Building work outside room in evening. Room flooded by water leak due to poor maintenance. Water was turned off on arrival so had to go to bed without washing etc. not acceptable for such an expensive resort

It’s fabulous - it always is . One thing however and have mentioned before , the walk to beach via decking is challenging - but big NOTE of ADVICE due to January weather conditions the beach Restaurant is temporarily closed but the IMPORTANT part - having walked the walk NO TOWEL HUT which means NO TOWELS and it’s obviously a long way back to get them . No advice of this in pre booking/ visit advices or at Reception check in desk and the smallest of vague noticing at the Lift / staircase - in fact it could be classed as a game to spot the 4 mm wording towels in garden . We watched many a guest having navigated the walk then met with no towel hut looking and indeed sounding very disgruntled about the whole episode . Can we Suggest PC a A4 notice for this alone and advice to new guests at check in .

Over priced, €35 for buffet breakfast! Many restaurants closed, room not ready on check in at 3p, room not clean by 4p next day.

I was deeply disappointed with my stay at Pine Cliffs Luxury Hotel. It is clear that the hotel was trying to cut costs by reducing basic services and amenities, whether that was providing water, bathroom toiletries, proper housekeeping attention, timely services, or the overall level of hospitality and comfort you would expect from a luxury hotel. The level of service fell far below expectations from the moment I checked in. When I got to my room, I discovered that the interconnecting door was unlocked. I went down to reception to ask them to lock it, and instead of taking the issue seriously, they asked whether I had tried opening the other room. I said no, as it was clearly someone else’s room. I was then told it “should be fine” because the other side was likely locked, though they reluctantly agreed to check it. When staff eventually came to the room, the other door opened, which was extremely concerning from both a privacy and security perspective. The rest of the stay did not improve. We had to queue for 15 minutes just to be seated at breakfast, and despite calling reception, the water in our room was not replenished. There was also no readily available drinking water anywhere in the hotel, so it wasn’t even possible to refill our bottles ourselves. To make matters worse, maintenance work began at 9am each morning, with loud banging and drilling outside our window. Overall, the experience fell well below what would be expected from a 5 star, or even four star hotel, both in terms of service and basic standards.

I visited this resot on a business trip and I had a great stay at Pine Cliffs Resort. They have excellent facilities and the service throughout the resort was friendly and professional. One of the highlights was definitely the food at Corda Cafe, absolutely delicious, tasty and with great quality options. The beach access is quite “interesting,” as it involves both an elevator and a long staircase down the cliffs, but it actually adds a unique charm to the experience and the views are worth it. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to nearby areas while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. Right next to a golf course (actually the golf course is inside the resort), football pitch, and much more.... Overall, a wonderful resort experience and a place we would happily return to.

Thank you for a lovely stay at Sheraton Algarve Hotel. We enjoyed it very much indeed. We really appreciated the room upgrade, the bottle of port, and we were most impressed with the property. I must also say that all the staff that we dealt with were very helpful which also makes a big difference.
