Owned by native Antiguans, the 30 cottages at Cocos Hotel roost on a cliff and overlook iridescently clear waters, where deep blues and minty greens shimmer in streaks on the horizon. The best way to enjoy the view is swinging in a hammock suspended from the roof of each cottage’s rustic terrace, or drifting to sleep on the netting-enveloped princess bed. Chef Pam Clay's West Indian take on Tuscan cuisine attracts a local following.

Friendly staff, great food, amazing views. I loved everything. The manager Kris was extremely friendly and made sure everyone was happy and satisfied. The grill food was so delicious. Our view from our room was breathtaking. The beaches were beautiful and never overcrowded. This is such a relaxing island.

Well located on a headland on the sheltered west coast in perhaps the most scenic part of Antigua and convenient if you have a rental car, to explore the rest of the island. Two excellent beaches with facilities; safe swimming although the shallow waters mean that snorkelling visibility is a little cloudy. We watched snipe (fish) hunting other fish from our table while we ate. Pleasant hillside cottages with very comfortable beds - beware: you may oversleep! (Not suitable for the disabled - and no TV!). The restaurant overlooks the sea with good food and particularly friendly and helpful staff. Evening entertainment in the bar/lounge section. What’s not to like? Highly recommended.

My husband & I had a great time celebrating my 60th birthday at Cocos! The staff was always smiling & very nice to us. The food was good quality with a few different choices at every meal & if you were a little extra hungry you could ask your server for a bigger portion. Drinks were decent also & at the beach bar they would have a special drink of the day. It's very relaxing at the resort with clear, beautiful water & clean, pleasant walkable beaches. Cocos is built on a cliff, so there is plenty of walking up/down hills & stairs. I just had a TKR 6 months b4 our trip & I was fine with it all as long as I just took my time. Plus I knew what I was getting into b4 hand bc I did all my research. I just chalked it up to my daily exercise. We always enjoy Antigua! Can't wait to return.
