Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel

I surely will return to this hotel. I’m really satisfied with the crew and building itself.

I highly recommend the Aqlla Spa. My husband and I both got massages and the therapists were top notch--one of the best massages we have had anywhere. Prices were reasonable and customer service was outstanding. Thanks to Marcy and Sonia for a badly needed massage after going to Machu Picchu. We needed it!

We had a wonderful stay at Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel. It is a beautiful, luxurious property, but what really stood out to us was the exceptional level of service. The staff made what could have been a complicated visit to Machu Picchu incredibly easy and stress-free. From the moment we arrived in Aguas Calientes, the service was fantastic. Hotel staff met us at the train station, helped collect our luggage, and accompanied us to the hotel. They also helped us purchase our bus tickets for Machu Picchu and arranged an excellent English-speaking guide (Antoinette) for our Machu Picchu visit. All of the staff were amazing but I would like to highlight some staff in particular. Thalia was our front desk receptionist that made the entire check in and out process stress free. Luis helped us a lot at the restaurant and gave extra attention to make sure our toddler was comfortable. Johnny was extremely courteous and helped us with our baggage from and to the train station. The help transporting our luggage from and back to the train station was incredibly convenient, especially when traveling as a family with a young child. Having the hotel help coordinate so many of the details surrounding our Machu Picchu visit made a huge difference. Instead of worrying about transportation, tickets, luggage, and finding a guide, we were able to simply enjoy the experience. Beautiful hotel, luxurious accommodations, and truly outstanding service from beginning to end. Sumaq made our Machu Picchu experience much easier and more enjoyable, and we would absolutely stay here again. Five stars!

Located at the base of the main road leading to Machu Pichu- you’re going to have trouble finding a better spot when visiting Aguas Caliente / Machu Pichu. In addition the the amazing staff, ideal location, delicious dining, its right next to all the action while still being set away from the hustle snd bustle to get some good relaxation and sleep after a long day!

David Frank and Angelo took real good care of us. Noel brought the stuff we left in the room. The room was very comfortable really great. Nice mattress and pillows!
