Great resort, with stunning beach and big variety of food. Our stay was amazing, there was everything what we needed. Adults only part is really nice if you are travelling without kids. Staff is doing their best, especially Mildred and Olga from pool bar, girls were amazing!

Pros - Junior, the pool concierge, was so helpful. - The beach was clear of seaweed. - The pool had comfortable chairs, refreshingly cool water - Enclave lounge was a nice perk and it was nice to be able to pop in for a snack. - Coffee at the coffee shop was good. Cons - The room was very musty and felt humid. - The AC is motion activated so it turns off during the night when sleeping. You wake up hot and have to wave your arms around to get it started again. Not a great way to relax on your vacation. - Seats at the beach and pool are saved early by inconsiderate guests who don’t show up until the afternoon - The food is edible but not great. We didn’t find a single dining establishment that had something we would want again. - There were long wait times for restaurants other than buffet if you go later then when they first open. - The manager at the Italian restaurant wouldn’t let us in because he said my mom was wearing flip flops. Mine and my husband’s actual flip flops were okay but my mom’s $200 designer shoes were considered unacceptable. After some pushing the manager relented and let us eat but it shouldn’t have come to that. If you’re going to have a dress code be consistent. A t shirt with holes and crocks are okay but shoes that cost $200+ are not. That’s ridiculous. - Everything is bacon. Guanchale = bacon. Pork belly = bacon Bacon = bacon - The constant harassment to come to a time share presentation was tiring. While Winfrid was very nice we were very much over him by the end.

Last June (2023) we visited for the 1st time, we loved the resort so much that we returned this year with our two adult children + two of their friends. We were afraid we had “oversold” it to them and wondered if they’d like it as much as us. We arrived on Saturday around 6pm and after the VIP check in, experiencing dinner at Sakura, then returning to the Enclave lounge they all said that based on just that first night they were in love! The service at the resort is unmatched to anywhere we have traveled. It is the ONLY place (US and other countries) that we see this exceptional level of service. There is no attention to detail that is skipped anywhere. The workers all always have a smile on their face and go over and above to take care of you. The variety of food offerings is incredible. We haven’t had any meals that we didn’t like…our favorites for dinner are Sakura and The chefs at the table cooking are wonderful. Very entertaining and engaging (we happen to love Julio and Jose) , Azzuria (Italian) and Chinola (Caribbean). We love the coffee shop in the lobby, all of the girls there are friendly and make excellent coffee drinks. I have to give major compliments to Victor Val, our room butler last year and this year (we specifically requested him this year ahead of arrival). He is a big factor in our return to the resort. His huge smile and love of serving his guests shows all day, every day. He met us in the lobby when we arrived and our son said he could see why we had talked so highly of him, that it was instantly apparent what an incredible, friendly personality he has. We can’t imagine ever coming to the resort and not having Victor take care of us. He checks in all day to see if there’s anything he can do to make the stay pleasant. I also want to mention that Alex at the adults swim up bar went over and above to surprise us with special drink concoctions and making sure we were happy with his service. The servers at the pool (Johanney) and other bartender (Jose) also were always providing excellent service. I didn’t write down names, but the bartenders in the Enclave lounge really do a spectacular job of taking care of the guests. It is probably the busiest place at night and they are so accommodating and make the best espresso martinis! We don’t want to ever reinvent the wheel, this is going to become an annual June trip from here on out. There’s no reason to try anywhere else in the DR.

Once again we had a fabulous time! This is an amazing resort with beautiful scenery, the kindest people, and beautiful blue water. We love that the staff all feel like family as we return each year. I want to shout out Yuliana, Maria who led activities and always found time to chat and answer questions and inform us of activities. Always happy to see Pablo Picasso and Freddy leading activities, they are fun and personable and always available to guests. Rene also interacts at the gym and on the beach with the guests and is very helpful and friendly. The restaurants offer a variety and if you need something just ask. Bienvenido at the family buffet greeted us and took excellent care of us every morning. All in all we had a wonderful time and will be returning!
