Find all of the beauty and drama of Venice in a most unlikely place when you check into The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino on the Strip in Las Vegas. With soaring marble pillars, works of art and entire facades painstakingly recreated, not to mention actual canals with singing gondoliers gliding past, The Venetian captures the magic of Italy perfectly. The Grand Canal Shoppes, including some of the most sought-after designer names, and restaurants run by some of most highly regarded chefs, line the canals beneath vaulted, hand-painted ceilings. An 112,000 square foot casino awaits those ready to try their luck at the famed tables, while a variety of activities offer additional diversity. The Venetian is a chance to walk through halls of history, explore the beauty of one of Italy's most famous cities, and to experience the wonders that Las Vegas has to offer - in one spectacular resort.

They charge for water I. Your room. 16$ for a bottle of water. I thought it was complimentary. I’ll take down this review of the concierge refunds me on “refreshment” charges. They didn’t tell me this at the front desk and there are no prices or tags next to things. I find this business practice u ethical and insulting. You would think for such a nice place that has been in. Eggs so long, they can continue getting away with this kind of prices gouging and manipulation.

We were not impressed. Although there a lot of amenities, including pools, gym, etc that was closed sue being off season, The Venetian still charged a resort fee. Also, both tv remote batteries were not charged and the TV screen was dusty not what we expected for a luxury hotel with the prices they charge. Will probably be the last time staying at the Venetian.

The best on the strip. Great rooms, great food and a comfortable place to stay!

Great room, great service and they have so many places to eat. We will definitely be back.

⸻ We stayed at The Venetian to celebrate my mother’s birthday, and given the price point ($800–$900 per night), our expectations were understandably high. Unfortunately, the experience fell well short of what a luxury property should deliver. Ahead of our stay, I emailed the concierge to see if they could help with something simple and celebratory like balloons for her arrival. I never received a direct response. At check-in, a cheap “Congratulations” sash was offered, which felt disconnected from the request and frankly underwhelming for a milestone birthday. Once in the room, issues began immediately. Several outlets didn’t work, requiring a maintenance visit. Later, the room phone also didn’t work, which meant maintenance had to come back a second time. One of the most unsettling moments was when we returned to the room and found an item moved on my sister’s suitcase (an item she had intentionally placed and photographed before leaving). Nothing appears to have been taken, but someone was clearly touching our belongings, which felt invasive and uncomfortable. Housekeeping was another major problem. We found trash from previous guests (used floss and tissues) behind the bathroom trash can. Completely unacceptable at any hotel, let alone one at this price level. Our room was not cleaned the first full day despite purposely taking down the “privacy” notice from the door. I had to ask three different staff members in one day before it was finally addressed. The lighting in the room was poorly designed and frustrating, especially for an elderly guest. The bathroom light would not turn on unless all lights in the room were on. This meant our 80 year old mother had to navigate the bathroom in near darkness at night, which is both dangerous and unacceptable. Lighting issues affected the room overall and made nighttime use unnecessarily difficult. We were also not informed that our view would be directly of a major construction site, which further detracted from the experience. We paid extra for access to the Prestige Lounge, which was decent. Breakfast offered a good variety, including some gluten-free options, and the espresso/cappuccino machine and bar service were highlights. Evening appetizers were just okay. As someone who is gluten-free, there were a couple nights where I couldn’t eat anything, and allergen labeling should be double-checked as some items containing gluten were not clearly marked. For comparison, we stayed at The Bellagio on the same trip and found it significantly better overall in terms of service and experience (though their room-service “grilled” cheese was laughably overpriced at $36 and terribly disappointing). Given the cost, the brand, and the occasion, this stay at The Venetian was deeply disappointing. Luxury pricing should come with thoughtful service, attention to detail, and basic functionality, none of which were consistently delivered here.

We have stayed in other Vegas top hotels but we would come back without a second thought. I wish I was there right now!
