We had another wonderful week at Velas Vallarta. We spent time with the best server at the pool area, Jacinto. Met the most amazing new server at the pool Andrea. That girl can hustle. My only negative commet about the pool area is the furniture was not as clean as previous visits. We were also thrilled to see that Rego and Juan had returned to the beachside restaurant. Omar at Andrea's was fabulous as always. He had the chef creat special dinners for the dietary needs of a family member. If you need something special just ask. Our room was clean and comfortable. However, we only had turndown service a couple of times.

The service is next level and the people are genuine and friendly. Everyone from the moment you get here is extremely eager to help make everything perfect. Wait times for food at restaurants, or at the pool, or for room assistance exceed all expectations. A wonderful place for vacation.

We had an amazing visit! I feel like the food has gone up in quality. We didn’t have a bad meal. Everything was amazing! Christina greeted us every morning for breakfast at La Ribera. She is so warm and friendly, we look forward to seeing her every morning. Jacinto, Miguel, Carlos and Ivan took great care of us at the pool! Christian in activities keeps everyone happy and in check. He does a fabulous job! Omar at Andrea’s greeting is each evening which a smile and handshake. I can’t say enough how these amazing people make our trip. Thanks for everything. We will be back!

We just got married at Velas and it was by far one of the best weeks of my life. Our wedding planner, Michele Tanc, took care of every detail to the point that we were actually able to enjoy the entire day and leading up to the wedding. She handled all of the moving parts, allowing us to enjoy our family and friends just like we were hoping we would be able to do. To say the staff went above and beyond to make sure my family and my friends enjoyed our stay is an understatement. Our family and friends are hoping we can turn our anniversary into a biannual trip to Velas to celebrate family, friendship and love. Michele and all of the service staff on the property continue to provide the best service I have ever experienced, anywhere.

This was my first stay at Velas Vallarta. Stunning, admittedly an overused term, nevertheless applies to the resort grounds and the service - both at every turn. The grounds are gorgeously manicured and mature- with a lazy river for the humans and a lazy pond for the koi. From room service to poolside waitstaff….we were doted on. Regardless of our request we were greeted with a smile and a yes. Our favorite honored request was for two snifters of cognac to be poured at Andrea’s after dinner- and transported to our room. These were savored on our deck as we absorbed the beautiful nighttime glow of the grounds. A disappointment -which will not deter us from returning- is the cocktail service. Poolside cocktails were great- but craft cocktails were either not available or poorly executed. A beautiful experience worth both the time and cost.
