April in Machu Picchu

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

We had an excellent and memorable time at the Sumaq Machu Picchu in April. I was traveling with my two daughters and a friend. From the moment we entered the hotel, we were greeted by the wonderful staff with delicious drinks and welcoming smiles. The location was superb for visiting Machu Picchu. The breakfast and dinners were amazing!! A special shout out to Mary in the spa. My friend and I had wonderful treatments. Probably one of the best massages I have ever had. The location was great for exploring Machu Picchu village and for shopping. I will never forget the wonderful trip we took to Peru!

The best hotel in Peru!

Having just spent three weeks in Peru the SUMAQ was easily the best hotel we stayed in whilst away. From the welcome to departure we were extremely well looked after, the food was excellent the room was lovely and the dressing gowns sublime. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Machu Picchu.

Excellence in Perú

Richard met us right at the train station and made us feel safe and welcome. He was extremely polite and professional while immediately taking care of luggage and belongings. We were walked to the hotel, which truly impressed us with its charm, decor and excellent staff. From the moment we walked in, we experienced true luxury and beauty. The environment feels authentic and incredibly comfortable. Richard and the hotel staff, combined with the beauty and sophistication of the rooms and hallways will make us repeat guests!
