Locanda in Tuscany

We spent 3 nights (the last part of our tour of Tuscany) at La Locanda and were blessed with wall to wall sunshine. We were welcomed on arrival by the ever friendly and helpful Marco and the team, all of whom were a delight, looking after us so well during our stay! The first thing you take in are the views from the pool to the rolling Tuscan hills, which are absolutely breathtaking. Our room was immaculate and clean and every day perfectly made up again. We had breakfast and dinner each night (no need to go out again if you've been sight-seeing all day) and the Tuscan cuisine was first class - we noted non residents came to dine here. La Locanda is a great base to see the Unesco designated sites - tip best visited early morning before they get busy and parking is at a premium. Some lovely memories were made here!

Wow. We were on the VF route and stayed here unfortunately only one night. Wonderful place, warm atmosphere, smiling service and tasty local products in the middle of peaceful Tuscany. What more could you ask for? We will come again. Brg Jarmo

Beautiful setting right in the heart of Val D’Orcia. You can clearly see that while creating this place not any single little detail was missed out. We were lucky enough to stay in a room with the valley view and it was honestly one of a kind experience. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, we couldnt have imagined a better place to stay. This is a truly magical place that is made even more special by the staff and the great countryside location. The accommodation is beautiful, I stayed here for 5 nights with my husband on a two week trip around Italy and this was by far my favourite. Marika, Inder and Marco go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and helping us with making plans and reservations (greatly appreciated with my patchy Italian!). The room was very rustic but still spotlessly clean, a very minor bit of feedback would maybe be some nicer seating outside room 5 to be able to sit out in the sun with a coffee but we were very happy hanging out around the pool area. We even saw some deer running through the fields while have our breakfast! Thanks all for a wonderful stay!

Perfection in Locanda. From start to finish a phenomenal stay. Location and views blew us away. Accommodation just lovely. Bed, super comfy. Stand out feature is the staff who were simply brilliant. From Inder on the front desk to Francesco, Adrian, Claudia, Anna and Alllesandro who were on hand to help with all your needs, to the cleaners and staff in the background who all strive, with passion, to make your experience special. Best customer service we’ve received in a long while. Outstanding.
