Amazing breakfast experience with Juan L and overall great stay!
From the moment we got dropped off at the Hotel El Convento, we were greeted immediately by the friendly staff who went above and beyond. As soon as we stepped out of our taxi, they took our luggage and delivered them straight to our room. The room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. We had room service AND turn-down service every day. For breakfast, we took advantage of what the hotel restaurant had to offer. Juan L was so attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home! Hotel El Covento is what true hospitality is about, especially thanks to Juan L!

Excellent location and ambiance.
George the bellman was very responsive and helpful. The hotel staff was attuned to our requests. The location was excellent. The front desk personnel are gracious.

Juian L is great! Wonderful service and food!
Juian L was our waiter in the restaurant/bar area inside the hotel and was fabulous. He made us feel very welcomed and shared background in each dish and encouraged the kids to try new and local foods! Awesome time!

Oasis of calm ...
We popped in for a drink in the colonial courtyard. It was cool, in both senses. Drink prices are reasonable for a quality hotel and it was lovely to sit in an oasis of calm away from the hussel and bussel of the old town. If i had to stay in San Juan, I'd stay here!
