Villa Palms is a seven-bedroom villa in Las Palmas, set on a fairway-front lawn wide enough that the kids find the swing set before the bags are out of the car. The La Romana Country Club fairway runs past the back lawn, and mature shade trees keep the grass cool through the afternoon. It sleeps fourteen across seven bedrooms, with an included cook handling all the meals.

The pool sits across the lawn from the back terrace, with chaises and parasols lined up for whoever wants the sun. By mid-morning the older kids are in and out of the water; the youngest are on the swing set out by the fairway. Inside, the vaulted great room and a separate den give the adults somewhere to spread out without leaving the villa. Lunch lands at the long live-edge table with the pool just outside the window. Late afternoon, someone's back from a round of golf, rinsing off at the outdoor garden shower before dinner. At sundown the same table holds the full fourteen, doors open to the lawn while the day cools off.
