Beautiful location, incredible food, and immaculate rooms. We went through a travel agency that booked this hotel for us and we couldn’t have been happier. It had incredible views of the mountains and river, and the staff provided phenomenal service. Luis was especially helpful and friendly, and provided great service.

I had an excellent experience during my stay at the hotel, the dinner was so delicious, the staff were so friendly specifically Frank from reception, who was so nice and very kind. I truly recommend this hotel.

SPECTACULAR!!
UNREAL! Where to begin?? This is one of the most amazing hotels we have ever been to. The hospitality is unmatched from the moment you arrive in Aguas Calientes. They had someone meet us at the train, walk us to the hotel, bring our bags, welcome us with fabulous fresh drinks, check us in while we relaxed in the gorgeous lobby. They showed us around and to our unbelievably beautiful room. We rested and later enjoyed the fantastic drinks at the bar, specially prepared by Luis. Later we were welcomed to a fantastically luxurious dinner, which was truly delicious from beginning to end. Our waiter was Johann & he was incredibly charming. He was total delight to chat with and he had excellent recommendations for us. We can't wait to go back for dinner tomorrow, we will ask for him by name! When we returned to our room after dinner, special treats had been left for us, and chocolates on the pillows. :o This has to be the most posh place we have ever stayed!! Wow!!!

Luxury in a little city, Johann was our guy!
A beautiful luxurious stay in a small town near machu picchu. The experience was flawless. We took the train into town and greeted by a staff member at the train station, and we walked about 10 minutes to the hotel. We got refreshing drinks as we waited. The room was beautiful, bathroom was very clean. It's very well maintained. Then we got to dinner, the dining room was nice and the service was top notch. Our server of the night, Johann, was on point on every single thing, making sure we were taken cared off, and able to give good food recommendations. He was so good that we are asking him to be our server again on the next night dinner. Overall it has been an excellent experience all around.

Perfect hotel for visiting Machu Picchu
Perfect hotel to stay at if traveling to Machu Picchu! Very family friendly. We have 3 small kids and they had activities for them and made it enjoyable for everyone. Mariano was a fabulous waiter that made our dinner a great experience. Daniel was a great concierge and helped us plan our time. Would highly recommend the Allco package which includes tickets for Machu Piccu and had 2 tour guides, one for the adults and one for the kids

Thanks to Sumaq Machu Picchu for its vision in creating such a tranquil space. If I return to Machu Picchu I would definitely stay here again. And the food was delicious!
