Sumac Hotel Luxury in the Mountains
From the moment we stepped in the door, we are greeted like family. David found out who we were helped us with our bags and got a hot tea as it was cold and raining. We were not rushed at anything and our room was not ready so they took our bags, checked us in and off we went to see the sites. It was the same experience of all welcoming when we returned that afternoon. Our room was fantastic and the air conditioning works so well we really also enjoyed the coffee pot in the room as our wake up was 4:30 AM. The shower was also fantastic. breakfast was amazing and again the service was spectacular. When we were checking out, Thailia helped us with our luggage. There was nothing but sweet kind and professional. They moved our luggage to the train station for us, too. definitely recommend sumac hotel for a luxury experience in Machu Picchu. And as all through the town, the trains run all hours in the night!

Perfect service. One of the best i ever experienced. Everybody went above and beyond their call of duty. But, the noise from the train passing by my window all day and night was unpleasant and the lack of view was unfortunate.

Perfect hotel for Machu Picchu
We couldn't have wished for a better place to rest after visiting Machu Picchu than Sumaq. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, the room comfortable and the restaurant food and service very good too. Having a comfy lounge to use between check out and the train back to Ollantaytambo was a bonus, as was the service to collect/deliver overnight bags to the station. Highly recommended.

Thanks to Sumaq Machu Picchu for its vision in creating such a tranquil space. If I return to Machu Picchu I would definitely stay here again. And the food was delicious!
