Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel

Our stay at Anantara Siam Bangkok was truly exceptional. The hotel offers a beautiful urban sanctuary in the heart of Bangkok, complemented by excellent facilities, elegant surroundings, and convenient walking access to some of the city’s finest shopping destinations. What truly made our experience memorable, however, was the outstanding service. A special thank you to May and Fairy the Lobby Greeters, whose warm welcome, genuine kindness, and professionalism perfectly embodied the spirit of Thai hospitality. We highly recommend Anantara Siam Bangkok and look forward to returning in the future.

As a Minor GHA Titanium member, I arrived at Anantara Siam with high expectations. The hotel honoured my status with a double category upgrade, though the specific room type was unavailable due to full occupancy. To their credit, they proposed sensible and fair alternatives — a gesture I appreciated. The stay had genuine highlights. The location is superb, placing everything of interest within easy reach. The in-house Thai restaurant, Spice Market, is a true highlight. The Executive Lounge was superb as well, and Ms. Bam delivered truly delicate, attentive service — a memorable touch of grace. Housekeeping, too, was flawless, keeping the room impeccably clean throughout my four nights. Unfortunately, the breakfast experience fell noticeably short of five-star standards. The buffet spread is rather limited for a hotel of this calibre, and guests naturally anticipate some variety from day to day. Yet the exact same offerings repeated every morning of my stay. The à la carte order menu offers scant choice as well, providing little respite from the monotony. In short, Anantara Siam excels in location, dining (Spice Market especially), service, and housekeeping — but the repetitive breakfast undermines the luxury experience. A wonderful place overall, just be prepared for culinary repetition.

I went for Sunday Brunch only - I did not stay at the hotel. Bangkok is a food city and the competition is plentiful and standards are high so when I booked a table for the Anantara Sunday Brunch, I was was really excited and expected to taste the flavors of Thailand and Asia. All the reviews were excellent so my expectations were high. The band and entertainment was very nice, the vibe was lively and jovial. The staff and service were attentive, however, the food lacked “umami”. The flavors were okay but nothing special, the only food section, I went back to was the sushi and Indian stations. The melted chocolates with strawberries were exquisite and well made. The seafood raw bar was decent. I expected to see more of the flavors and signature dishes of Thailand and Asia being displayed since we were in Bangkok. The Peking duck was nice but too sweet and was only served with the skin and no meat. Anatara missed the mark here, given this price point for Bangkok, the quality and value should have been much higher. Unless something changes here, I would not come back. A lot stations and food but very little wow factor. In Bangkok, it's all about the wow factor.

Everything was excellent. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, the staff took wonderful care of me. The room was incredibly clean and well-equipped with excellent facilities. The food was also very satisfying and delicious. I truly enjoyed my stay.
