More than the renovations
Book then get told of the pool & lounge renovations. No refunds once you book and pay. Get told of additional renovations on arrival. Climb fire escape stairs to get to lifts, walk through paint, dust and smells avoiding the tradesmen. Check that you get an upgrade if you have points. Have a wonderful breakfast and canapés in the Kasara lounge

The staff, without exception, were all excellent. I was impressed by their communication and high-quality service from the hotel entrance to my room. From their smiles and morning greetings, to their smiles that extended into the evening with a "goodnight" greeting.
