Give me the details - Traveling with Hurtigruten means traveling with a true Norwegian company that has sailed the coast for over 130 years.

They've designed their voyages to be an escape from the stresses of a fast-paced world, settling into the rhythm of life at sea.

With an average capacity of 500 passengers, their ships are big enough for travelers to find quiet spots for some quality alone time, but small enough to create a cozy atmosphere that makes it easy to chat with like-minded shipmates. The décor of cabins and the communal areas evoke a sense of nostalgia, calling back to the golden era of small-ship sailing. Enjoy floor-to-ceiling views from the onboard restaurants, the lounge, and even from the sauna and fitness room. For fresh sea air and clear views of the fjords, mountains, islands, sunset, or the aurora above, the outdoor observation deck is the place to go. There is no dress code on board, no casinos or discos. Entertainment on a Hurtigruten voyage comes from the beauty of the fjords, the charm of the communities you visit and the late night show of Northern Lights. Their Coastal Experience team add to your voyage, providing lectures and presentations while teaching you all about their home.

Northern Lights Promise - The best time to see the Northern Lights? Now. Scientists predict the Solar Maximum in 2024-25 will result in the most frequent and impressive Northern Lights in more than a decade and a Hurtigruten voyage along Norway's coast is one of the best ways to see them.
