Phulay Bay, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve

We just spent 11 days in paradise ! We have stayed at wonderful places worldwide, but this experience beats it all. The unique location . And for the rest I really can't know where to start :The unique atmosphere , the amenities the villas with their incredible decors , the indescribable views and scenery, the attention, service ,the cleanliness, no noise other than sound of waterfalls. We never ever experienced such kindness from the entire staff from the management team ( Seen, Paul and Sunny) to Habib our butler preparing us a bubble bath and serving fresh coconuts in our villa to rehydrate after an excursion on an island beach... impossible to describe it all, unimaginable for looking after us so well ! We got many times our moneys worth. We will go back. Thanks again Habib and to some of the staff and servers: Wonderful Bluthe, Lif, Aom, Apple just to unfairly just mentioning a handful of so many unforgettable staff. We recently stayed at the property and overall was an incredible experience! The property was beautiful, peaceful and all the staff from the restaurants to the boutique were so kind and welcoming. Our butler during the visit was Habib and they did an excellent job making sure our entire visit was special and full of surprises. They ensured all our scheduled excursions and dinners went to plan. If you are visiting south Thailand and want a beautiful memorable experience, you must visit this property!

This is an extraordinary hotel. It’s almost impossible to describe Phulay Bay without resorting to endless superlatives, and you can’t really do it justice in a brief review. There are lots of nice resorts in Asia. But there is only one Phuiay Bay. The setting is magnificent, with Instagram-worthy views of the Andaman Sea. The grounds are truly stunning. The staff are without exception gracious and charming. The level of service and attention to detail are truly extraordinary. The rooms are beautifully designed and decorated. You’ll feel like royalty. All three restaurants are outstanding. The breakfast buffet is to die for. The best we’ve ever had. My wife and I have travelled extensively, and have been fortunate to stay at many beautiful hotels. Phulay Bay is our all-time favorite.

We spent 4 nights at this beautiful hotel. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. The staff especially our butler Nan were so lovely and made us feel so special. The restaurant and service were exceptional. We had the most wonderful time and cannot wait to return.

I had such a wonderful experience at this Ritz Carlton Reserve (Phulay Bay) From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed and genuinely cared for. They BANGED the GONG and I immediately felt like royalty. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and willing to help with anything I needed. Villa 21 was spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained. The bed was massive and incredibly comfortable! I appreciated the small details—fresh lemon grass soap, Nespresso, tea, towel … I can go on and on. The villa was a dream! Quiet ,private and relaxing. Housekeeping did an amazing job. The hotel’s amenities were another highlight. Breakfast had a great variety of Thai and different cultures of plates! Please try the coconut fresh toasts! Vacation calories don’t count. TRY IT ALL. Everything tasted fresh every morning. But the real MVP (most valuable player) is BUA 💗 She is kind, generous extremely helpful and made recommendations on excursions. BUA’s heart radiates kindness, she’ll look after you. After a beautiful day at Hong Island we were dropped off by the bar. The bar is outstanding! Honorable mention PAUL, Beverage Manager. He’s engaging, talkative, curious and extremely knowledgeable about world liquor. You can tell he’s passionate his guests. Order a Negroni … 😉 Last but not least is FAH, (Butler for our Villa 21) I don’t recall but someone asked the name of our “Butler” I responded you mean, “MY FRIEND FAH” FAH this experience would have not been the same without you. You my dear friend are special and a rare gem. Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. It’s the closest experience to heaven. With Love Miriam Kohl (Villa 21)
