The best Hospitality
My friend and I stayed at Zalu for four nights and we enjoyed our stay. The team at Zalu made our stay so special, they are so kind and friendly. Their hospitality is top for me. During our stay the pool was not working but they gave us vouchers to go to Nungwi dreams and Kendwa sunset. The best!

Rough 1st Day But Got Much Better
I had mixed emotions about giving it a single star or 4 stars. Con: The original three bedroom Villa 5 we had was very dated and the hot water was not working. We had no place to shower for 36 hours. They finally moved us to Villa 1 ocean front and it was amazing. I was very disappointed by the quality of Villa 5 and lack of responsiveness from management and felt only after I reached out to corporate management did things finally move. Also, the pool was out of service the first two days. Apparently this was scheduled but we were never told. I was surprised they accepted reservations knowing maintenance was being done on pool and villas. Pro: the staff was amazing. Super happy and helpful. Constantly went the extra mile. The common spaces like restaurant and pool were very well done and updated. Lastly, we were on full board so meals included. Management could have avoided a bad review by offering a free massage or not charging for laundry or buying drinks to make up for inconvenience but they didn’t.

Amazing
The food is not so great...But the hotel is very beautiful and people are so nice...The pool was not working they gave us vouchers to go to Nungwi dreams and Kendwa Rocks.

Resort is beautiful, spa is amazing
Great experience overall, especially massage with Happy. The massage was one of the best I've had, after my first I booked another for the next day.
