Reviews for Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel

Best massage after a hike

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Beautiful hotel with a Spa the reinvigorate the body after the Machu Picchu climb. Eva gave a great leg massage. Would it be corny to say it was a sorely needed massage?

Amazing stay in Sacred Valley

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

We had an amazing time at Sumaq. Our family was very comfortable, and we appreciated the tours that the hotel arranged. The massages were excellent (thank you Mary and Eva). The food was fantastic, and service was excellent - Hermitaño and Mariano were our main servers but all of the staff members were great. The hotel is very peaceful and quiet, all you really hear is the river. Location is great, it is a very short walk from the town center and bus stop.

Great stay in Machu Picchu

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

This is a lovely property in the small village of Machu Picchu. We were greeted with a welcome drink, were able to check in early before we enjoyed the ruins of Machu Picchu. Beautiful decor, very comfortable room, great customer service, thanks for sharing the walking sticks! I also enjoyed a massage with Mary at the hotel spa, one of the best spa experiences I've had. Thank you Mary for the massage and relaxation time.

Anniversary trip

Amazing stay, staff, and food. Breakfast and dinner were lovely, but the highlight of our trip was the tasting menu in a private dining room. An experience we will never forget.
