Cocos Hotel

We were after a high quality but laid back holiday in Antigua. We were drawn to Cocos by the advertised location between two excellent beaches, the accommodation type and the high quality dining. The two beaches are superb; coral sand and calm turquoise waters. There are bars on both beaches and a superb grill on Valley beach. The individual cottages are excellent (we were in a sunset cottage). The food was even better than expected. Good choice, excellent, fresh, homemade quality. Service was top quality but not overbearing. The pool is a bit of an afterthought and I can't recall seeing anybody in it but why would you want to go in a pool when you have two world class quiet, beaches to choose from. The beach loungers are also plentiful and good quality. Looking forward to returning.

Wow. We have just returned to the UK after 15 nights in Coco's. What an absolutely amazing experience. Firstly I need to commend the staff. Everyone we came across from reception to serving staff, bar staff, house keeping and pool boys were awesome. Louise greeted us. Such a lovely, bubbly, funny lady with a wicked sense of humour. She gave a great first impression and was a joy to be around every time we saw her. Kris and George were on hand to deal with any issues (they were none) and their prime focus was to ensure we were having a great time. These 2 gentlemen are great ambassadors for Coco's and clearly lead by example to make sure their guests feel totally relaxed and enjoy their vacation. Maria on reception is another Coco's hero. She is always happy and smiling and is someone you just look forward to seeing whenever you go past the reception desk. Maria is very confident and personable and excels in her role. She is another great ambassador for Coco's and has a very bright future in front of her in whatever she chooses to do. All the staff in the restaurant and the bars are very welcoming and friendly. They always greeted us with a smile and very quickly got to know our drinks preferences and were always on hand to keep our glasses full. They always asked how our day was and it was very clear that our happiness and contentment was their prime concern. The food was out of this world. All Inclusive but from an A la Carte menu. Plenty of choice and freshly cooked. The flavour combinations were out of this world. Definitely the best food I've ever had and I've been on a lot of holidays. A great choice of wines and premium spirits. The cocktails are a must to try and they have a cocktail and juice of the day. Entertainment every night to cover all tastes. Look out for the 2 guys who sing about The Big Bamboo. They perform on Friday I believe and are hilarious. We had a Sunset Plunge Pool Cottage. It truly lived up to expectations. Spotlessly clean, fresh towels every day, a mini bar which is replenished every day and views to die for. The outside shower is a lovely experience. Body wash and shampoo and conditioner are also provided. The white sandy beaches are out of this world too. Both beach's have a pool bar and plenty of sunbeds and parasols. Bar snacks are available if you're hungry or a bit peckish between meals. We never were. The pool area is very picturesque and the pool is crystal clear and very well maintained. In summary, if you're looking for a chilled, relaxing Caribbean experience with top quality service and fantastic food Coco's is the place to go. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone. We will definitely be returning again very soon for all the reasons I've mentioned above in my review but mainly to see our new friends, The Coco's Team who made our holiday such an amazing experience. Best resort we’ve been to all around the Caribbean. Gorgeous beaches wrap the resort. All rooms have wonderful views. Food is amazing. Service is great! Maria the person at the front desk happened to hear about my daughter’s birthday and two nights later, our dinner table was decorated with flowers and a champagne bottle. She felt very special. Nightly music/entertainment was nice. This is not a resort to party! All ends at 10 pm. Great place to relax! I would recommend to everyone.

Fantastic, pricey but worth it.

If you are looking for a place to completely unplug, recharge, and be thoroughly spoiled, Cocos Hotel Antigua is it. My recent stay here was nothing short of magical, and it completely exceeded expectations in every way.
