About the Hotel

Rising majestically above the 600 acre beach front resort of Anse Chastanet, Jade Mountain Resort on St. Lucia’s south-western Caribbean coastline is a cornucopia of organic architecture celebrating St. Lucia’s stunning scenic beauty. Architect owner Nick Troubetzkoy has expanded upon his philosophy of building in harmony with Caribbean nature in his creation of Jade Mountain St. Lucia. The bold architectural design – individual bridges leading to exceptional infinity pool sanctuaries and rugged stoned-faced columns reaching towards the sky – makes Jade Mountain St. Lucia one of the Caribbean’s most mesmerizing resort experiences.

Reviews for Jade Mountain

You Won't Regret Anything! A MUST STAY!

A Long Overdue Review — and Worth Every Word I’m late writing this review, but I’m so glad I’m finally getting around to it. Jade Mountain is, without question, the best hotel experience I have ever had. Hands down. We visited in October 2021, at the tail end of the pandemic — back when we were still testing before flights and wearing masks. While the process of getting there was daunting, the moment we stepped onto the island and were whisked away on a seven-minute helicopter ride to Anse Chastanet, greeted with a sweet, fruity cocktail, my friend and I both knew we were in for something extraordinary. BEFORE BOOKING My friend had married in 2020 but never had the chance to properly celebrate, so I reached out to Anse Chastanet (Jade’s sister resort) to see if I could surprise her with a room upgrade that included a pool. The team there went above and beyond: while the only pool suite at Anse was already booked, they graciously upgraded us to Jade Mountain with a Sky Sanctuary suite. Although the Sky Sanctuary doesn’t include a private pool, the staff made sure our experience was even more special. They arranged a private swim and drinks session at the Jade Mountain Club infinity pool, located at the top of the resort’s main restaurant. My friend was floored — she had never experienced anything like it. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our Major Domo (butler), who walked us through every detail of the room and ensured we felt completely at home. THE ROOM At first, I wasn’t sure about the idea of an open-air room — but once you see that view, you wouldn’t want a wall blocking it either. Our suite was divided into four elegant areas: an entryway and small seating area, bedroom, bathroom, and living space. Everything was spacious, serene, and beautifully designed. Each day, we received a Bento box of special treats, an iPad to browse menus and book spa treatments, and a dedicated phone to reach our Major Domo anytime. He kept us effortlessly on schedule — confirming dinner reservations, arranging excursions, and coordinating rides up and down the hill between Jade Mountain and Anse Chastanet Beach (perfect for when we didn’t feel like walking). The room even came with tote bags for beach days — a thoughtful touch. EXCURSIONS We made the most of our stay, enjoying: A full-day sail with Captain Kerwin A Lionfish Tasting Dinner with wine pairing A Botanical Garden Tour Rum Tasting A Volcano Tour And some incredible snorkeling Each experience was seamlessly arranged and worth every minute. THE FOOD Every meal was outstanding. You have so many dining options, and it’s worth planning ahead since some experiences are available only on specific days or times. The Jade Mountain Club is reservation-only and exclusive to Jade guests — a must. Do note that certain premium proteins have a small upcharge even with the all-inclusive plan, but honestly, who flies to Saint Lucia for steak? Stick to the seafood, and you’ll be in heaven. All-Inclusive vs. À la Carte Choose the all-inclusive option — it’s absolutely worth it. Even if you’re not a big drinker, the dining experiences alone make it worthwhile. Don’t limit yourself; you’ll end up spending more if you go à la carte. WEATHER Booking at the tale end of October was perfect, still very hot but with moments of showers which helped keep the mosquitos away. OVERALL Every inch of Jade Mountain has been thoughtfully designed — the architecture, the service, the philosophy — all blend into a truly unforgettable experience. My friend spent most of the trip in awe, often saying, “I’m soaking it all in because I don’t think I’ll ever experience this again.” Less than a year later, she returned — this time with her husband for their long-delayed honeymoon, staying in a Star Sanctuary. Whether it’s a honeymoon, a girls’ getaway, or a retreat from everyday life, Jade Mountain remains, to me, the pinnacle of excellence. We’ll be back again and again.

Most Amazing Vacation

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

We visited St Lucia for our 20th anniversary and stayed at Jade Mountain. It was everything we had ever dreamed of and more. It was the most amazing vacation that we have ever had. From the outstanding service, to the breathtaking views, to the 5 star dining, to the unforgettable experiences. We enjoyed every minute and are counting down the days until we go back. There is so much to say about the resort and everything that we did. I will give you the highlights and you will have to make sure you go and visit. With our arrival we booked a helicopter transfer to the resort. It was a 6 or 7 minute ride but it gave us a nice overview of the island. It was cool to see the resort from the air and to arrive in style. Just make sure you pack a change of clothes as your luggage will not arrive until much later. We booked the total romance package and were in a Sun sanctuary. The views from our room were stunning. The huge room with an infinity pool was more than we needed. You never need to leave the room but there is so much more to do. We were greeted and shown to our room by our major dommo. They are available 24 hrs a day and will help with anything that you need. The food was some of the freshest and flavorful we have ever had. The Jade Club had so many options and an ever changing menu. The fresh seafood was a must. We had to try everything. We started every day with room service breakfast in our room. One add on dinner we did was the lion fish dinner. This is highly recommended. We did try the Treehouse and Trou au Diable Beach Restaurant for dinner. They were good but did not compare to the Jade Club. We did so many excursions. Snorkeling, sailing, our first experience scuba diving, yoga, mountain biking, a sunset cruise, a couples massage, a tour of the plantation, a nature hike, tour of the sulfur springs and botanical garden and a tour of the resorts emerald game where the grow so much food for the resort. They were all fun and all were included in our total romance package except the sunset cruise. There are two beaches at the sister resort Anse Chastenet. They are great beaches with amazing snorkeling. It is a hike down many flights of stairs but was worth it. The staff as amazing at the resort. Many of them were locals from the town of Soufriere. They were so genuine and wanted to make sure we had the best time. I wanted to mention the staff that went above and beyond for us. Our major dommos were there did everything that we needed Vince and Ain. The plantation tour by Father Nature Meno. Our first scuba lesson and thanks for your patience Kennias. Sunrise yoga with Chanee, sailing with Kerwin, the Emerald Farms with Edwin and jungle biking with Bike Tyson. Our favorite servers for dinner were Madeline and Sherton. They were all so wonderful. The Troubetzkoy’s have created a slice of paradise on St Lucia. There were a couple of downsides. The resort has open air rooms. There are three walls and the other is open to a stunning view of the Pitons. With the resort in a tropical paradise there are bugs and there are birds. They will be in your room and they are loud. The frogs made a racket at night and the birds at sunrise. It was warm in the room during the day but with the fans it was manageable at night. These will detract from the expense of the resort for some but it did not for us. There are also a lot of stairs. If you can’t walk stairs then this is also not the place for you. It gave us our exercise so we could eat more. It is nice to know these things before going but don’t let it scare you away.

Jade Mountain Resort Honeymoon

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We stayed at Jade Mountain Resort for our honeymoon. We had an amazing stay. Their customer service is top notch. I have never experienced service so excellent. Each person goes above and beyond to care for you during your stay. The staff knew us by name and catered to our individual needs. This resort was so peaceful and private. It was perfect for our honeymoon. They also have many options for activities. We loved the spa, yoga, and mixology class. Other than that we enjoyed our infinity pool and the beach. We are already looking to come back again.

Best resort in the world.

Fantastic experience at Jade Mountain. We’ve vacationed all over the world and I can honestly say that Jade Mountain tops them all. Magnificent views of the Piton peaks dominate the open air sanctuaries, framed like post cards. And the in-room vanishing edge pool was over-the-top. World class dining, beautiful beaches, and exceptional service is what you will receive during your stay. This was our third time visiting this phenomenal property. Can’t wait to come back!

A Sanctuary in Paradise!

This was the most amazing and wonderful stay we've every enjoyed anywhere! Nick Troubetzkoy was clearly a genius visionary and we're honored to have experienced the sensory delight that is Jade Mountain. We snorkeled daily, right off the beach in crystal clear waters teeming with life! The property is stunning. The staff and service are impeccable. The dining is 5-star gourmet and the farm-fresh fruits and produce are mouthwateringly delectable. The views of the Pitons and Anse Chastanet Bay are spectacular. And the in-sanctuary infinity pool is simply living at another level.
