An experience in paradise
Esque Zalu surpassed all our expectations. The resort is stunning, the views are breathtaking. The staff were absolutely amazing, attentive and friendly. The rooms were spacious, full equipped, comfortable and luxurious. It was great value for money and we absolutely loved our stay. We were upgraded to a Seaview room which was great. Also the staff brought me a cake at breakfast for my birthday and sang for me, it was truly special.

Peaceful stay
We recently stayed at Zalu and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is located on the west side of Nungwi, away from the hustle and bustle of the island. However, it is still close enough that you can easily catch a quick tuk-tuk ride to enjoy the local beaches and the great array of surrounding restaurants. A special mention must go to Amina, who kindly checked us in with a warm smile. She was genuinely happy to have us visiting her country, showcasing true warm hospitality and politeness. She is a wonderful asset to the hotel! The property itself was very clean, our room featured a very large bathroom, and the housekeeping staff were incredibly polite. While the grounds were beautifully maintained, it would be a great addition to have a functioning jacuzzi by the pool to fully enjoy the scenic views. The pier is absolutely great, and the staff all around the resort were attentive and welcoming. A fantastic stay at our first trip to Zanzibar.

Absolutely amazing
Super friendly excellent service! Great smiles and lots of activities! The food is outstanding and the walking tour with Robina was so informative, eye opening and heart wrenching!! Truly a blessed experience!! Highly recommend for anyone looking for an amazing relaxing African stay!

Amazing experience in slice of paradise
Beautifully located by the coral rocks at high tide, spacious, 3 old baobabs greet you as you head to the bungalow rooms. Super friendly staff that paid attention to our needs with love & care, as my child has autism and I had an injured foot from before. The jetty is really special. Food delicious. Great value! We will surely come back:)
