Overlooking the village of Bonnieux, Capelongue is a hamlet designed around a village square. Living to the rhythm of local events events, artists’ residencies and festivals, the estate celebrates creativity, gastronomy and contemporary crafts. Capelongue is the heritage and embodiment of Provence today. The panorama is breathtaking. From the edge of the Claparèdes plateau on which it stands, Capelongue overlooks Bonnieux, a magnificent village perched in the heart of the Golden Triangle of the Luberon. Authenticity, friendliness and generosity reign, cradled by the charm of this Provence of the hinterland where one comes to take refuge. A place full of soul that invites you to take a step back and let off steam.

The hotel property is lovely and the room was very comfortable during our stay, two pools are of benefit with the amount of rooms at the property. The staff are all friendly but unfortunately there were a few snags we thought shouldn't happen at this price range. The service at the informal restaurant Bergerie Restaurant both at Breakfast and Dinner was very slow. At breakfast we had to get someones attention to take our hot drinks order and hot food order because no one came to ask us what we wanted. One morning we ordered an omlett which never made it to our table another time we did not get our hot drinks. Also the toaster did not work on our first morning and was not replaced until 4 days later. It cant be that difficult to get a new toaster. Also no fresh cut fruit at breakfast yet we saw some people with fresh strawberries at their table. The dinner service was incredibly slow where our main meal arrived 20 minutes after our first course was cleared and more than once did we have to wait a very long time to get the bill. We had lunch once and again had to wait a very long time for someone to bring us a menu, then a long time for someone to take our order. Room cleaning was usually done very late in the day, We once came back from an outing at 3:30 pm and the room was still not made up. Also our tray with the left overs from room service dinner the night before was not cleared the next day, even when room service cleaned our room, they left it behind. We are not sure if it's a seasonal thing but the fact that the only bar of the hotel is only open 5 days a week was disappointing. Mainly because you had no way of sitting at the bar in the informal Bergerie restaurant and when it rains you cant use it's outside space to have an Aperitif. With the village below not having much options for a drink during this time of year we depended on the hotel for this service. So maybe something to consider in the future to have a bar that's open all the time. We think that for the price you pay certain services should have been much better.

Beautiful grounds, great food with gluten free options ! Staff made the visit excellent though . Reception, valet , dining & housekeeping were kind and hospitable.

The property was spacious, elegant, and top notch. The staff was professional, courteous, and went above and beyond. For these reasons it is expensive to stay here and worth the expense. In life, you get what you pay for.

The informal restaurant, the spa, the pool area, the room and its surroundings were beyond beautiful, peaceful, chic and magical! A place to relax, to celebrate.I highly recommend it😍

A beautiful hotel walking distance from Bonnieux, a quintessential Provencal village. The onsite restaurant, La Bergerie, was excellent. We booked an Amex FHR rate and got upgraded to a beautiful suite with a large terrace. The mini bar was free as one of the benefits (and stocked with high-quality items!). Overall, one of our favorite hotels during a one-month long vacation in Europe.

My husband and I recently had the extraordinary pleasure of staying at La Bastide de Capelongue. What a feast for all the senses! Beautiful accommodation, fine wine and exquisite food all supported by professional and friendly staff. We have enjoyed many wonderful vacations all courtesy of Luxury Link but this Hotel has certainly offered the ultimate experience.

This summer we spent five glorious nights in Provence at La Bastide de Capelongue. The experience provided us with a top-notch hotel room, unique and elegant, with added benefits like dinners with wine and so much more. With the quality of the facilities and the courtesy of the staff, every effort was always made to welcome us.

La Bastide de Capelongue was, of all the places in the world I've visited, one of the most beautiful. Words, and even pictures, do not do it justice. The rooms are luxurious and very stylish, the gardens beautiful, the scenery unbelievable, and the food exquisite. The staff was extremely professional and courteous.
