All guests must register with the Casa de Campo Concierge office, and for a small daily fee ($30 per adult per night & $15 per child per night), are granted access to resort areas and amenities. At Casa Bonita the back of the villa opens onto a lake fronting The Links, sunroom windows folded open on three sides and the lawn rolling to the water. Four bedrooms sleep eight in a Golf Villa Phase V lakefront villa, with an included cook handling all the meals. The fit: a family of eight in their own rooms, a friend group built around the sunroom, or two couples who came for a quiet lakefront and a walled inner pool over a beachfront crowd.

Mornings start in the sunroom, casement windows folded open to the lake and the course past the lawn. By midday the group splits — half at the walled inner courtyard pool with no neighbour in sight, half at the lawn watching foursomes go through. Afternoons settle back at the sunroom for drinks and quiet. The long dining table runs under an antique chandelier for dinner.
