 5-star prices, yet the service was far from that standard. We’ve stayed at many other 5-star resorts, so we have a good sense of what to expect. From the moment we checked in, the experience was disappointing. Although we were told our room was ready, we were asked to wait about 30 minutes for the concierge to give us a tour. During that time, two other groups who arrived after us were taken straight to their rooms. The tour felt unnecessary and made the wait even more frustrating. The room itself was very large—we had a 2-bedroom luxury villa, but it was located on the first floor directly behind the Grill restaurant. Because of that, there were constant delivery and trash trucks throughout the day, which took away from what should have been a relaxing setting. Another issue was the zero-entry showers, which caused the entire bathroom floor to get wet every time someone showered. Our first night we dined at Infiniti. We asked for kids’ menus when we were seated but had to request them four more times before they finally arrived—each time being told “it will just take a minute.” The food was also extremely overpriced for the quality. Breakfast at the Grill (which was included) was fine, but nothing memorable. Overall, the biggest issue was the staff’s attitude. Requests were often met with annoyance, and service was slow and unhelpful. For a hotel positioning itself as a luxury experience, it simply didn’t deliver. I’m sure there are plenty of other hotels in Turks and Caicos—likely at a lower price point—that would provide a much better stay.

A wonderful stay at the Grande Dame of Grace Bay Beach

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Had a excellent, restful long weekend at GBC. Stayed in a junior suite within the Estates, which was recommended for being more secluded and quiet and did not disappoint. Our concierge, Fredna, was wonderful -- responsive, proactive and very knowledgeable. Grace Bay Beach was the highlight of the trip and exactly as you might imagine one of the most beautiful stretches of white sand in the world. Dinner at Infiniti was very good -- tasty rendang and crab spaghetti -- although we were seated too close to the live music, which was a bit too stereotypical "tropical 80s pop" for our tastes. Breakfasts each morning at The Grill were spectacular. Incredible buffet (included) and our wait staff -- Sonny and Emina -- were delightful. Kudos also to Jim, who brought us lunch and drinks while we basked on the beach. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, and the housekeeping service was among the very best we've experienced. Plenty of bottled waters and the room was made perfect every morning and on turndown every evening. Relative to what you can pay at other high-end resorts, we considered GBC competitive/fair in terms of price. Only criticism: We paid for a private SUV to pick us up from the airport, but the resort had misplaced our reservation and we waited for about 40 minutes for another car. The resort quickly made amends by allowing us to check into our room early and make the most of our first day on property. Overall, a very pleasurable vacation; we would be happy to return.

The Best!

We had the best time during our week long stay! Our villa was amazing, the food incredible and the staff was fantastic! A special shout out to beach and pool servers Richie, Reggie and Steven; and our concierges Austin and Ramsey for taking care of us during our stay. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive - we were in good hands the entire time. We booked spa treatments and I have to say my massage was the best I’ve ever had. Book Infiniti restaurant on a Friday night to see and be seen. Oh, and the complimentary breakfast buffet each morning was incredible! Everything from scrambled eggs, potatoes, fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, sausages, bacon, bagels, lox, salad. It was all freshly made and so good. Highly recommend this resort, we will definitely be back!!

A memorable stay at Grace Bay Club

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Our family recently spent several nights at Grace Bay Club and came away with a genuine appreciation for the people who make the property feel special. The setting on Grace Bay is, of course, beautiful, but what stayed with us most was the warmth and attentiveness of the team. We happened to be celebrating both of our birthdays during the trip, and the staff could not have been more thoughtful in helping make the occasion feel special. Traveling with our 9-month-old son also adds its own dynamics to a trip, but everyone at the resort treated him with such kindness and warmth that it made the stay feel particularly welcoming as a young family. The pool and breakfast teams were exceptional throughout. Antonia, Wilthamar, Marie, Uxslene, Brunderlie, Fredelin, Stanley, and Royalton created an atmosphere that was both relaxed and thoughtful, and the kind of hospitality that anticipates what you need before you even ask. Vibhu, the restaurant manager, offered terrific recommendations and made for genuinely enjoyable conversation. Garth & Andre were a highlight at the taco shack. Great vibes with them all day long. Our concierge team — Narvy & Tiffany — were excellent from the moment we arrived: responsive, attentive, and clearly invested in ensuring everything ran smoothly. Finally, General Manager Franklyn deserves recognition for the tone he sets across the property. Grace Bay Club sits on one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean, but what truly elevates the experience is the people who welcome you each day with genuine warmth. We’re grateful to the entire team and look forward to returning.

Perfect Caribbean Getaway

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We had an amazing trip at Grace Bay Club, one of if not the nicest Caribbean resorts I've been to (I've been to 9 total). Not cheap, worth every dollar. The breakfast was particularly incredible, fresh juices and extensive options, all complementary. It's a wide, low rise resort so the beach chairs are spread out, making it feel not too busy. Lunch service at the beach every day. The pools were also wonderful (3 pools total - we hung out at the adults only). The Inifiniti bar/restaurant was veryy nice, worth going to even if not staying at resort. Make a res ahead of time for dinner, walk in for drinks. Pricey. My fiance has dietary restrictions and they were incredibly accommodating with food. Only feedback - don't do Indian on Friday nights at the Grill. Shoutout to Tracy the waitress, Veronica the cleaning lady, and our masseuse first name M (forget the name). The spa is nice and clean, in a quiet space.
