Great stay as always. Breakfast buffet staff is amazing - Thida and Warisara are always friendly and always remember the little details.

Overall this hotel was a great choice for our stay in Bangkok. The location worked well for getting around, though it felt more like a business district with less within walking distance than we expected. That said, it was easy to get anywhere we needed. The hotel itself is older but very well maintained. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and had a high end feel without being overdone. Everything felt polished and well cared for. What really made the stay stand out was the Royal Club Lounge. This is what elevated the entire experience. The service there was some of the best we have had. The team was welcoming, consistent, and made the space feel relaxed and easy to enjoy. A special thank you to Pang, who stood out from check in to check out. She was warm, proactive, and went above expectations in every interaction. You can tell she truly cares about the guest experience. We also want to recognize Sarinton at Smooth Curry. We dined there twice and both experiences were excellent. Her service was so thoughtful that we decided to go back again! Overall, this is a hotel that delivers where it matters most. Strong service, comfortable rooms, and an excellent lounge experience. We would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed at the Athenee for a week and had a wonderful experience. It had been nearly 10 years since our last visit, and we were happy to find that the service is still just as exceptional. The front desk and lobby staff were consistently warm, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. As Platinum members, we really appreciated being able to check in early and receive a late checkout, which worked perfectly with our flight schedule. While an upgrade wasn’t immediately available at check-in, the manager kindly let us know that options might open up later if we were willing to move rooms. True to her word, she reached out proactively a few days into our stay, and we were able to upgrade to a spacious one-bedroom suite. We truly appreciated her attentiveness and follow-through. For our welcome gift, we chose the daily breakfast, which was an excellent decision. The main restaurant offers an extensive buffet with a wide variety of cuisines, including Indian, Chinese, Thai, and Western options, along with made-to-order dishes. There’s also a smaller selection available in the lounge. We especially loved the mango sticky rice at the fruit station—it was a highlight! Lounge access was another great platinum perk, with evening cocktail hours that included a nice selection of appetizers. Alcoholic drinks could also be ordered from the menu at no additional charge during that time. We also made good use of the daily laundry/pressing service, which was very convenient. The pool area was lovely, and the attentive staff made it even more enjoyable by offering water and fresh fruit—such a thoughtful touch. The hotel’s location is also a big plus, with easy access to the BTS station and several large shopping malls nearby. Overall, we highly recommend the Athenee and would absolutely stay here again.

This hotel blew us away with its accommodations, service and amenities. We had the Royal Pimai Suite. It felt like a luxury condo and was so spacious for our family of 4. Including a living room and dining room, large entry way. We started our trip to Thailand here and used the hotel as a base camp for all the tourist must-dos. The location in the embsssy district is lovely along with the proximity to the Sky train. When our flight was canceled we ended up spending a bonus night at the end of our 2.5 week stay. Our family couldn’t be happier. The breakfast is absolutely phenomenal and the Thai and Japanese restaurant are top tier dining destinations! We look forward to when we are fortunate enough to return.
