Tortuga Bay Hotel at Puntacana Resort & Club

This resort is so perfect and dreamy! We stayed in an ocean front villa for our honeymoon, and the experience was amazing from start to finish. The resort itself is gorgeous! Everything is well maintained and decorated to perfection, from the villas to the grounds and the beach. The view from our villa was just breathtaking. We had the most beautiful view of the ocean and the coastal side of the resort. It was so quiet and peaceful during our stay - even the pool area. We loved the onsite pool and the poolside lounge chairs. We found that everywhere we went, there was peace and quiet. Other guests were respectful of each other here. The food at the Bamboo restaurant is excellent, and they can accommodate special requests. For example, one morning we asked for a different flavor of French toast, and they had no problem whipping something up. Friday nights are Dominican night, where there’s live music and a special optional menu. I had the snapper and it was so delicious! The resort provided us with a golf cart, which made our stay more enjoyable. We used the golf cart to visit nearby attractions such as the spa, other restaurants, and the ecological reserve. It was really convenient for us to be able to take the golf cart almost anywhere! The most memorable thing about our stay here was the level of service we got and the people that worked at the resort. We have never been to a resort with such personalized and amazing service. Moreover, every single team member was so nice and friendly. They knew us by name. Every single day, they went out of their way to do something special for our honeymoon - special flowers on our table, a semi-private breakfast setup, complimentary mimosas and champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, hand written notes, and even parting gifts on our last day (local honey and a small container of mamajuana). One of the staff members, Antonio, made us his special ginger tea every night when he learned that we enjoyed the tea from the spa. We really enjoyed talking with him during our weeklong stay. Other team members that really stood out to us were Yocasta, Alcedo, Victor, Emmy, and Thomas! But honestly, every single person who we encountered at the resort was amazing! I would highly recommend this resort and I hope to return someday!

Tortuga Bay really is paradise. I’ve been to many wonderful hotels, but this seems to top them. We didn’t want to leave and spent the time planning our return. Thank you so much for the incredible service.

We recently spent a luxurious week at Tortuga Bay Puntacana resort. It was magical! The grounds were stunning and impeccably maintained, the accommodations were amazing...spacious, immaculately clean and very comfortable. The service was top notch and every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and attentive. The spa and golf courses were fantastic as well. We loved every minute of it! I highly recommend this resort and cannot wait to go back.

This was one of the loveliest beach properties I have ever stayed and feels like a private island once you are on property. I highly recommend this Tortuga Bay Punta Cana and cannot wait to come back and bring my entire family. The food was amazing and the kids loved the golf cart. I would give this more than 5 stars if I could. 5 stars!!!

We had a wonderful time at Tortuga Bay. The property is beautiful and perfectly kept, our accommodations were spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean, the food is fresh, of high quality and delicious! The service was understated but incredible - not in your face but it felt like our wish was their demand. We had a relaxing and incredibly lovely family vacation and hope to return again!
